Fit flush latches on drawers and cabinets to stop them from flinging open on rough roads. Also, mount a fire extinguisher and a first-aid box within easy reach.

The entire space below the mattress springs can be made into storage space. Create a storage compartment about 6" thick. On top of it, mount the mattress springs on plywood with a hinge so it opens like the engine hood.

Is the ground clearance going be ok for your adventures, you mentioned suspension upgrades but do you intend to get the truck lifted?
We have lived and travelled FT in a 5.99m Motorhome across Europe/Asia for just under 10 years… IMHO I think within 18 months you will have to rethink it and/or redesign this completely. Space, roof, windy weather and seals… Good Luck…🙏

If the current height is just nice for the 40ft HQ container, beware if you replace with AT tyre and jack up the suspension later, the eventual total height maybe taller than the container height.

I think a normal motorhome would have been better. It all looks a bit flimsy and short of room. Probably cost a lot less , but it looks it!!

Looking good. Not as much storage as Trudy had, but hopefully you can make it work. Did you get heat installed for colder climates? I remember Chris said that was a “whoops” moment, as you thought it would have been installed, but they don’t need it in Malaysia.
