日本の隠れ里巡り!「大内宿」
Ouchi-juku (pronounced like “ooo chi ju koo” is a unique historic post town of Japan near the samurai famous town of Aizuwakamatsu. Built in the 1600’s, the town has retained its authentic look and feel as the towns people adhere to their charter which states “Don’t sell. Don’t rent. Don’t tear down.” So what you see today is largely what the town looked like hundreds of years ago. Come along for this tour of one of Japan’s hidden gems in our off the beaten path Japan walks.
Our family has 164 years of continuous history in Japan starting with my wife’s great great grandparents who arrived in Japan in 1861. Who better than us to help you discover the hidden gems of Japan!

Great video as always🎉
Yay, a new video from you guys! I really enjoyed watching it. Would you ever consider making a video with your wife speaking Japanese? I always enjoy seeing her interact with locals in your videos.
So happy to see another video from you both! We came back from our Japan trip and adored it, we even visited Noboribetsu that you mentioned in your video! Would love to visit somewhere like this too, looks like stepping back in time ♥️
Awesome video. Can't wait to visit!
