“I was hiking in a state park in New York on a quiet Wednesday. About 30 feet behind me on the trail followed a young couple and their two wild, canine companions… This fur-boy was running between his pack and I felt like I was part of it as well. Being a solo hiker in an unknown environment, I welcomed the dog and felt completely safe. We all met down at the waterfall and took photos together.
