We decided to road trip this time back in Korea and it was the best decision! From biking through nature to checking out Koreaโ€™s iconic rest stops, this trip was all about slowing down and exploring at our own pace. We stayed a night in Chuncheon and had to try its famous dakgalbiโ€”spicy stir-fried chicken cooked right at your table. Woke up early the next day to experience Nami Island before the crowdsโ€ฆ and it was 100% worth it. Renting with Lotte Rent-a-Car made everything super easy, so we could just enjoy the journey.

    The 3rd side dish for Note's food at the rest stop looks like acorn jelly with cucumber mixed in Korean style spices. Next time if you guys get a chance, please try the rest stop potatoes. They are sooo good. They are my favorite rest stop snack! And you can usually only get them rest stops, so it's a kind of popular travel snack. ๐Ÿ˜‹

    Enjoy Korea as you expected. As a Korean Canadian, I recommend you to visit my hometown province Jeolanamdo, where is known for its gastronomy. Jirisan Mt., which is the second highest in South Korea, where you can enjoy douzens of pure herbal bibimbaps. Yeosu Dolsan, where you can try typical local Gotkimchi with various fresh seafood. Suncheonman, the UNESCO registered huge mud field.
    Goheung peninsula, where you can enjoy fresh seashells and seafood.
    I am sure you'll love there.
