On a clear winter day, I went to Ashigakubo in Yokoze Town, Saitama Prefecture, to see the icicles.
The moment I emerged from the tunnel, a “snow country-like landscape” and the murmuring of the Yokoze River unfolded before me.
This walking trail is a delight for nature lovers and street enthusiasts, filled with little discoveries along the way.
As dusk approached, I leisurely strolled along the snowy road to the icicle venue.
Even though I’m close to Tokyo, I felt like I was in a faraway northern land.
A Laview limited express train passed by nearby.
Train enthusiasts rejoice!
The only sound is natural sounds recorded on-site.
