キャラバンで行くタスマニア州デロレイン | ミアンダー川、サーモン養殖場、シルクタペストリーツアー

Join us as we explore the beautiful town of Deloraine, Tasmania while caravaning through northern Tasmania. We camped beside the stunning Meander River, with our caravan parked right on the riverbank, green grass underfoot, trees all around and the water shimmering in the sun. We even took the drone up for a bird’s-eye view of this peaceful riverside setting, with the nearby train line quietly passing in the distance.
From Deloraine we took a scenic drive toward Mole Creek, where we stumbled across a truffle farm (not in season yet, but still fun to visit), and then headed to the famous 41 Degrees South Salmon and Ginseng Farm. We joined a tour, fed the salmon (with eels and ducks trying to sneak in on the action!), walked to a nearby waterfall and of course did the salmon tasting — leaving with some delicious spices and big smiles.
To finish our stay, we visited the Deloraine Information Centre and Great Western Tiers Visitor Centre, where we toured the museum and admired the incredible Deloraine Silk Tapestry. The tapestry beautifully tells the story of the region — from the mountains and rivers to the people, farming, industry and history that shaped this special place. Walking through the museum and seeing old tools, photos and displays really gave us a deeper appreciation for Deloraine and its past.
This video is a relaxed travel journal of caravan life in Tasmania — combining nature, food, history and small-town charm. Deloraine surprised us in the best way, and it’s a place we’d happily return to.
