I Explored The Most Dangerous Towns In NORTH CAROLINA – What I Actually Saw Surprised Me
I visited these North Carolina towns: Lumberton, Pembroke & Laurinburg. Later in the video, Nicole and I visited Fayetteville, home to Fort Bragg, the USA’s largest military base.

Lumberton, NC is where Blue Velvet (1986 film by David Lynch) takes place.
No body out . , Saturday. . Where 😮 r all these people. . Not money 🤑. People can live together. Better than my . City. . People should love each other. .
Hey Joe,enjoy your tours of the US. A couple of criticisms though; when your camera pans past an old truck or car or an old locomotive or something else that stands out as being unusual, you never acknowledge it. You are obviously interested in the era/ style of architectural structures and that is often interesting, but it can get a tad monotonous, every town, and with buildings that do have a similarity that doesn’t make them extraordinary? Also same with unusual geological things, or plants, animals. Little interesting facts that break the predictability, of each video?
Plot twist Lumberton makes up that its crime ridden to keep out new folk
Hey Nic. Hi there. Can you get Joe a thesaurus so he can look up alternatives to 'nice'. Lol
Very interesting video. Interesting cities, some new, some not so new anymore.
Greetings from Northern Germany 🙂
Either your information was erroneous or things have changed and that fact hasn't reached the "radar"
yet. That town (Lumberton) looks nicer than most any town one might see anywhere in the US!
Gracias amigo 👋
Joe. I'm telling Nicole you are seeing that other woman. 😧💃 I saw you with that Blonde @20:57!!
How could you do that?! Nicole is such a wonderful woman and you should be asha…Oh, Hi Nicole. 😊
Uh, never mind Joe…🤣😂😉✌🥰😇 ❤LOVE your adventures, You Two!! ❤ 🏫🏛🏚🏠🏡🏢
I was a retail store manager at Roses, the largest retailer in the South before Walmart, needless to say I have a few stories. But, I I had guns pulled on me twice. Once in Miami and the second time in Charlotte.
What about maiden newton? How far from town to maiden newton?
Does everyone in US live in wooden houses? 😂 Thats all you ever see in these off the beaten track areas. Must cause big maintenance issues?
I guess the town of Lumberton has littering under control. Robbery, assaults, and murder not so much.
A lot of private colleges around the country are closing or in danger of closing. Tuition prices (especially for private colleges) are so high that most students can’t afford to go pricey small schools. And with birth rates going down since 2008 (this years freshmen were born in 2008) theres goimg to be less college age kids for colleges.
Let me just say this I’ve lived in Robeson county all my life and even though people are saying we are dangerous to live in I’ve never felt any danger in Lumberton or Pembroke where I live, I hear of crime in our county and I was a social worker for over twenty years and traveled every town and rural area in this county and never felt any danger no matter where I was, my job was dangerous due to the types of investigations I did, but I’m retired now and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else, my neighborhood is so safe that I hardly even lock my doors, so I don’t care if our cities ever grow any bigger because of statistics of crime I’m 63 years old and never been witnessed to any crime. It’s all about where you hang out and natives know where to go and where not to go. As you saw our towns are very clean and no shootings in our streets and I walk a lot and never carry my gun with me. To me this two cities are the safest place to live way more than those big cities you showed or talked about…
You forgot to mention at that Market house slaves where bought and sold and Fayetteville is a much more dangerous place to live than Pembroke or Lumberton I don’t care what your statics say I’m a native and I know!!!
73 bucks for that food was robbery….. but again it is a military town so you get taxed for that….. there are waaaaay better food options ( some likely in those towns you went thru)….. if you ever come back to nc i highly suggest making a stop thru a small town called lexington to get some pulled pork BBQ…… i know texas has some great BBQ but nobody does pulled pork better than lexington (home of the BBQ festival)
JUSTICE FOR MICA!!!
I live in Lumberton for a while.. moved to Fayetteville. It is the same to me. I am good.. still got family there.😊
That is where the money go,… not Lumberton.😮
Michael Jordan’s father was not killed in Lumberton. He drove on 74/76 from Wilmington to I-95. On the entrance ramp to I-95 south he pulled over to take a nap. He got killed sleeping in the car.
Michael Jordan is from Wilmington. And he went through high school here before going to college. He was a major phenomenon even in high school school.
I live in Wilmington NC.
The “market house” you spoke of selling goods was the nice way of putting it. People were bought and sold here.
