【九州車中泊】村を助けたうつろのカツラの木を探す50代男性【廃村探索】福岡県・二見ヶ浦 海中大鳥居
What is this place? A happiness prayer observation deck? It’s too much of a hassle to climb. Hello, everyone. This is Ito from Wakayama Mon TV. I’m in Fukuoka Prefecture today. Continuing my Kyushu car camping trip, I’d like to visit an abandoned village called Utsuro. There’s a website called Murakage Yataro’s Village Travelogue, and according to the information there, there’s a giant Katsura tree that saved the village, so I’d like to go and find it. Apparently , the Utsuro Katsura tree in the Utsuro district is a designated natural monument . This Katsura tree saved the village. Large vehicles are not allowed on the road. So, there’s Reiganji Temple in Ochanosato Park. Yeah. It still seems like a long way to go. Shall we go by car? My card was inserted. Expiration date. Yeah. That road looks a bit like it. Maybe a house or a warehouse. No, thank goodness I didn’t walk. It’s quite far. Oh, they’re doing some farming here, too. Such beautiful tea fields. This is tea, right? I wonder if they could put a fan in the tea fields. There’s a sign saying “Road Closed for Vehicles.” The road is closed due to a collapsed shoulder. I’ll walk from here . It’s empty. This is a tea plantation. Well, I’ll go on foot without pulling over to the shoulder. Well, without a walking stick. Is it quite far? There are so many fallen leaves around here. It’s so beautiful up there, I guess it’s because it’s farmed. Something’s wrong with the shoulder. Maybe I’ll find it if I walk towards the electric pole. There are so many birds chirping. It must be around here. The shoulder is dangerous. Wow. That mountain over there is incredible. The rocks are incredible. No, the mirror is incredible. This is huge. There’s a pylon up there. Is there a fire? It’s echoing. I saw these fruits earlier too . Wait, it’s downhill from here, but have we passed it yet? Was I supposed to take a side road somewhere? Should I go a little further? There’s a guardrail, but the electric pole is gone . Oh, there’s a wild boar. It’s digging something up. What is that? A shrine? Oh, it is a shrine. Maybe it’s a Jizo statue? So it must be the entrance . This Buddha is scary. Excuse me. I’ve been going all the way down, what’s going on? Hey, that’s strange. It can’t be like this. There are no electric poles. Ah, but there is a guardrail. There are stakes here. It looks a little withered, maybe they planted saplings there. It’s a little hollow, nothing. Maybe there was somewhere to climb? Shall we go back? I went back to the pylon from before, but I think I’ll try climbing up a little higher. No, I got high, but the trees block my view . Maybe there’s a nice house over here too. Those stone walls look suspicious. Maybe they’ve been swallowed up by the grass? Maybe they won’t be visible until they dry up a bit more. No, but maybe I should plant it properly. Oh, I went back to the car. Well, this area is already deserted. There’s a shrine nearby. Maybe I should take a look around here instead. The hut is a bit weird. Are they trying to replace the tiles ? Is this a wild boar trap? This looks like a path. Should I climb up? No, I’ve come a little way . It looks like a work road. There’s a road over there. There ‘s another route. Maybe I should go a little further this way too. Ah, maybe a persimmon. It looks like a persimmon. There it is, somewhere. Is this the farm work area? Oh, is it the roof of the barn where the farm work is done? Yeah. It’s a dead end here. These are the rice terraces where I borrowed my tricycle. Oh, it’s famous for its rice terraces. It says Yabe no Tana. The roof looks nice. But I wanted to see the kara tree here. It’s not a katsura tree. There’s no shrine here. Oh , maybe there isn’t one. But I wonder if it’s okay to go through, it’s huge . Those old guys from before are backlit. Yeah. They’re engulfed in grass. What’s that writing? It’s… ah, I don’t know. Maybe it’s a beehive. This Futagaura is a scenic spot, symbolized by a large torii gate standing in the Genkai Sea and a pair of rocks tied together with a sacred rope . It’s a sacred place enshrined as Uramiya of Sakurai Shrine, and is said to bring good luck in matchmaking and marital harmony. It’s also a spectacular spot selected as one of Japan’s 100 best sunsets. As far as the eye can see, I’m the only person out there alone. It feels a little awkward. (Maybe I’m the only Japanese person there, too.) What is this place? Is it a happiness prayer observation deck? It’s too much of a hassle to climb. I’ve already visited six interesting places in Fukuoka Prefecture. First up is Tsumura Island. And although I wasn’t able to see the Thirteen Buddhas of the Shime Mine Shaft Tower, the last thing I saw was the underwater torii gate and the Meoto Iwa rocks at Sakurai Shrine. Thank you for watching. The next episode of our Kyushu car camping trip will be in Saga Prefecture. If you’re interested, please subscribe to our channel. Until next time.

今回は廃村空室(うつろ)にあるというカツラの木を探しにと定番スポットである二見ヶ浦に行っています。桜井二見ヶ浦には海中大鳥居と夫婦岩があり日本の夕日100選として有名です。
