In this 4K walking tour, experience the high-energy Friday night crowds of the shopping arcades, followed by the hauntingly beautiful stillness of Tanga Market after all the stalls have closed.
While the main streets were so packed it was hard to navigate, the market felt as if time had stopped, offering a rare, contemplative look at the “Kitchen of Kitakyushu” in total silence.

The final stop of my Kyushu circle! Before my ferry from Shin-Moji Port, I made a spontaneous stop in Kokura. Compared to the quiet streets of earlier towns, the sheer number of people here was a reminder of the energy that regional hubs in Fukuoka possess.
