秋田県鹿角市にある尾去沢鉱山は、約1300年の歴史を持つ日本有数の鉱山です。
江戸時代には銅の一大産地として栄え、現在は観光坑道として公開されています。
実際に使われた坑道や作業風景の再現展示から、当時の鉱山労働や暮らしを体感でき、歴史好きや家族連れにもおすすめのスポットです。

Located in Kazuno City, Akita Prefecture, the Osarizawa Mine is one of Japan’s most prominent mines with a history spanning approximately 1,300 years.
It flourished as a major copper production site during the Edo period and is now open to the public as a tourist mine.
Visitors can experience the mining labor and daily life of the era through actual tunnels used in operation and recreated displays of work scenes, making it a recommended spot for history enthusiasts and families alike.
