【ひらめきツアー】新潟県松之山温泉の凌雲閣さんへ
新潟県の豪雪地域でもある十日町市にある松之山温泉の凌雲閣に、真冬に訪れました。当日は暖かく雨模様の中、まずはコシヒカリで有名な南魚沼の関農園さんで、おむすびの朝食、山の湯でひと風呂浴びて、へぎそば由屋さんで昼食、十日町市街の雪の壁を進み、松之山温泉へ到着、源泉と不動の滝を見て、凌雲閣さんに到着。
凌雲閣さんの魅力は建物そのものが魅惑的、1938年創建の木造三階建てで、昭和初期の職人技が残る内装と各部屋の匠の技。そして豪雪と地震を耐え抜いた雪国建築で、2005年に登録有形文化財となり、日本秘湯を守る会の名宿にもなっている松之山温泉の歴史と文化を象徴する旅館です。
特にその温泉は高温で塩化物泉特有の塩パック作用で、湯上がり後も体が冷めにくく、日本三大薬湯としても有名です。そしてここ凌雲閣さんの温泉は源泉かけ流しで、淡いエメラルドグリーンの色合いが最高です。今回は旅館から人がいない場合に限り、撮影のご了解をいただき奇跡的に宿泊当日２回と、翌日２回の合計4回共に誰にも会わずに温泉を独泉することに成功しました。今回はそのエメラルドグリーンの温泉の中にも潜入し、肉眼では絶対に見ることの出来ない温泉世界をお届け出来ます。ぜひ温泉の幻世界に浸り、癒されていただければ幸いです。

Located in Tokamachi City, Niigata Prefecture, a region known for its heavy snowfall, Ryounkaku Inn’s charm lies in the building itself. Built in 1938, this three-story wooden structure retains the craftsmanship of the early Showa period, with its interior and the exquisite artistry of each room. A snow country building that has withstood heavy snow and earthquakes, it was registered as a Tangible Cultural Property in 2005 and is a renowned inn belonging to the Japan Association for the Preservation of Secret Hot Springs, symbolizing the history and culture of Matsunoyama Onsen.
In particular, its hot spring water is high-temperature and, due to the salt pack effect characteristic of chloride springs, the body stays warm long after bathing, making it famous as one of Japan’s three great medicinal hot springs. Furthermore, Ryounkaku Inn’s hot spring water is free-flowing from the source, and its pale emerald green color is simply superb. This time, we were granted permission to film only when no one was present, and miraculously, we succeeded in enjoying the hot springs alone a total of four times—twice on the day of our stay and twice the following day—without encountering anyone. This time, we delve into the emerald green water, and we can present a world of the hot springs that you absolutely cannot see with the naked eye.
