Rainy Nature Walk in Green Daisen Forest | Kofu, Japan 4K
Walking in heavy rain along wet trail by river through lush forest in Tottori, Japan. This is one of the most beautiful forests I have had the privilege of walking, with its beech trees and ferns with a stream babbling over rocks on its way down the slope of Mt. Daisen. There are also some interesting manmade waterfalls and ponds of unknown purpose, but they look nice. I only wish the trail was longer. Today I walked up and down the trail, and around too. If it wasn’t raining I could have squeezed through the foliage to extend the walk, but with the umbrella in hand it wasn’t possible.

Beautiful in spite of the rain! And the wind! Thank you so much for getting wet again, it was truly magical. If I lived near I would walk this trail every day it’s so lovely. ☺️ Each time you chanced upon another walker I was expecting them to be in traditional dress, it was so bewitching a place I felt like you had walked back into time gone by.
