🌸 A peaceful spring walking tour through Japan’s famous Peach Blossom Paradise in Fuefuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture. 桃源郷
Starting from Hanatori Sports Plaza (花鳥の里スポーツ広場), we take the A route up to Hanatori Mountain Observatory (花鳥山展望台).
Enjoy the stunning view of endless pink peach orchards spreading like a carpet across the valley, with snowy mountains in the background. Walk through quiet villages and fields where you can hear the sound of water, birds singing, and farmers gently picking peach blossoms.
This area is renowned for its delicious peaches in summer. The famous Muscat vines are still budding in early spring. We also spotted the route of the Linear Maglev Shinkansen (running up to 440km/h), though it turned back during our visit.
Perfect for those who love slow travel, nature, and Japanese countryside in full bloom.

山梨県・甲府の近くにある静かな桃源郷。
花鳥の里から展望台へ歩いていくと、一面に広がる桃の花がピンクの絨毯のように続き、その向こうには雪をかぶった山々が見えます。
のどかな民家の間を歩くと、水の流れる音や鳥の声が聞こえ、農家の方が丁寧に桃の花の手入れをしている姿も見られました。
この地域は甘くて美味しい桃で有名で、シャインマスカットの産地としても知られています。
春のこの時期は、まだぶどうの木には芽が出始めたばかり。
リニア新幹線がこの場所を時速440kmで通るのを楽しみにしていましたが、この日は残念ながら見ることができませんでした。
また違う季節にも訪れてみたい場所です。
