The Aoi Bune is a traditional sightseeing boat that navigates the inner moat of Sumpu Castle in Shizuoka City. This experience offers passengers a unique perspective of the castle’s stone walls and the surrounding park landscape from the water.
The boat tour lasts approximately 40 minutes. Boarding takes place at a dedicated pier near the Higashi Gomon (East Gate). Tickets are priced at 1,200 yen for adults during the regular season, and 800 yen for December through February. This attraction serves as a peaceful way to explore the archaeological heritage of the Tokugawa Ieyasu era while enjoying the natural environment of the city center.
