   So good to see you both back in Japan. Whilst the "Golden Route" is very popular, a lot of visitors just stick to doing Tokyo > Kyoto > Osaka. It will be great to see the other places along the route that a lot of tourists miss. And congrats on having a partnership with JR Central! Have fun in Japan!

   Hi Jay and Karolina. Another really interesting vlog as you travel from Heathrow to Tokyo. A really quick check in, which is good to see and hear.
   How fantastic you were asked by Japan Rail to get involved to promote it through your channel .
   I will be using Sim Local when I go to Singapore, I used it when I went to the USA and it was great ( will use your code)
   Japan Airways flight looked great. Comfortable and good hospitality. Apart from the turbulence 😂 I always check the flight map too
   Great advice on the immigration process and so good it was so quick too.
   Really interesting you can get cash out without fees.
   Your experience shines through in how you negotiate the money issues in all the countries you visit, I assume you have built confidence and knowledge over your travel journeys.
   Oh wow the train was packed, like the London Underground 🤣
   The flight of steps with the luggage was a work out itself.
   In the hotel it was a cosy room but small, The bathroom with the smallest bath was funny, functional but tiny
   I’m not sure about eating looking at a “wall “ especially if you are as a couple, maybe I like people watching too much 😂 Obviously popular though, which says a lot about the quality of the food.
   Snacks looked so good, hard to resist.

    Just a little tip: When riding the subway, wear your backpacks on your chest. That custom is so that you are more aware of your space and more considerate of others around you. ❤🫡👍 Hope you had a great time!

    日本ではお二人は訪日観光客のリアクション動画ではかなりの有名人。
    敬意を示してくれて好感の持てる観光客として捉えている人が多いと思います。
    また新しい冒険を共有してくれるのが嬉しいです。

    さて、いくつか日本に滞在するにあたっていくつかアドバイスがあります。

    1.デジタルSuicaを利用する場合、iphoneにApple Payが登録されていれば物理カードは必要ありませんし、
    都内であれば多くの店舗で使用できるため少額のチャージではなく、最大の10,000円をチャージしても使い切れると思います。
    少額だと移動で料金不足になることが多いですから。都内ならタクシーでも使えることが多いですから。

    2.APAホテルは日本国内の80~90年代のビジネス用の宿泊施設に最適化された物件を買収して展開している会社なので内装は古く、立地によっては部屋はとても狭いです。
    低価格なのは魅力ですが、海外からの観光客にはあまりお勧め出来ないホテルです。
    あくまでも国内を往復する少量の荷物のビジネス向けの利用客が宿泊するために設計されているので、荷物を整理したりするスペースが確保されていないところが多いです。
    個人的にはひとりで国内を旅行する時は料金は数千円ほどしか変わらないのでツインルームをよく利用してます。
    バスタオルなどアメニティが二人分使えるし、スペースも広く使えますから。
    「APAホテル」を利用するなら「三井ガーデンホテル」がおすすめです。全館フレグランスが充満していて照明が落ち着いていてとてもリラックスできるホテルです。
    「三井ガーデンホテル」は安価だし部屋も広くて、落ち着いた観光客の方が多いです。

    3.「一蘭（Ichiran）ラーメン」は日本のラーメン屋の中では観光客向けに完全に振り切った会社です。
    美味しいラーメンを提供する店ですが、列に並ばなくても素晴らしいラーメンを提供している店は他にもたくさんあります。
    仕切られたカウンターや会話せずに味を決めることが出来る「体験」としての楽しさはあるとは思います。
    ある意味欧米でミーム化されたラーメン屋でしょうか。
    前回日本で滞在された時にはJayさん、Karokinaさんは日本人が足を運んでいるようなフランチャイズ店に訪れていないようですが、
    今後そうした店舗も選択肢に入れてみてください。とくに「餃子の王将」をチェックしてみてください。
    もちろん高級店ではないので庶民の味なのですが、「餃子の王将」にはJUST SIZEという通常の1/3ほどの量で、安価に多くの種類の味を楽しむことが魅力です。

    4.コンビニエンスストアは時間帯を気にせずに楽しめますが、近くにスーパーマーケットや大型のドラッグストアを利用してみてください。
    同じ商品でもコンビニエンスストアやドン・キホーテよりも商品をもっと安く手に入ることがあります。
    スーパーマーケットは19時にあたりになると弁当や惣菜のクリアランスセールが始まるので、当日調理した商品が30%〜50%値引きされます。
    より賢い観光客はそちらを利用すると思います。

    5.日本滞在時の食事に関してはメリハリをつけると良いと思います。
    予算に余裕がない場合は中間の値段の食事をずっと楽しむのではなく、
    数日は安価な食事を楽しんで、１日だけでも奮発して懐石料理や高級なおまかせ寿司を体験してもらいたいです。
    本来の和食体験ができると思います。
    ちなみにお二人が日本のカレーが好きだったら、是非「スープカレー」を試してみて欲しいです。
