今回は埼玉県本庄市を歩きました。

かつての宿場町 本庄。
街に残る昭和らしい風景を求めて散策をしました。

観光地ではない日常の街並みや、地域の歴史を感じられる場所、時代の流れとともに変わりゆく風景を散策しながらその記録をしています。

I document townscapes and local scenery where traces of the Showa era still remain.
This time, I walked through Honjo City in Saitama Prefecture—this is the first part of a two-part series.

Once a post town, Honjo still retains scenes that reflect the Showa era, which I set out to find as I walked through the city.

I explore and record everyday streets that are not tourist destinations, places where local history can be felt, and landscapes that continue to change with the passage of time.
