Asakusa’s Neighbor: Kuramae, Tokyo | Cafes, Crafts, Stationery | JAPAN TRAVEL VLOG
Kuramae is just a short distance from Asakusa and is known as a town of craftsmanship. We enjoyed exploring the cafes while soaking in the atmosphere of handmade crafts throughout the streets. In Asakusa, we took part in a traditional event for the first time. Enjoy the charm of both Kuramae’s calm streets and Asakusa’s lively atmosphere.

Thank you for sharing beautiful and relaxed Kuramae with us Mei-san ! I had never heard of Kuramae before, and what I see in your video is really nice. I especially like the place where you had lunch and the tea shop (I love green tea). And the book shop also looks amazing. I realize, that even after several trips to Tokyo, I have not seen many wonderful places there.
Thank you for sharing! I’m coming to Japan in March and I want to explore this area! 😊
