館鼻岸壁朝市は青森県八戸市で毎週日曜に開かれる、日本最大級の朝市の一つです。
夜明けとともに約300店が岸壁沿いに並び、新鮮な魚介類や郷土料理、焼き立てパン、手作り雑貨など多彩な魅力にあふれています。
2025年12月に発生した地震の影響で一時は開催への不安もありましたが、安全確認と対策を重ね、港町の活気と笑顔を取り戻しつつあります。
復興への思いが感じられる朝市は、今も多くの人を惹きつけています。
1日に2万人以上訪れることも多いため、朝4時半の比較的人が少ない時間から撮影を行いました。

The Tatehana Quay Morning Market, held every Sunday in Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture, is one of Japan’s largest morning markets.
At dawn, approximately 300 stalls line the quay, brimming with diverse attractions including fresh seafood, local cuisine, freshly baked bread, and handmade goods.
Although concerns arose about its continuation following the earthquake that struck in December 2025, repeated safety checks and countermeasures have been implemented, gradually restoring the port town’s vitality and smiles.
This morning market, where the spirit of recovery is palpable, continues to draw many visitors today.
As it often attracts over 20,000 visitors per day, filming began at 4:30 AM, a time when crowds are relatively sparse.

しばれる中での撮影をありがとうございます。初めて聞く朝市で4時半からの開設とは旅人には有難い情報です。「湯気がいい感じ過ぎる」と言う時に手にしていたのは蒟蒻でしょうか、益々興味深いです。八戸に行くことがあれば必ず立ち寄ります🤗

昨年12月7日の日曜日に舘鼻岸壁朝市に訪れました。本八戸に前泊しJRの始発・舘鼻岸壁朝市号で訪れましたが、それでももう車はぎっしりで人もたくさんいました。いちご煮やウニご飯、生カキ、もずく天、牛肉コロッケ、甘酒…。朝から食べまくり、買い込んで食べ切れなかった海鮮ナポリタン、マカロニサラダ、メンチカツは昼食になりました。長芋やキノコ、干物なども買いたかったんですが、翌日まで旅行の予定があり持ち運べそうにないので諦めました。翌日の夜１１時過ぎに群馬県に戻り、最寄駅から車で自宅に向かう途中に地震警報が鳴りました。八戸付近が大変だったことを帰宅後のニュースで知り心配していましたが、活気のある姿が見られて一安心です。今年も再び訪れたいと思います。
