‘I was excited to shoot the super bloodmoon as the forecast was perfect. So I dragged myself out of bed in the morning, scraped the ice of my car windows and drove to a lake in my hometown. It was freezing at – 8C but witnessing the moon turn red kept me and my friends warm. As my maximum zoom was only 200mm, I cropped the photo for instagram, but it would’ve been better to shoot it with at least a 400mm.’ Photography @michielpieters
