Compared to the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, Nikko feels like another world. It’s quiet, it’s peaceful and it’s so beautiful, especially now with fall foliage.

We took the Tobu SpaciaX Train from Asakusa and spent 3 days exploring Nikko’s cultural sites like the famous Tosho-gu Shrine, hiking in Nikko National Park and checking out many of its gushing waterfalls.

A few days in nature is what the soul needed!
Well worth the trip!
