Bellagio sits on the tip of a slender peninsula where the three branches of Lake Como meet—why it’s called “The Pearl of the Lake.” From Milan, take a train to Varenna-Esino or Como S. Giovanni and connect by ferry/boat to Bellagio, or drive the scenic lakeside roads.
