シルクロードの中心地、サマルカンドで過ごす24時間!🇺🇿 I シーズン3、エピソード26
We arrive at the ancient heart of the Silk Road: Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Once one of the most powerful and influential cities on Earth, Samarkand tells the story of how civilizations, cultures, and ideas met and mixed across continents.
During Silk Road times, Samarkand was already a true melting pot of people, religions, and traditions, which made it one of the most renowned cities of the ancient world. Traders, scholars, and artisans passed through here, shaping a culture that still feels alive today.
In this video, we explore Samarkand beyond the monuments, from its deep history to everyday life, and we witness how traditional Uzbek bread (non) is made, using techniques passed down for generations.
Today, Samarkand is one of Central Asia’s most famous travel destinations, but beneath the tourism, the city still carries the spirit and charm of more than 2,000 years of history 🎬

Thing that I find curious is that in markets all over the Arabic and Persian world the trays of spices and fruits, everything really, are always perfectly full piled up in a little pyramid as if no one has bought anything.
