HOKKAIDO CAMPERVAN VLOG: Noboribetsu Bear Park & Road Trip Part 1! 🚐🇯🇵✨
Welcome to Part 1 of our June holiday adventure through Hokkaido, Japan! We’re traveling by campervan with the kids, exploring everything from wildlife parks to hidden natural hot springs. If you’re looking for a Japan family travel guide or thinking about renting a motorhome in Hokkaido, this series is for you!

📍 TOP HOKKAIDO STOPS IN THIS VLOG:
Campervan Pickup: We started our journey with Aikato Camper Van. The service was amazing, and we highly recommend booking in advance via Instagram for a smooth experience [01:19].

Trout Fishing at a Local Pond: A perfect stop for kids! We tried pole fishing for rainbow trout, and the best part was getting our catch deep-fried for a delicious lunch [04:31].

Noboribetsu Bear Park (Bear Mountain): We took a scenic cable car up to see the brown bears. Don’t miss the famous duck race and the chance to feed the bears! [09:57]

Jigokudani (Hell Valley): A stunning geothermal crater. We took the 1.4km hike to the Oyunuma Natural Footbath to soak our feet in the warm, sulfurous river water [20:02].

Strawberry Picking in Sobetsu: We visited a local fruit village for some fresh strawberry picking. Pro-tip: arrive early as stocks are limited! [28:40]

🚐 CAMPERVAN LIFE TIPS:
Stock Up Early: Our first stop was Mega Don Quijote to grab all the essentials, snacks, and groceries before heading into the more rural areas [03:01].

Where to Sleep: We spent our first night at a Roadside Station (Michi-no-Eki) near Lake Toya. These are perfect for campervans as they have clean toilets and often feature playgrounds for the kids [25:56].

June Weather: It can get surprisingly warm in June (around 26-27°C), but it’s much cooler up in the mountains and near the coast [11:59].

💡 TRAVELER HIGHLIGHTS:
Oyunuma Footbath: The hike is uphill but totally worth it for the natural “onsen” experience in the middle of the woods [23:40].

Family Fun: From the interactive bear feeding [14:44] to the antique houses [16:50], there’s something for every age.
