⁴ᴷ Aichi: Toyohashi Station (愛知県: 豊橋駅) – Japan Walking Tour (February, 2026)
It’s still a bit chilly, so I’ve decided to head west in search of warmer weather and travel all the way around Kyushu. While there are direct ferries from the Kanto area, I chose to drive to Osaka first and then take a ferry across the Seto Inland Sea to Shin-Moji Port.
My first stop is Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture. Being a Saturday night, the entertainment district is buzzing with energy. I decided to start my walk after sunset from the West Exit of the station—a change of pace from my usual starts at the East Exit. I was pleasantly surprised by the classic “station-front” atmosphere of the West Exit; it has a wonderful vibe that I hadn’t fully appreciated before.
