“This was on my first trip to Upper Lena Lake, with my little brother-in-law. We went woefully unprepared and ran out of water two thirds of the way up. We started to cramp and get light headed, well before it was time to rest or turn back. After we painfully reached the lake at the top of the 7.5 mile trail, we enjoyed this amazing view. We trekked down and fortunately were gifted water by passing hikers, as well as resorted to refilling our old bottles with no filter from natural mountain spring water. It was risky to say the least, but in the end we survived and made it home. It was a gorgeous hike and a trip we will never forget.” #MyCanonStory
