My mom side is from Louisa Ky, I brought my German wife to meet family, my wife is English fluent and I would have to translate for some of my family. They are so sweet and asked me in private can she understand English because she would look like a dear in the headlights when they spoke. I told them its your accents throwing her off. Hell I can barely understand them some times. 🤣
It’s crazy that you appear safer in other countries. No other country did you say “I have to be careful because I could get shot for driving through” Land of the free to shoot each other.

I have watched a lot of your videos. I was pretty disappointed with how you treated the people in this video. Going into homes and rolling your eyes, not perceiving that man was developmentally disabled, squawking about how dangerous and daring it is for you to venture into Kentucky? Drew, c’mon, man! I’ve seen you in Yemen! And you know these people will watch the video, and see that they are the object of derision and scorn. And KFC tasting better in Corbin than anywhere else? Give me a break. Ever heard of CHAIN RESTAURANTS? I really think you were unfair and unkind in this one. Sorry.

Similar story here in north east england. Lots of towns and villages were mining communities, and when the mines were shut down, everywhere started going downhill. The communities are strong but there are few opportunities and crime can be high.

Honestly Eastern Ky is kne of the safest places probably left in America. Ive always felt safe her, walking in the mountains alone, going anywhere by myself, idk people arent really mean here, a lot of them are ignorant yes but when they meet people from different walks of life, they are pretty open to them, i mean thats just my experience. Just stay away from the drugs and those kind of dealings and youre pretty ok.
