🌊 Omaezaki Coastline 🌊 The Omaezaki coastline is attractive for its beautiful scenery with clear blue waters and white sandy beaches. It is a great spot to spend a relaxing time listening to the sound of the waves. Omaezaki Coast is also home to the Omaezaki Lighthouse. This lighthouse has a beautiful pure white appearance that can be seen from afar, and blends beautifully with the surrounding scenery. From around the lighthouse, you can get a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean.
🏯 Takatenjin Castle 🏯 Takatenjin Castle, located close to Omaezaki, is a fortified castle ruin that played an important role during the Sengoku period. Located at the top of a mountain, it’s not only a place where you can get a great view, but also a place where you can feel the history. Takatenjin Castle is known as the place where the battle between the Tokugawa and Takeda clans took place, and when you visit, you can feel the breath of the Sengoku warlords of that time. During the Sengoku period, this castle was the site of a fierce battle. The Takeda clan, who were besieged in the castle, were left isolated and without any reinforcements, and offered to surrender, but this was not allowed. They were forced to prepare for death and charged with their entire army, which was almost completely wiped out.
