【A Balcony View That Stopped Me in My Tracks】 I stayed at “Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu,” a stunning city hotel in Minato Mirai — one of Yokohama’s most iconic waterfront districts, just under an hour from central Tokyo. I booked a 22nd-floor “Yokohama Floor” Twin Park View room (38 sqm) for under 20,000 yen — and it far exceeded my expectations.
Every room comes with a private balcony, and from mine, I had an unobstructed, front-row panorama of the entire Minato Mirai skyline — including the famous Cosmo Clock 21 Ferris wheel. The contrast of Landmark Tower glowing in the distance against the twinkling city lights below was simply breathtaking.
The blue-themed interior reflects Yokohama’s sea, with premium amenities including a ReFa hairdryer and the “Shōleyard” skincare line — Japan’s first fragrance brand. Breakfast at “Café Tosca” (4,500 yen/person) featured a live kitchen omelet station and a rare Hokkaido black soybean natto that I never expected to find. For sightseeing, the Cup Noodles Museum is just a 7-minute walk away, and the free rooftop of Yokohama World Porters offers a stunning hidden-gem view of the Ferris wheel up close.

東急系は 全体的におしゃれなホテルが多いですよね。 みなとみらい からだと渋谷まで電車で1本で行けるという便利なのも👍
あとは…あぶない刑事の舞台なので あの2人が出てきそうな気がします(笑)

2년 전 도쿄 가는 김에 요코하마까지 갔다 온 기억이 나는 영상이네요. 그 때는 요코하마에 실물크기 건담도 있어서 그것도 보고 아카렌 구경도 하고 라면 박물관도 보고 놀이공원에서 롤러코스터도 타고 차이나 타운에서 맛있는 것도 먹고 참 좋았습니다. 하지만 놀랍게도 가장 맛있었던 건 항구 근처 공원 카페에서 팔던 소프트 아이스크림이었어요 ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ
아마 여름 휴가 때 도쿄 갈 것 같은데 그 때 요코하마 들러야겠습니다. 오늘도 좋은 영상 잘 보고 갑니다.

The frame park opposite the hotel looks compact, but it looks fun from the outside!
Never expect Instant Noodle has its own museum! The offer of making your own brand noodle, is a very smart commercial idea!

I am considering spending 2 nights in Yokohama next March, and if I get a similar price, I will go with this hotel. So thank you very much for the recommendation. The roof garden at World Porters is also a great tipp. What would you recommend to visit with 1,5 days in Yokohama ? Definitely Chinatown, and maybe the Cup Noodle museum (is it different enough to the ramen museum in Shin-Yokohama ? We have already visited there).

Hello and thanks for the amazing video!! And wow, this hotel is quite a precious gem with that warm and spacious lobby…and a room that's quite a precious surprise: spacious, warm, well equipped and with that pretty balcony that gives view to the full bay and the amusement park under it!! And that stroll into Yokohama at dust was really amazing, with the cherry blossoms and enjoying the calm…before diving into the dinner!! I never heard about doria, but looking it has cheese surely I'll enjoy it the day I'd be able to eat it…and the way back to the hotel after was great, with all the building well lighted and creating a great scene!! The breakfast also looked delicious with all the wonderful selection of dishes to grab energy for the start of the day…and to visit the Instant Noodle Museum, that surely look funny to visit and learn more about something that saved a lot of people for hunger… and as you say, we have to deeply thank Mr. Momofuku for inventing it!! And you could make your own Noodle cup?? Wooooow, that's the ribbon on top!! Love from Spain 🇪🇦🧡
