  1. Interesting they have a Gate on this Chapel area at point 52:45, the last time I went on the bridge in 1993 that gate wasn't there, fully open and free to roam around as you wanted.

  2. Love the sound of the traffic at the very beginning in front of the water. I wouldn’t mind standing or sitting around there for a long while ♥️🌊🚙🛻🚗

  3. It is so wonderful to revisit Avignon through your lens! 🌿 I visited here years ago and still wear a sterling silver necklace I bought in the town. Watching you start that long walk up the stone stairs to the Palais des Papes brought it all rushing back—I had completely forgotten just how incredibly massive and imposing those sheer fortress walls are as they tower over you on the climb up! It really makes you feel so small stepping into all that history. It also brought back such vivid memories of exploring the inside, marveling at that giant medieval hearth in the Grand Cuisine, and learning how they used to set up temporary wooden trestle tables for those massive papal banquets! Thank you for taking me back up to the Rocher des Doms to look out over the river and the broken bridge again. Such a beautifully smooth, peaceful walking tour! 💛
