The year was 2011 and I was on assignment for a client. I came across a site that was so beautiful and captivating. That place was Chapman’s Peak. Along our drive up the coastline of Cape Town, we stopped at the peak to take it all in and enjoy what was in front of us. The countryside in this region of the world is simply breathtaking and absolutely a once in a lifetime experience.
I flew over 36 hours from San Francisco to New York to Johannesburg to make it to my destination of Cape Town. For me, it was the longest flight I’ve ever taken. But as I was looking forward to this trip, I anticipated that it would be the trip of a lifetime. People often ask me to name out of all of the places that I have traveled which one stands out the most, and I always rate South Africa by far as number one on my list.
This is my Canon story.” Camera: #Canon EOS 5D Mark II
