Tokyo, Japan Day 3- Harry Potter Tour / Godzilla Head #JmGeeTravel
Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter (Tokyo)
This is Japan’s major immersive Harry Potter experience — and it’s not a generic “ride-based” theme park, but a behind-the-scenes tour showcasing real film sets, props, and movie magic.
✨ What you can do:
Walk through iconic movie sets like the Great Hall, Diagon Alley, Platform 9¾, Ministry of Magic, and the Forbidden Forest.
See real costumes, props, and filming effects used in the Harry Potter movies.
Participate in hands-on interactive zones — e.g., broomstick flying, green-screen experiences, and Quidditch filming.
Enjoy themed cafes, Butterbeer, and collectible merchandise shops.
📍 Location: Nerima, Tokyo (inside the former Toshimaen amusement park site).
🕒 Duration: ~3–4 hours to fully explore everything.
🎟 Tickets: Must be purchased in advance online; they are NOT sold at the entrance.
💡 Tip: Weekdays and early morning slots are less crowded.
Godzilla Head
The Godzilla Head is a giant sculpture of Godzilla’s head perched on the 8th-floor terrace of the Shinjuku Toho Building in the Kabukichō entertainment district of Tokyo.
It’s about 12 meters (≈39 ft) tall and weighs around 80 tons — roughly life-size based on the monster’s height in the Showa era films.
The statue was installed in 2015 to celebrate Godzilla’s legacy and to mark the opening of the modern complex that includes cinema, shops, and the Hotel Gracery Shinjuku.
