As of June 1st 2026, it was announced that Primm, the casino town on the California Nevada state border, was going to cease all operations and shut down permanently.
As of uploading today, June 17th, it has since been announced that Terrible’s will be taking over all operations in Primm. We will see what will happen for sure, but when I filmed this video, it was with the mindset that this would be forever.
I stayed a night at Primm Valley Casino and resort, and while there, I walk you through my whole stay, from exploring the pool and gym, the restaurants, the casino, entertainment, and explore what has already been closed: Buffalo Bill’s casino, Whiskey Pete’s and the Prizm Fashion Outlet mall, which has been long closed.
I researched a bunch of old footage from these resorts and places to show what it used to look like during happier times. This includes footage from the llog ride, the monorails, the food court, and the mall.
I also show what the abandoned casinos look like at night.
The thumbnail was created with chatgpt, my thumbnails suck, and if I hire somebody, I know they’re gonna do the same thing and just use ChatGPT. I spend a ton of time making these videos, and I’ve gotta figure out a way to get people to click on them, and unfortunately, this is the world we’re in now. Hopefully one day, I can post anything and people will watch it!

Hearing your stories about Primm and seeing Buffalo Bill's in particular is so fascinating. While I've never visited, it made me feel like a loved one had passed on. I loved the drone shot going on the roller coaster, that was so cool!! Genuinely incredible story and production.

Fuck Affinity Gaming. I can't say it another way because they are such an absolutely horrible company. I stopped by Buffalo Bill's the last day it was open because every time we go to or from Vegas we'd stop for a drink at Tree Bar and play some video poker. The bar was closed. Ended up buying a few things from the gift shop and talked to a worker there. Even on the last day most employees didn't know if they were being transfered over to Primm Valley or not. If they weren't, they had three days to vacate their apartments which are behind the hotel. Most employees didn't have cars…. Fuck Affinity.
You asked about a suite at Primm Valley, they have them. Their Club House Suites are what you wanted. Either the desk agent didn't know better, the suites were all blocked off because the hotel doesn't want to clean them, or the person was too lazy to upgrade you. I tried twice to stay in the Presidential Suite at Bill's. The first time they said I was booked for a day of stay. Didn't take my number or give me a confirmation code. I had to give them my number. They called me back 10 minutes later and said someone was staying in it through the end of the month. Yeah right. The second time I left a voicemail and asked for a call back on it, nothing. Fuck Affinity.
Only the biggest assholes in the world, people dumber than the morons who run Resorts World could possibly take cheap to operate casinos on a freeway and bungle their operations so bad they close down. And they are so incompetent they couldn't even stay open all of the 4th of July.
I'm so happy someone else is taking these properties over, Primm deserves better, the employees there deserve better. I want my Tree Bar apple martini and Presidental Suite.
Now that my rant is over with, great video. I loved the Roller Coaster quiet screams you added and the drone shots. The hotel really does look like the Grand Floridian at Disneyworld. Like I said before, it deserves better.
