中国旅行19:中国中部の魅力的な宝の街:山西省宝鶏市
Welcome to the heart of western China. If you are planning to travel or have traveled to China, you may be familiar with the city of Xi’an, often referred to as the birthplace of Chinese civilization. It is one of the oldest cities in China and has served as the capital for numerous ancient dynasties. However, today we shall explore a lesser-known city, frequently referred to as the “Little Xi’an”.
In this episode, we delve into downtown Baoji, a hidden gem nestled in the Qinling Mountains of Shaanxi Province — a city that is even older than Xi’an, boasting over 3,200 years of history.
Please join Roderick and Michelle as we explore the vibrant Chencang Ancient Street, discover local delicacies such as the famous local “Big Lele” yogurt, Flatbread with lamb soup, traditional Chinese biscuits, and uncover the railway roots that transformed Baoji from a sleepy town into a vital transport hub. From ancient bronze artifacts to soul-warming local cuisines and lively street markets, Baoji offers a rich tapestry of culture, heritage, and heart. Let’s uncover the stories, tastes, and warmth of this deeply underrated city — together!

Vblog was miss out for many months
Thanks for sharing. We met my sister-in-law's aunt in Xi'an and then took the bullet train to Baoji to meet another aunt. We also visited cousins in nearby Long County. The Bronze Museum was very interesting. I always enjoy meeting people while traveling in China.
