    Hello Charlie & Michelle !!! What a beautifull place Conques ❤ the abbey is absolutely fantastic and all the beautifull houses with their unique roofs . You did a long walk in the city and everywhere had a peaceful atmosphere sorrounded with lovely flowers and plants . Great to know there are also swifts in Conques here we have them living in the Iguazú waterfalls , they have their nests behind the wall of water and go through it for food a great spectacle . Really friends a great trip . Have a beautifull week and a big hug for both.

    This is more than a travel video, it feels like a visual meditation. Conques almost seems unreal, like a preserved fairytale resisting modern chaos. But I wonder, does tourism slowly change that magic over time?

    Wow friend, I was so enchanted with this journey that I was glued to the screen and definitely pounded the Hype button. We took our girls on a Tour De France around the entire border looking for quaint old towns. We misses this Conques 1,000-year-old Romanesque treasure, so I am so tickled that you brought me here and took such great care giving me such a charming and peaceful tour. It definitely makes the Dourdou gorge shine being such a gem and holding such gems in the museum..lol I can imagine being on a pilgrimage and seeing this down and feeling so blessed and it being such a nice stop being able to enjoy the enchanted old houses to the UNESCO cloister Abbey of Sainte-Foy that was truly remarkable with the glowing golden walls. It felt like Mont St Michel with its similar columns and the scaredness of its wall. I love that you found all the hidden balcony amazing views of the city and Abbey. The text you share for gems that gave us extra tidbits to enjoy like the ancient questions of what were the through originally, the arches and lauze stone roofs, the tub, and jewels in the museum. The invite to buy you coffee which I am working on. The birds freering us and the Abbey bells with your quiet footsteps were amazing that they held me so at rapture without music. Enjoying the inside of the Abbey, and seeing the hospital, and the amazing vista views. Walking the city walk and enjoying the 15th-century craft armorer’s house was delightful. Then the gift of the summer blooms of stunning hydrangeas was such a nice final farewell to this incredible place. It was a pleasure to join you here. Thank you for such a gift 🎁.
