Welcome to Gourette, a small mountain resort in the heart of the French Pyrenees.
Our journey began in Pau and took us through winding mountain roads, small towns, and breathtaking landscapes before reaching this hidden alpine destination.
Founded in 1907, Gourette is one of the oldest ski resorts in the Pyrenees. Today, it offers around 40 km of ski slopes, majestic mountain views, and a peaceful escape from the city.
In winter, it’s all about skiing and snow-covered peaks. In summer, the mountains turn green and attract hikers and cyclists, especially near the legendary Col d’Aubisque — one of the iconic climbs of the Tour de France.
