Tokyo DisneySea Day 3: Vacation Package & Disneyland Hotel Grand Park View Check-in! 🇯🇵
[Music] Good morning and welcome to day three of Tokyo
Disney. It is our second day at Disney Sea today. So, we’re super excited to explore more
of the park. There’s so much we didn’t get to see yesterday, so we’re hoping we can get as much
in as possible today. I think we are going to prioritise Disney’s premier access. So come and
join us on this wonderful day full of fantasy. [Music] [Music] Coming down for breakfast on our last morning. Hello [Music] You paparazzi need to stop hounding me. Oh, wow. That’s pretty. Haven’t
seen in there before. [Music] [Music] It’s massive. I didn’t realise it was
this big. It’s huge. [Music] Thank you. Please enjoy. Thank you. Thank you. Look at the
watermelon carving with the logo. I went for the exact same thing as before, other
than I got melon and a croissant. Got some sushi. It’s the exact same food options as yesterday, there was no changes. I didn’t see other than
the croissant, I didn’t see that yesterday. He was handing them out in the bit we’re
sitting in rather than at the buffet. [Music] So as we’re moving to another Disney hotel, we can
request them to take our bags for us to the hotel, so we don’t need to come back midway through
the day and do the transfer. So to do that, you just order it on the TV. So if you
click on takeout meals and other services, click order from guest room TV and then you
scroll across to leave luggage in room upon checkout. For those staying at another Disney
hotel, your luggage will be delivered to the next hotel by around 3:00 p.m. and proceed.
Once you come to this screen, you go across to next Disney hotel you’ll be staying at.
Number of bags. So, we have one, two, three, four bags. Please select the available time for
pickup. So, we’ll do after 8:30 today. We don’t mind if they take it now, do we? No? No. And you
come down and you select the hotel you’re moving to. So, it has the whole list of hotels here. So,
we’re staying at the Disneyland Hotel next. So, we select that one, come down and click add
to cart. So, order process, thank you for your order. It’s all sorted. And then you can also
check out on the TV as well. So it saves you having to go down to reception and potentially
waiting in a long queue. So on the main screen, you just come across to the far right where it
says billing details and check out. So we have no outstanding balances. We’ve paid everything
in advance. So if you have anything there, just double check it’s correct. And then proceed
to check out once done. Click the yes button to complete the check out process. Check out is
complete. So then you return your key to the key drop box. And you can do that on either the first
or third floor of the lounge or the reception. It is sorcerer Mickey day. So cute. So I’ve
got my sorcerer Mickey ears. I got these in Disneyland Paris, but they do sell them here as
well I have seen. I have my Sorcerer Mickey tee, I got this from .. I got this from Amazon
actually. Quite surprised I saw it, went straight in the basket. Just some cute little linen stripey
shorts from Shein. Trusty comfy Primark trainers, they’re brilliant for parks. They’re so cheap,
really lightweight, really spongy. And then my little Donald Duck socks, which I got in the uh in
the store here at the hotel. So, a very blue and white day today. Sorcerer Mickey. I got this from
Etsy. It’s adorable. So, full-on Mickey day today. We’re checking out of the Fantasy Springs Hotel.
So sad. It’s a beautiful hotel. 100% recommend. If we come back, I’ll be staying here again. It’s
so nice. Give it 24 hours until she stays in the other hotel. The smell is just I think it’s
actually roses, not jasmine. I said jasmine the first day, but I think it is rose. It’s rose.
And it’s the most incredible smell ever. It’s so strong. It’s so nice. We’re just going to go
outside and show you the the Rose Court garden. It looks stunning. We’re just dropping off
the keys. So, these are the boxes that they have in reception. You just slide the keys in
there if you do your online checkout on the TV, which we did. Oh my god, I can already.. Oh my
god, I’m going to cry. No, hold it together. You can go one day without crying. That’s hot today.
Let me flip you around so you can see. So as you come out of the ..you come past reception, come
out of these double doors, you come into the garden where you’ve got the Beauty and the Beast
statue. Let me show you. It’s stunning. So this is the view we’ve had from our hotel room
which was up there. That’s where we stayed. Oh, they’ve even got the rose in the vase. Oh, you’ve got Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs.
Pots, Chip, and the wardrobe. I don’t know if she actually has a name. It’s just such a
nice little addition to the hotel. The fact, you can just come in, come down here, have a
little look. You can come down at night as well, and it is all lit up. And I don’t think this
room was much more than the standard room, but you do get a little glimpse of the park
as well from the hotel. So we could see Peter Pan’s top of Peter Pan’s area. We could see
Mount Prometheus and we could see the Tower of Rapunzel from our room. So very lucky.
So this section is only for Fantasy Springs Hotel guests. They don’t have an entrance from
the park directly. And you got this beautiful view from the veranda up here. Let me show you
where you can see down into Fantasy Springs. [Music] Oh, I’m going to miss this hotel. Look
at the chairs. Just detailing everywhere. We will be back, won’t we? Apparently! He loves it just as much as
me. He’s just trying to play it cool. That’s all. Yeah, he’s crying really off camera. Stop
staring at me. One final look. Bye hotel. So, we’re going to head down to
the park now for our early entry. So, you’ve got the lifts just on the left
hand side here, which you can go down. There’s only two, so they can get a little
busy. And you’ve got the stairs just here, which takes you straight down. And
then you head left to go into the designated entrance. So if you come down
the stairs, the entrance is just left here. And then you come through here. You’ll need
your proof of stay and your happy entry and you’ll go through security first. [Music]
Hello, Good Morning. Hello. Today & Today ok. Thank you. And just scan
the QR code. [Music] Super easy. And look how quiet it is. We’re going to
look at the 40th anniversary passes. So, we are going to go to the little stars. Click on
the 40th anniversary pass. Prioritise this one because it’s free. We’ll see what’s available.
So, select us both. Let’s do 20,000 leagues under the sea, we haven’t done that one. 40th
anniversary. So 10:25am is our return time. And then let’s look at the Disney Premier Access.
We’re going to try and get Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey because that one sells out so fast.
So you want to prioritise that one. [Music] Oh yeah do 11am. We can do that? Yeah. [Music] [Music] We just did raging spirits which is
just behind us. We walked past and it was posted as a zero minute wait. We joined
at 9:02am and then we got off at 9:16ish. So, we waited about 10-15 minutes. It’s exactly
the same as the Indiana Jones ride in Disneyland Paris. So, if you have ridden that before, you
can skip. We just wanted to see it just in case we didn’t know if it was the exact same or not.
We wouldn’t wait more than 10 minutes for it though. It’s a very short, very short ride.
So, on and off very quickly. I feel it was slightly shorter than uh the one in Paris. Yeah,
Paris does feel a bit longer actually, doesn’t it? But that was quite fun. That was our first
ride. It has woken us up in the morning. Yeah, it’s got flames coming out the side of parts of
the ride though. So, if it’s a hot day like today, Yeah. makes you extra toasty. We were right at the
front as well. So, you got like the full blast of the like the fireball. It was hot. So, when we
walked through Fantasy Springs this morning, it was so nice and quiet. That’s the perk of staying
in that hotel is you get direct access into Fantasy Springs. So, you can actually experience
it with barely anybody in there. So it’s a great opportunity to get all the photos and everything
that you want. It was lovely that time in the morning. And as we were walking out, the park
hadn’t even opened. It was 8:56am. Um, and the Tinkerbell Busy Buggies was 40 minutes already.
It’s a Tuesday. It seemed a bit quieter this morning when we first walked through, but the wait
times suggest otherwise. It’s currently 9:22am, so the park’s been open officially for 22 minutes.
Tower of Terror and Toy Story Mania are already a 100-minute wait. [Sneeze] Bless you. Thank
you. It’s very sunny. It’s very bright. Might need to put the Mickey’s on. Yeah. Oh my god,
this is stunning. This is the mermaid lagoon. Wow. Oh, Ariel. Nice little flounder and Sebastian
as well. That was so pretty. [Music] Oh my god, the detailing. [Music] This is cool. This bit’s amazing already. I mean, it’s so
pretty. Triton’s Kingdom. Let me show you. Oh my gosh, this is so nice. Oh my god, look at it. Oh my
gosh, this is absolutely amazing. This is amazing. If you’re
a kid or like me a big kid, I literally feel like I’m under the sea in like
King Triton’s Kingdom. And that’s what I love about Tokyo Disney is they fully immerse you
in the lands that you’re in. Like they go all out. It’s insane. [Music] There’s so much
to look at everywhere you look. Oh, wow. So pretty. So you got jumping
jellyfish. [Music] Wow. [Music] Okay, this is a walk on, so we might do this
one. Look how cute it is. [Music] Okay. Let me get James. I think I’m going to
do this one. It’s so cool. [Music] It literally just bounces you up and
down. It’s so cute. But look at the view. It’s so pretty. [Music] This is what the cast members do all the
time. They just wave. It’s so lovely. So cute. [Music] And they’ve got Ariel’s
playground in here as well. Oh my gosh, look at the
the octopus and everything. There’s just so much. It’s unbelievable. [Music]
The shell ice cream in here. Salt. The sea salt ice cream. Okay. So we might have to go and try
it because that is on my list. Is it too early for ice cream? It’s 9:43am. It’s never too early
for ice cream, right? Not when it’s 31°. It is so clever. It’s a whale. You walk into the mouth
of the whale and her eyes close and open. It’s so cool. And then and you can see her uvula if
that’s not what it’s called. I’m sorry. Little handbags and ears. Oh, the flounder ones.
I’ve never seen flounder ears before. Wow. 2,200 yen and Little Mermaid. So nice. We thought
we just show you around the Ariel’s playground. Oh my god. It’s like fully like suspended rope walkways. Oh my god. Look at this.
Is so cool. This is cute. [Music] This is so cool. It says, “Don’t shake the net.” I love it. Look at the view you get when
you’re at the top. [Music] You could spend a while here, actually. [Music] Where’s James? He’s multitasking. He’s
looking at our next our next ahh James just stood on the back of my trainer.
Hold on. Let me stand to the side. [Music] James just absolutely killed the back of
my ankle. Oh, fell down the hill there, too. This is not easy to do. So, there’s uh Scuttle Scooters, which is
a 20-minute wait. Okay. If you want to try that because it’s in the area. Yeah. While
we’re here, why not. It’s uh 9:50am. What was our thing 9:20? 10:25! Okay. So, potentially
could do that and then by the time we’re done, then we just have to walk over. There’s a little
um flounders roll. No, the exit’s that way. We’re going the wrong way completely. Oh no, there is
an exit this way. I think she’s the person that frustrates me. I’ve been walking in London and
then someone just stopped I’m just like hugging them all of a sudden. This is why I walk into the
back of her shoes all the time because she just stops. Please forgive my clumsiness. It’s a James
problem though. When you’re standing on my shoes, yeah, it means you’re too close
to me. It’s because I love you, I like to be close to you. Awwww. Yeah, I think
there’s a um Flounders little roller coaster here as well. So, could try that. Saw it yesterday.
It looked so fun. Again, all adults on it. So, we did jumping jellyfish, which is now a 20-minute
wait. Wow. And we pretty much walked on that, didn’t we? We only waited a couple of minutes.
The blowfish balloon race is 30 minutes. Yeah, that was quite a long wait for
that. The whirlpool is 15 minutes. Let’s have a look. Oh, Flounders Flying
Fish Coaster. That’s it. Yeah can do that, it’s a 20 minute wait. 20-minute wait? Yeah. Shall
we? I think I did see it’s over here. It’s up here in the left, I think. Okay. So, this is
Flounders Flying Fish Coaster. The wait is outside though with very little shade.
So, we entered the queue at 9:56am. It’s posted as a 20-minute wait. So, we’ll see
how long. That looks like a hidden Mickey. Air me out. For a kids ride this is pretty quick. [Applause] [Music] [Laughter] Completed it. That was it. It was 30 seconds.
Insane. But really cute. Oh, classic hard breaks. Wow, that is hot sitting out in the sun like this.
We were lucky enough to secure Dreams Take Flight, which is one of the shows I really want to see. If
you are looking to do one of the entry requests, I always recommend trying to book one of
the later shows because in the morning, everyone tries getting the earlier shows. So, I’d
always recommend going for one of the later ones. And we have been lucky each day, haven’t we? We’ve
managed to get Big Band Beat yesterday and then we got this one today. And we’ve had decent
seats. Yeah, we’ve had very good seats. So, the good thing with the shows, they do allocate
you a specific seat, so it makes it fair. So, you sort of get what you’re given. But,
I mean, all of the seats are brilliant, so, there’s no bad spot to sit really.
We are on the hunt to find a particular popcorn bucket that I want, which is free
with our Disney vacation package that we’ve got here with Tokyo. So, I’ve I’ve seen a
couple of people walking around with it, so I know you can get it here. James has been
researching for me this morning trying to find out which of the restaurants and stalls sell
them. So, we think we’ve found one. There’s only two in the park apparently? Two, okay. So,
and I think it sells out. And that’s the thing, they are sort of first come, first served. So,
with the popcorn voucher, you typically just get the standard vacation package one, which is
the blue one. I’m sure you have seen online if you’ve looked up the vacation packages. I’m
not too keen on that one, but you can ask to have a one of the nicer popcorn buckets, like the
themed ones, but you just pay the difference. So, it’ll be interesting to see how much more
they’re charging. So, we’ll let you know. Popcorn bucket secured. I got it from this little
stand, which is just outside of Mermaid Lagoon. We are heading into 20,000 leagues under
the sea with our free 40th anniversary pass. So, down here is the priority access entrance. They’ll just scan the QR
code on the phone. Thank you. [Music] It’s posted as a 25-minute wait. [Music] Oh [Music [Music] It’s quite a cool ride. Yeah. I had no expectation
of what it was. So, it’s like you go under the sea and uh you’re in like a little submarine, aren’t
you, that goes under the water? Yeah. Lianne only seemed to jump out of her skin twice. Oh my god.
Yeah. A big red/purple eel jumped out of the pot and I had no idea and it scared me. But yeah, you
probably heard me go ‘ah’ on the on the video. But no, it was a really fun ride.. Yeah, it’s cute,
isn’t it? Like it’s uh everyone talks about it so it’s worth doing. I would say if the queue was
over an hour, I might be like..”Yeah, I probably would.” Oh, yeah. .. not sure. If I’ve done it
once, I probably wouldn’t need to do it again sort of thing. Yeah. We’re in queue for over an hour,
but if it’s 20 minutes, I’d jump on it. Yeah. So, we’re just on our way over now for our Disney
Premier Access for Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey. I am so excited again to see this. We went on it
yesterday and I cried and it is my new favorite ride. It is incredible. So, I’m so excited
to see it again. We’re not going to take the camera with us this time. We’re just going to
sit and enjoy it. It’s on yesterday’s vlog if you want to watch the POV. It is amazing. And
just to note, so it’s currently, sorry, James, just smacked him in the head with the umbrella.
It’s currently 10:57am and all of the 40th anniversary passes have gone. There are none left.
Still blown away by this. It’s incredible. [Music] [Music] Do you know what? It’s the music
as well. That’s what makes it so amazing. We’ve just come into the snuggly duckling to
get some air con and some drinks. Rapunzel’s milk tea and it looks really cute. So again,
one you’ve got to mix. It was 800 yen… It would have been 800 yen. Yeah, we got these free
with our vacation package beverage vouchers. And that’s what it looks like when it’s mixed up.
We have no idea what it is, so we will give it a go. I’m going to let James try first. Hang on.
This should help the lactose intolerance. Yeah. It’s really…It tastes like beer
to me. Really? Just flat. Oh, lovely. That doesn’t sound appealing at all.
I mean, that might just be my taste buds, but like to me it has that you know that initial
if you take taste beer. Like that yeasty effect, like taste? You can taste the yeast. That’s
what it is. I’m not as excited to try mine now because of James’s description, but let’s
give it a mix and try. It looks nice. It looks really refreshing, but I think there’s lumpy
bits in the bottom. There’s bits. Yeah. I’m not keen on texture like lumpy stuff in drinks.
Like like if I have orange juice, it has to be smooth. I don’t like the lumps, the pulp, blush!
Just if you haven’t realised already. Yeah. If you’ve been watching along from the start, you
know I’ve got an issue with the textured foods. Okay. Right. Let’s give this a go.
I mean, it’s refreshing. [Music] It’s almost like … It’s not beer taste. To
me it is, it’s got that initial yeasty. It’s like a very light milky strawberry yogurt.
Like if you had like if you’ve got a yogurt, watered it down. That’s sort of what
it tastes like. It’s nice though. It’s refreshing. Definitely needed in this hot weather. It’s little lumps of jelly. Is that what it is?
It’s jelly? It’s jelly. Yeah. If you’re coming in this heat, definitely take regular breaks. Go
in the restaurants. Go in the shops. Get some air con and keep hydrated because the heat is no
joke. And the humidity. It’s more humidity today. It’s not as hot as yesterday. It doesn’t feel
as hot. But it’s more humid like the air feels just wet as you’re walking around. So what’s our
plans? We have Anna & Elsa’s Frozen journey now, we’ve got our Disney Premier Access we can use
for it. And then Toy Story Mania. And then we have also booked a Disney Premier Access for Toy
Story Mania. Now it is exactly the same as the other parks. There’s no difference at all. But me
and James are super competitive. And this is one I usually win. So, we have to try it while we’re
here because I’m the champion in Florida. Is there one in Paris? There’s not one in Paris. I’m the
reigning champion, though so. No, you’re not. I am at Toy Story Mania. No, I won it was 2-1. Yeah,
we love this and we love the Buzz Astro Blasters. Buzz Lightyear Spin. All those ones. Oh, no. Yeah.
Sorry, Mania is the one with the. Mania’s Toy Story yeah. Yeah sorry yeah I’m Buzz yeah. So,
James wins Buzz. I win Toy Story. Yeah. Sorry, I got confused. Yeah it’s not hard. Yeah she She
might be.. We might have been equal in Florida. As I said earlier, I think we’re just going to
try and book as many of these DPAs as we can to maximise the day and just get on as many rides as
possible because it’s just so hot. I don’t think we can wait in the queues for that long. A lot of
the queues are outside and there’s not much well there’s no fans and there’s not much shade so it
can be quite unbearable. It’s currently 33° and like 60-70% humidity. So, it’s it’s very warm.
It’s pure sun. It’s pure sun as well. So, it’s not there’s not even any cloud
cover to try and give us a little bit of shelter. Have a look. 71% humidity. There
you go. James has just found it for me. So, it’s Yeah, feels very sticky.
Heading into Arendelle. Wow, look at the frozen palace. It’s incredible. So, we go .. The priority access entrance is on the left and the standby is on the
right. It’s currently 140 minute wait. [Music] I’ll show you the walkway
because the entrance is so cute. This is shorter than it was yesterday cause we
had to actually queue in fastpass yesterday. Yeah. Yesterday we had to wait here
but only took 5 minutes or so [Music] Hello. So up we go. So that should be
pretty much a walk on. Yeah. I just want to show you the hidden
Mickey in the moon just here. Hands down best ride ever.
So for Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey, we definitely recommend getting the Disney Premier
Access. Every time we’ve been looking on the app or just walking past, it’s never been below 120
minutes. And a lot of that queuing is outside. It’s now 150 minute. It is definitely worth it.
How much was it? Was it 2,000 yen each? Yeah. So, it’s about £10 pounds each for the Disney
Premier Access. If you wanted to do that make sure that’s the first thing you book as
soon as you come into the park because it is the first one to sell out. So, we’re coming
into Toyville Trolley Park to Toy Story Mania. So, it’s currently an 80-minute wait and we’ve got
priority access entrance. [Music] May the best man or woman win. Got my glasses on. I’m ready. We
take this one so seriously. We’re so competitive. Toy Story Mania complete reigning champion.
Smashed it. She literally hit one 5,000 like um ..target.. target thank you right
at the end as the gate was closing. No, I was 5,000 ahead of you the second screen
before the end. Yeah, because you hit one target as it was closing. Gotta go for
the big ones. Don’t go don’t bother with the hundreds. Go with the thousands. I
should have won by 400 points. No. So, we’re going to redo that again later because
I could have cheated. Are you going to queue 2 hours for that? Yes! Just to beat me?
So, while we’re in the American waterfront, we thought we’d stop off and get some lunch
at the New York Deli. It’s just around the corner. New York! We’ve mobile ordered. So,
we will pop in there now. Cause we hungry. So, it’s just here. It looks really cool. We’ve got a specially specialty.. how do you say
that speciality drink. Its like Pina noclada. Tt’s the Coca-Cola and apple soda with popping
candy. Got this for free with our vacation package beverage drinks voucher we didn’t pay for
this. Have you tried it already. Of course he has. Popping candy is strong. Oh, it’s
nice. Yeah. Apple Coke. Rate that. Then we just got some French fries and the… we
got mochi, that’s for pudding. Oh, it’s hot. And the pastrami sandwich. That looks really good.
Should have got a knife to cut it though. No, they didn’t have one. Oh, they didn’t have
any. Okay. The chips are always really good in Disney. I mean, Disney chips. You
can’t go wrong. [Music] mm mm mm . Oh my god, look how good that is. It’s like
all just falling out. Don’t break it. Don’t break it. Think it’d be too messy? Yeah. They
gave us one napkin. It’s going to be messy. It’s just going to fall apart if you break that.
So, what’s in this? So, this is a pastrami [Music] onion, pickle is it? Um, not in a normal New York
Deli, but uh. Oh my god, that’s so good. Just to make sure that this isn’t strange, okay,
so this is got it’s slightly different to a normal pastrami. It’s falling out. So, it’s beef
pastrami, cheese, and thousand island dressing, which you generally have mustard. Yeah, it’s
got his mustard. You can taste it. Okay. So, pickly good? Very, can I have
a napkin. One napkin. [Music] It’s five out of five. Her scores
are very high. That’s banging. It’s like super cheesy, but not
like strong cheese. It’s a really subtle cheese. The beef is really good.
Perfect ratio of mustard to pickle. Yeah, get it if you’re here. Sorry it’s very messy. Yeah, I rate that. It was only like £3. That
was £3? Yeah. Wow. We tend to share food a lot at lunch. We’re not really big lunch eaters. We
like to get things that we can share so that we can try different restaurants and different
foods. So, we’ll snack little and often. We often share. It’s just otherwise I can’t eat a
full meal and it’s just a waste of money. So, we get to try a few different things that way.
But that rate!. Yeah. I just can’t work out, oh It’s the Thousand Island sauce I can
taste. Yeah. Mixed with mustard. Yeah, it’s a nice combo. Might try that at home.
It’s interesting. [Music] The only thing I find with pastrami sandwiches is I can get the
ick very easy if there’s a bit I don’t like, which I did get. So, yeah, I don’t like fatty
meat. And I got a stringy bit burgh, no. back to that texture issue.
That puts me off once I get to that stage. I’m like, I can’t eat anymore. The focus is really good. Sorry, I was experimenting. I reckon
you’ve got chocolate custard. [Music] Always right. Nice. I thought we got I don’t know what mochi is actually made out of. Is it
just gelatine? I don’t know. I thought it’s like a rice like compounded down.
I could be completely wrong? Yes, it’s a rice, made out of rice. I was right. For those
who don’t know, mochi is made out of rice. I haven’t just Googled that. Okay. One, two, three. That’ll do, save both. [Music]
Sorry. We’re doing a little boomerang with our mochi. It’s cute. It’s
for children. Yeah. Eat the face first. Strawberry. I think this is the best one. Yeah. Swap? No, unless you want to. Yeah. Sorry, I don’t
think you like the custard. I do. Oh it’s sticky. We got the mochi yesterday for the first
time. Our full review is in yesterday’s vlog. [Music] They’re a must have if you come here.
You’ve got to try them. But what I do love about the app, though, is it keeps all of your
booked attractions and shows in your home plan and it has it listed throughout the day. So,
you can see what you’ve got coming up next. And then once you’ve used that, it puts it
to the bottom and says used attractions. So, it’s really clever. And if you go onto the map
and view the map, you can see little pictures of your icon that you have on the app. So that
tells you you’ve got something booked for that ride or that show. And you just click on it
and it gives you the details. It’s so clever. The little display windows in the shops
are so cute. Look at this Donald one and the ceiling. Look how beautiful that is.
It’s just inside the shop. Is amazing. [Applause] [Music] People are getting
absolutely soaked. They’re loving life. [Music] Look at him with his little Mickey
sunglasses. He’s so cute. Hmm? Nothing. [Music] Wow, look at this. [Music] We’re going to do the caravan
carousel. Hello. It’s a 5 minute wait. This horse is a bit too big for
me. I prefer the smaller one. Daisy duck strutting her stuff. [Music] So cute. I’ve got a genie. [Applause] And now going into the Magic Lamp Theater. [Music] [Music] Behind the scenes. Loving his Duffy popcorn. [Music] We’re just heading over to Sinbad’s
Story Book. It’s a 5 minute wait. I think that’s what it’s called
anyway. It is. Yeah. Okay. I think it’s this building just
here, which looks enormous. [Music] [Music] Hidden Mickey in that cloud near the palm tree. [Music] [Applause] [Music] So we’ve finished the rides in Arabian coast.
We did the carousel, Magic Lamp Theater, and Sinbad. All very cute. All I would say you
maybe want 15 minutes max wait time. Yeah. Yeah, they’re good, they’re definitely aimed at
children, but they’re a good place to go if you want to cool down. Yeah if you want air
con, you just want some rest. But the Sinbad one gave me vibes of Pirates of the Caribbean mixed
with Small World I felt like. Yeah, that’s what I thought. That’s what I thought when I was going.
It’s funny. I literally thought this is just It’s a small one about going through the different
countries. But Chandu, we love Chandu, he’s cute. We’re now at Journey Journey
to the Center of the Earth. We’ve booked a Disney premier access for this. It’s such a good ride. We had to
do it again before we left so. We’re now just going through the rides
that we haven’t had a chance to do yet. So, we have only three or four left to do in the
park and then we’ve done them all. Completed. Completed. Almost. Not yet. Almost. Couple more to
do yet. But we wouldn’t have been able to do it, I don’t think, without the Disney Premier
Access. I think that’s been like key having those especially for things like Frozen. Wouldn’t
have been able to do that otherwise. I don’t think you want to stay in the park. I think it’
be too hot. No, it’d be too hot for sure. [Music] Thank you. [Music] [Music] So, we’ve just come into Dreams Take Flight,
which is the entry request that we got this morning. I’m not sure if we can film. So, if you
see the clip, then obviously we could. If not, then sorry, we couldn’t. We’ve just got out
of dreams take flight. And I cried, of course. It was so good. I didn’t. It was really really
good. So I think the story line is because it’s in Japanese we can’t understand it but we believe
so it’s Minnie, it’s her dream to fly and Mickey and his friends built this plane for her. It’s
so good and they have all different characters. So it’s Mickey, Minnie, Chip and Dale. Um Max
is there. Is it Max Power line is his name? Is that his real name Max Power line or is it
just Max? It’s just Max. Is it just Max? Yeah, because it’s Goofy’s son. It’s like a full
on like theatrical production like dancing, singing music. Max’s bit was so cool. They
all had like outfits on of like electric neon lights and you could just see them moving in
the dark like dancing. It was very Japanese like um like futuristic almost. Yeah, I thought
at first it was going to be something like um what’s the ride? Uh Tron related because there
was all those circuit lines. Yeah, it did sort of look like that, didn’t it? Oh my god, it was so
good. And they had a few like special characters come out. So Miguel came out and sang a song from
Coco. You had Moana, you had Merida from Brave, and she’s very rarely out. Yeah. So the other
rare character they had was Pocahontas and I’ve never seen her in a park since I was 10. That’s
the last time I saw her when she did there was a show in Orlando and it was a Pocahontas show and
it was the best show ever, they had live animals like they had a little raccoon as Meeko. It was
so clever. But this actually had she actually came out and sang just around the river bend and it
was really good. Yeah. Still a bit emotional right now. Cried so much. What do you think of it? I
thought it was really good. I recommend it. I like um Lianne’s more into the uh the theatrical uh
Disney stuff than me I’m here for the rides and the food and the mouse. Separate subject. Um
but yeah, no, I really enjoyed that. It was good. Again, not very many kids in there. No,
it’s literally all adult. It’s mainly adults. It’s actually interesting when you think about it,
there’s not many kids in the park. Just looking around right now. Yeah, I can out of like 100
people I can see two children. But like not even like teenagers. They’re all generally 20s, 30s,
40s, 50s, 60 year olds. So we’re in the right place by the sounds of it. Yeah, definitely.
We’re not 60. We may look it sometimes. Lianne walks like a sixty old. Yeah with my feet at the
minute. Yeah. But yeah, definitely recommend it it’s so good. So what we going to do now? We
are going to use our vacation package ticket to go on Acqutopia which you can only use for a
certain period between July and September. So up to September 15th. It’s currently the 9th. So we
get to experience it. I think in the summer months it’s called the summer cool off or something. So
you get wet whereas in the the normal one I don’t think you do. You just get close to the sprays
of water. On this you actually get wet. Sorry to interrupt. This is way more important. But uh no
way. The Incredibles are just walking through. Let me go and get this. Hang on. Turn around. You can
just see them. I’ve never seen these in a park. This is so cool. Got Mr.
Incredible here. That’s awesome. Got a little high five. Edna Mode! Did you
not notice her? She was right next to She was right next to you. I didn’t even see
her I thought She was just a normal woman with a really big head. Oh my god, this
is awesome. I never see characters just walking around like this. And it happens so
much here. But they interact with you. Yeah, they do. They always give high
fives. They’ll stop for photos. Oh, thank you. Okay. Thank you We just got a picture with Mr. Incredible.
We were just sat down doing our review of the Dreams Take Flight show and as we were
just about to finish, we saw the Incredibles walking down the street. So, we ran up and got a
photo with Mr. Incredible. It was so funny. like Edna mode came and grabbed me and I was trying to
get a selfie with her. I think I’ve got a little clip of it on video. She’s like, “No, come and
get in with Mr. Incredible.” Like grabbed me, took me to Mr. Incredible. And then James was
there as well and a lovely lady took my phone and took some photos for us. So, super happy. I
couldn’t get my arm out to flex unfortunately. Yeah, he was flexed. I said to James, “You
should have done it.” I’m pretty sure mine might be slightly bigger, but I don’t want to
compare. He was enormous, wasn’t he? He was huge. This is Aquattopia. This is what we’re about to
do. I don’t know how wet people are getting, so we’re just observing for the moment, but it looks
pretty awesome. It’s like a trackless water ride. Oh my god. I have no idea where it’s going. You
literally…Oh no, you can see the truck a little bit actually. That’s not too bad. weeee.
Oh, okay. It’s not too spinny. Oh, backwards. [Music] Oh, this that bit. No, we’re going to get
soaked. Is it that early? Yeah! Ahhhh. No way. Okay, cover your head and
lean forward. [Applause] Oh, no. Your phone is waterproof yeah? Yeah. [Music] My legs got soaked! My shorts are going to go see through. Oh no. I feel a bit dizzy now. That’s really odd because like those people went
all the way over there. So I thought we were going over there. Are there two different tracks?
Yeah. Imagine if we had gone on the other track, we would have got absolutely soaked then cause we
didn’t know. I think my shorts are see through you have to tell me when I get off. Absolutely
not, you’re a fully grown adult, you have to take this responsibly yourself. We didn’t go
in there. No, I know that’s what I mean. There must be like there must be different tracks.
At the minute it’s the summer soak, so you get wet. James’ shorts are literally saturated. I had
my Disney Animals rain jacket on which I got in Florida a couple of years ago and so many people
in the queues are like pointing out being like, “Oh my god, her jacket.” That’s quite
funny. It does get a lot of attention, that rain jacket. I think it’s one of the best
things I’ve ever bought. Everyone loves it. Look at the jumbo Duffy. It’s huge.
Just to give you a idea of size, that’s my hand near his ear. His ear
is bigger than my hand. He is huge. Oh, the 20th anniversary ears. That’s really
cute. This is the free bag I picked up as part of my vacation package. Just want to see
how much it is. [Music] 2,600 yen. Really cute. How have I only just discovered this? A Duffy
and Friends restaurant. Look at the back of the chairs. It’s all the characters and the
little plant pots. Oh my god, I love it. I just bought some more duffy ears, too. Guess where we’re eating tonight. Yes. I
don’t care what food they have. Yeah. [Music] This is Cape Cod Village. So, we came into the
Duffy and Friends restaurant. We decided to sit outside because you got Hightown, no
Tower Hotel in the background and you’ve got Cape Cod Bay just behind us. You’ve got the
lighthouse. You got the little ship. It’s lovely and there’s a lovely breeze coming through.
So, of course, I just went classic chips and Mickey nuggets. Can’t go wrong with a Mickey
nugget. I’m telling myself they’re Duffy because we’re in the Duffy restaurant. And then the
dessert. Oh no, I just dropped him, is I’ll show you a bit closer, but a little Duffy Bear caramel
biscuit and the Duffy and Friends raspberry drink. So, we didn’t pay for this. We got this free
with our vacation package drinks voucher. [Music] And then James got the so chips and he got the
same cookie thing. And then he got this which is what? Oh, pulled pork burger. Yeah. Yeah. It’s
heavy. That’s really weighty. Good. Excellent. I’m so hungry. And all for £14. Yeah. All for £14.
Insane. But to be fair, the drinks were free and they were 800 yen each. So So an extra 1,600
yen so that’d be 30,000yen. 30,000? 33,000?. What? I can’t. Where are we coming with numbers
here? Did you say 2,400 yen or 2/20? I don’t know. Yeah, it was 2000, yeah you’re right it was
2,400 yen. Plus 1600. Yeah. Shall I work out what that that is, actually, no we can work that out.
1,000 yen is £5. So, it’s around £8 extra. Oh, it’s painful, guys. We’re sorry. Oh
my god, the hair’s blowing everywhere. I’m officially obsessed with Duffy and
Friends. I think they guessed. I knew I would be coming here because I’ve done so much
research and I just I loved all the characters, but actually being here and seeing it all in
the park, it is amazing. But they have nothing in Disneyland really of Duffy and Friends. It is
all in Disney Sea. I thought both parks had it, but if you’re a Duffy fan, Disney Sea is the
one. Yeah. Even the Pandora in Disneyland didn’t have any. I don’t think I don’t think
so. James is going to try the pulled pork burger. Can I see what it looks like? Oh,
okay. Looks nice. That looks really good. Never thought I’d do that on camera. [Music] Good. Can have a bite? Excuse my hair. That’s really good. That’s like five out of five
good. Solid five. Yeah. I’m not sure if we’ve told you yet as well, the popcorn voucher that you get
with the vacation package it gives you one free popcorn bucket per group. And the original popcorn
bucket that they give you is the blue one with the vacation Mickey on the front. You’ve probably seen
it online if you’ve looked at vacation packages. I wasn’t too keen on that one. So, we
went up to the popcorn carts where they have the really pretty. Oh, hello. Let me
just show you. Its thumper! [Music] Bye. Oh my god. Oh, my he just stood right next to me. I didn’t even see him there.
Sorry. That was really cool. [Music] God’s sake. [Music] Why do I Why am I like this? [Music] Please someone let me know in the comments.
I’m not the only one that cries every time I see a character. Any boyfriends and husbands
also comment that you’re concerned that people think that you’ve made them cry and
everyone’s judging you. That’s what James worries about that I sit crying
all the time and people probably think, “Oh my god, he’s been really horrible to
her.” He’s never! It’s Disney does this to me. Especially when Thumper is like thumping his
foot. I know. I wish I’d got that bit on camera. You’re going to be a while with Lianne
so I’ll just go straight to the uh.. Oh my god, it’s so cute. I love it. Sorry
guys. If you’ve watched from day one, you’re used to this by now. So, popcorn
bucket and uh… Where should I get to? Yeah, I got completely sidetracked. You weren’t too
keen on the free one that you get given. Yeah. So, I didn’t like the free vacation
package bucket that they offered. So, we went up to the popcorn cart and we asked if we
could use our voucher there. And my understanding was that you could do that, but then you
pay the difference because the character popcorn buckets are a bit more expensive. So, I
thought we’d have to pay a difference towards it, which we were fine with doing because we love
them so much. And actually, it was completely free. They filled it with popcorn for free as
well. So, we didn’t pay anything. We? We! I think you very much chose that. Excuse me yeah,
I chose the bucket, you ate it. So, it’s a ‘we’/ How’s your Duffy biscuit? Oh, look. It’s all
spilling out the side. That looks so good. [Music] I’m so happy right now. It tastes a bit like
coffee. Very light coffee. Really nice. Maybe the cream has got coffee in it. It’s really
nice. I rate it I’d give it a four. A four? Like just because it’s got Duffy on it
doesn’t mean you have to give everything a five. Fine a five. Yeah we do. Okay.
Sorry. Jeez. [Music] Life is good, guys. When you’re in Disney, it’s always good.
How have you finished your whole meal and your cookie? I’ve not even touched my nuggets and
I’m still going on the chips. I mean, I was crying for 5 minutes, but And you finished your drink?
Stop. How was the drink? What was it like? Was it ..It’s a cranberry soda, right? Yeah. It’s got
like little jelly cranberries at the bottom. Oh, lovely. My favorite. It was nice. It was nicer
than one we had earlier. Yeah. Which was sort of same consistency. Cream. Oh, cream like the
milk tea we had, the Rapunzel milk tea. Yeah. I can’t believe that with Thumper. I just
saw this mass just standing next to me and I thought someone was just standing there.
Turned around, he was just there waving at me. That was so cool. You see what I mean? I’ve
not experienced that in other parks. No. Just them free like roaming around the streets. So,
do sit outside and sit at the edge if you can, especially here because that was awesome.
We’ve had a great day with characters, haven’t we? We’ve done loads today. Yeah.
And again, he only had one person with him. Right onto the nuggets. They’re
probably stone cold by now. So good. Right. Let’s finally try
this Duffy Bear. She’ll like this, she’ll give this a five. I like sweet
things I’d rather have a dessert than a starter. I’m that kind of girl. Whereas
I’m not that massive on them. Oh my god, I’m obsessed. It like it does crush together by
the way, so you might want to eat over something. Look how cute. Did you get a picture of it? I bet
you didn’t. You just shoved it in your cake hole, didn’t you? Cake hole? Oh, there we
go. That’s better with the flowers. Right. Let’s give this a go. So, this is a caramel a caramel biscuit. So, it’s like a
foamy squishy like mousse and then caramel inside. Let me just flick my hair
back for this cause this is gonna be messy I feel like. You’re already squashing it
at the bottom, that’s where it’s gonna go. Go for the ear first. [Music] Told you, it’s
not the taste. That is amazing! It’s the fact it’s a face. No. No. The cream is like a coffee
flavor. It’s caramel coffee or something. Oh my god. [Music] I would come here just for this.
If you’re in Cape Cod, you have to get this. It’s the best £2 you’ll spend. Is that all it
was? Yeah. She’s going to get another one now, she’s going to bring six home. They’re going to be
stale, but like, sorry was four a bit harsh? Yeah. So, if you are collecting the medallions, they do
have it on the website. Tokyo Disney Resort. Tokyo Disney Resort website. Stitch. If we’re smart,
we’ll put a link below. We can. Yeah, we will put the link below. We’ll find a way. Yeah, just
copy it from the website. Don’t use that link, James. So, I’ve got a couple now and I’ve got
I bought the medallion book in Fantasy Springs yesterday, so I can start popping them in there.
It was our last night in Fantasy Springs last night, the hotel, and we are moving over to
Disneyland Hotel tonight. And I am beyond excited because we booked, we treated ourselves.
We booked a grand park view on the seventh and eighth floor. I’m so excited to see what that’s
going to be like. The view, I think, when it’s all lit up at night. Oh my god. I had no idea, by the
way. He did. He knew exactly what was going on. But to give you an idea, so it’s quarter past 6,
the park shuts at 9:00. They still have Disney Premier Access for Journey to the Center of
the Earth, Peter Pan’s Neverland Adventure, Toy Story Mania, and Tower of Terror. But
soaring Fantastic Flight, and Anna and Elsson’s Frozen Journey has sold out, so it’s
not too bad actually today. A lot more sold out last night when we looked. Where’s the camera?
Oh it’s there! [Music] I just saw the case and have a slight panic. I do this all the time. Like
my phone is right in front of me and I’m like, “Where’s my phone?” And it’s literally there
or I’m using it or it’s in my hand. No, you do it last night. Did I do it last night? You
were like, “Where’s the uh stand?” And I said, “It’s there.” And you went behind. Oh yeah I
couldn’t see it. Just like right in front of you, you’re looking at it. I do this a lot. I have
also … I can’t believe I’m even admitting to this. I’ve also run around the house once
in a rush to leave the house being like, “Where’s my shoes? Someone’s moved my shoes.
Where are they?” and they were on my feet. I obviously just have these mad moments where I just lose the plot completely.
And yeah, welcome to my brain. Lots more of that to come. I’m a bit
weird. You probably worked that out by now. James is used to it. Tower of Terror? Yeah, let’s
go. Before you admit to anything else, [Music] Wow, look at that. Oh, the camera is not doing it justice. It’s
even better in person. It is humongous. And then just beyond this little wall is the sea. Oh, I might take my ears off in a minute. I don’t
want to lose my mickey’s. My mickeys? My mickey’s. My dogs are barking. Dawgs. If you know… If you
know, you know. Yeah, we love him. He’s our fave. [Music] Oh my god, it’s so
pretty. All the lights on it. Wow. Do you know what this means? What? Can you guess, the ship.
Which bit? The whole ship. What? Oh, it’s Steamboat Willie. No, It means it
might have to do Disney Cruise Line. No. No. It’s Steamboat Willie. Honestly. Don’t
listen to her, that’s what he’s trying to say. We’ve never done a cruise I don’t think we
would be cruise people. However, we would be Disney cruise people for sure. We’ve seen loads
of vlogs of some of our favorite people doing them and they look amazing. I think I would just
I would literally not stop crying.Well why break a habit of a life time that’s what I say. I know.
Look how pretty it is lit up. It is the most prettiest tower, isn’t it? Compared to the others,
the colors on it, just the shape of the building and the fact it looks modern. Gives me original
Ghostbusters vibes. It does actually. Yeah. Hello. Thank you. And straight in we go. What’s the wait
time currently? Like 100 minutes. No, 2 hours. Oh jeez. How cool is this?
The lift has like crushed through. It’s so cool. Are you scared child? We’re trying to work out how this thing
disappears. So we’ve come this side purposefully. [Music] [Music] How did it disappear then? I think it’s
a laser. We literally can’t work it out. Because the thing’s still there. It’s not a
laser because it’s solid and it’s there. It’s pretty cool. Don’t look it up. Don’t spoil
the magic. It’s witchcraft. It’s not magic. It’s so clever. The whole story behind this ride
is just amazing. Look he’s looking it up. Don’t tell me I don’t want to know. I want to believe in
the magic. If it’s a laser can I tell you? No, I don’t want to know. I don’t like knowing how stuff
like that’s done. That’s the whole part of it. Currently 6:42pm so, that was a
walk on so far to this point. Oh, I see. Okay. No, cause you’re going to
want to tell me now, I don’t want to. No, I’m not going to tell you, but it’s very
clever. Shhh don’t give any tips. It is magic. You sure you don’t want to know? No, I don’t want
to know. Look, he’s desperate to tell me now. I’m not desperate to tell you. I don’t want to know
anything. But comment below and I’ll tell you. No. We’re doing the electric railway at
the waterfront area. It’s a walk on and we want to see it at night all
lit up. So, why not? During the day, the wait times are crazy busy, like an hour for
this. So, this literally looks like a walk-on. [Music] [Music] Did not realise you could not stay on
it. It’s not like Magic Kingdom. It’s not like Magic Kingdom where you can
just ride it around and get off at whatever port you want. We had to get off
at Port Discovery. So now we’re walking back because the queue for the monoraill this
side was really long. We’ll get some steps in. Yeah, it’s nice. It’s a light sparkling
lemon with some zest. Refreshing. Oh, it’s Donald. Yeah. I just sent as you lifted
it up. Now she wants it. Donald and Daisy on the back. I love how much of a diva Daisy is. So
cute. Remind you of anyone? I’m not a diva. Well, if if I’m Daisy Duck, then that makes
you Donald who’s grumpy & moody. I can deal with that, I’m fine with
that. It’s my spirit animal. [Music] Oh, that’s nice. It’s like it doesn’t
bite your tongue. It’s lemonade. Yeah. Either way you’re trying to describe it. It’s lemonade.
I was taking a mick. Was you actually? Yes. Oh, this is the dry sense of humor that
some people don’t understand. Like my wife. And I’m mostly used to it.
So, we’ve not been down here yet. This is near the Venetian Gondilas.
Oh my god, look how pretty it is. [Music] [Music/Singing – Everybody’s got a dream] [Music/Singing – somewhere hiding in the shadow. Let’s pave the world with Stardust
and paint the sky with gold]. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] We’ve just arrived at the Tokyo Disneyland station about to see the hotel for the
first time that we’re staying in. [Music] Oh my god, this is
so pretty. It looks so grand. Wow. Wonder which room was ours. So that’s the hotel. Then that’s the entrance
to the park. [Music] It’s literally opposite. Oh my gosh. Imagine just sitting there
and just watching the world go by. Oh, it’s nice and breezy. Oh, Disney
Merkantile. I will see you tomorrow. Such a nice little touch just
to welcome you to the hotel. [Music] I’m the photographer. And here
we go. Oh my god. The staircase. Looking glass gifts. Oh, look at the Alice mosaic.
Oh my gosh. Wow. Oh my god. Stop. Look up. Yeah, This is so grand. It is unbelievable. This is literally ridiculous. Where’s check-in? Looks like it’s this way. I can’t
believe we’re here for two nights. Look how cute. Mickey Mouse on a little marble stand. And then look at Minnie. Look how
cute she is with her little umbrella. She’s so cute. Wow, this is so pretty. I love it. [Music] Luggage acquired. Welcome to the eighth floor. Quite good. My
voice cracked at the beginning, don’t judge me. [Music] Oh, it’s Donald. Donald! It’s
Donald’s voice this time. 8522. Oh automatically. We’re not
peeking. We’re not looking until we’re in. I’ve just spotted Mickey on the wallpaper
already. Neither of us are looking. We’re hiding in the corner because we don’t want
to see the room yet. Oh my god. Stop. I prefer the single beds personally. We have
a big bed, we can share again. He’s like, great. Oh my gosh, it’s so cute. So,
we’ve got a Mickey with some flowers. Oh my god, the detail. I love this. Look how cute they are together.
Oh, the castle, the bed. Okay, we’ve just turned all the lights
off so that we can see the view from outside because this room is a park
grand view. You get the seventh or the eighth floor and this is the eighth
floor. So, we have no idea what view what it looks like yet so. Can tell how
excited she is. I know I’m so excited, So excited. I’m like really nervous at the same
time. Shut up. Oh my god. Open the curtain. What? We can see Cinderella. No. Is
it Cinderella Castle. Yeah and Mount Prometheus is behind it.
Oh my god. This is insane. Let me show you. Hang on. Oh, we have the Monorail
is there as well. We can see the sign. Oh god, That is amazing. I can’t believe that is our view.
The camera is not even doing it justice. Another monorail going past as well. Sorry, I left the uh bathroom lights on, so it probably wasn’t helping. And you can
literally see Tower of Terror on the far left, Mount Prometheus? It’s flaming. Can you hear it?
Can the windows open? Yeah, I don’t know how. Did I just hit you with the
window? Sorry if I did. It was a millimeter. It’s fine. Oh my god, the music. I didn’t even realise you can
see Tower of Terror. Sorry, did you say that? Yeah, on the far left. Yeah, You can see over there is um
Peter Pans. Yeah. To the right. That view is literally Oh my god, look
at the dresser. Oh, it’s the wardrobe. Oh my god, that’s so cute. I just spotted her. Oh,
this is insane. What do you think? Just like first impressions. We haven’t done we’ve not looked
at everything yet. We’ve just come in. Yeah, it’s amazing. Like Again, just so far the
thing that’s blown me away has just been the level of detail and everything. It’s
just like small little touches like that and there’s something Is there something on the
top of the mirror, too, or is it just a rose or something? Like they just put all these little
notches in. It’s amazing. It literally is. Even like there’s roses on the floor and birds. Yeah.
I’ll give you a proper room tour. But oh my god, I have literally I’m a mess today. I’ve not
stopped crying all day, have I? No. No, she hasn’t. It’s been amazing. I’ve got to go give our
passports in because the check-in process isn’t as smooth as I thought it would be. No. So, because
we gave our passport details and everything to Fantasy Springs, we hoped they would just
transfer our details over, but they haven’t so, we need to go and give our passports. Because we
didn’t presume, they asked us for our next hotel, you literally physically have to write down your
next hotel and then they said, “Oh, because you’re staying there, we’ll transfer your bags for
you, so don’t worry about it.” I was like, “Oh, cool.” And then so we obviously didn’t take
our passports to the park today. They didn’t they didn’t mention anything about needing passports so
we just assumed okay they’ll transfer it because it’s the same company at the end of the day. No
different. So but it’s fine. So they just said I’ll just pop back down with them. So she’s
given us our room keys and everything. They they held our luggage so our passports were in
our luggage so we couldn’t get to them. Yeah. So James will go and do that and then I will
give you a little room tour. So stay tuned. So, as you come in, you have this beautiful
carpet. I love it. Like roses and birds. So pretty. And this is what you see when you first
come in. On the left hand side, you have a lovely mirror to get ready at in the morning. I want
one of these at home. I would love to have one. Oh, it’s got the logo above the mirror. That’s
so nice. On the left, you’ve got the wardrobe. So you’ve got a pillow, a spare blanket, plenty of
hangers, and then slippers. I love some slippers. As soon as I get in from anywhere at home, I put
slippers on. So, these are little gold Mickey’s for adults. And then children, they have these
orange Disneyland hotel ones. And then to the left of that, you have a little tea station. Is
there a light? Yes. Very cute. Nice little alcove. All the pictures. It’s all Beauty and the Beast
artwork. Cogsworth. And you’ve got Lumiere as well. So cute. So, kettle, ice bucket, beautiful
cups. So, in here should be teas and coffees and things. Yep. So, coffee, stirrers and then some
Japanese tea. Same as Fantasy Springs Hotel. Glasses and then fridge must be in here. Which way
do you open? That way. Two free waters. And then this is the bedroom. So, you’ve got a huge bed and
then cute little window through to the bathroom, which I’ll give you a peek in a minute. It is
frosted. And then little bedside table with a drawer and a little cubby storage hole.
And then you have got some ports here. So, USB port and then your normal two plugs. And then
here you’ve got some more plugs. So, again, just a USB and then two of the standard plugs. Telephone
alarm clock if you need it. And these do control the lights. Yes. Okay, that’s coming home. Then
a little bedside table. Postcards. I love when they give you free stuff like this in the hotels.
So, this is the Tokyo Disneyland one. That’s so pretty. And then you’ve just got this little Tink
one as well, which is really cute. A nice little seating area. free little tote bags. So, Tokyo
Disney Hotel on it. And it’s the image of Mickey and Minnie. Similar to the Fantasy Springs ones
that we got, which we have used loads already, so that’s been really handy. And then you’ve got the
dresser over here. Huge big TV. It says, “Welcome to Tokyo Disneyland.” And then drawers. So, again,
the drawers. Oh, okay. Safe in this one. They have pajamas here, too. Oh my god. I’ll wear them
tonight. Same sizing as fantasy spring. So, medium, medium, medium, and then one large. And
then just more more storage. So, on the left hand side, you have got a lovely full length mirror. I
love when they put full length mirrors in hotels. It just makes it so much easier getting ready in
the morning. I look a mess. I’ve been at the park all day, so please excuse the state of me. And
then we come to the bathroom. So, it’s a pocket door, which I love. So, just one sink. Huge, big
gold mirror, which I love. Beautiful green marble countertop. It’s really nice. A little Mickey bath
bomb. Looks gold. The towels, they’ve got the logo on them as well. Not too bad. And then you have
a couple of freebies over here, which is lovely. I love when hotels do this. It’s just it’s those
extra little perks that you get that just I love. So, you get four adult toothbrush kits. So, a
little toothbrush and toothpaste, a hairbrush, and then you get a little amenity kit. See
what you get in there. A little scrunchie. Um, not sure what that is. I’ll open that and have a
look. And then just some cotton buds as well. Then in here you have a hair dryer you can use as well.
And then some face creams. Then usually they give you kids ones as well I think which is yes here.
So that’s the kids versions. Little Huey Dewey and Louie. That’s so cute. I love that. And then
on the left hand side you’ve got the bathroom. It’s got a really cute picture of a fish on the
door. And then it’s one of the wet rooms that they have in a lot of the Japanese hotels, but this
one has a rainfall shower. We didn’t have that in Fantasy Springs. We just had the the handheld
that you pop up on the on the stand here. They’re nice and spacious. Bath. And they do give you
shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I love the Fantasy Springs one. So hopefully it’s the same
scent because it smells amazing. Lovely tiling, more towels, and then on the other side, which I
love. I love when they have the bath, the toilet separate to the bathroom, you have the Japanese
toilet. Okay. Doesn’t look as advanced as the other one. It looks much more simple and easy to
use. So you’ve got all the dials are on this side. I love it. But it has been a very long day. So,
we are going to have some something to drink, have a little snack, have a shower,
climb into this humongous bed. And that’s a wrap on day three at Tokyo Disney. We
spent the day in Disney Sea, as you know. You’ve watched us all day. Hopefully, yeah, hopefully
you’ve watched it to the end. It’s probably quite a long vlog, actually, but it has been I’ve
loved today. I’ve cried a lot. I’ve laughed. It’s been It’s been a blast. Out of control. I know.
I have issues. It has been the best day. So, it was our second day at Disney Sea today and I
loved it just as much today as I did yesterday. Yeah. I think we got our bearings around the park
a lot better. Yeah. We sort of knew where we were going towards the end of the day. Yeah. I think
even at the beginning it’s just like there’s just the bit around um mysterious island near it.
Yeah, the two thou.. was it the under the sea? 20,000 leagues under the sea. That one, that’s
the maze. Yeah, it’s like it’s just when you go out of one exit or the other one, but other than
that, the rest of it is quite easy to remember, isn’t it? Yeah, just that bit just plays
with my brain for some reason. Yeah. Hence, we found the Duffy bit because we went out.
Yeah. I can’t believe we hadn’t seen that before, I’d have eaten there every day the last two
days otherwise. It was a really fun day. Really good. Like managed to tick off a load of the
rides which we hadn’t managed to do on day one there. Yes. Um we done a lot today. Yeah. And
it was busier I think today. Today was busier, but I don’t think we would have got that much
done had we not have booked the Disney Premier Access. I think that really helped us. Yeah. with
the getting on as much as we did because the wait times for the ones we did book them for were well
over a hundred minutes. But we wouldn’t have been able to get on everything we did if we’d have
waited in those queues and would have probably died in the heat. Yeah, I think from memory Toy
Story was an hour and 20 minutes when we had it. Tower of Terror I think was 2 hours and Elsa I’m
pretty sure was 140 minutes. So like there was just huge queues all day. Straight away you’ve
lost 6 hours and for a park which is open only 12 hours effectively or 13 hours 12 if you have an
hour lunch. Um yeah just you just wouldn’t be able to do it all. So it’s definitely if you’re
not if you aren’t going to do the fastass uh DPA DPA sorry service that they provide then
you need two days in that park at least. I think you’d have to just plan it meticulously and be
like, “Right, I’m going to this this this.” And you’d also have to plan it out in sections. Yeah.
I think you would probably want to try and do land by land because it is a big park, going back
and forth is exhausting. Yeah. And because of the crowd numbers, you’re going to get held up behind
people, etc. So, it’s just Yeah, I think you could do it in two days. Yeah. Right. But I think to be
comfortable, if you want to really take your time and you don’t want to pay for DPAs or you just
want to experience the park and do the rides, I would probably say three days. Yeah. Would
be would be perfect. I would say probably one more day would be great so that we can explore
more of the land. maybe do some character meet and greets because I would like to see Duffy
I would try and like to see Duffy and Friends at some point but the queues are just they’re
horrendous for the character meet and greets. So hence whenever we see a character like walking
through the street like it’s so amazing because we never get to really see characters other than
when we go and see shows and things. So for us it’s incredible to see it as you could tell
with Thumper and my reaction. I’m terrible. But I do think though that Tokyo Disney Sea
is the best, immersive, detailed, themed, beautiful park ever. I think it’s I really do.
Yeah. You know, you’re in a Disney park. It feels so magical. Yeah. Even though there’s no castle,
which is crazy for me. The castle is like magic. But having that mount Promethus in the middle
with like.. we did get it erupting in the show. We managed to capture it…But um yeah, like where
every land you go in, you genuinely feel like you’re there or every ride you’re on, you feel
like you’re transported into the movie, especially um Frozen, the Anna & Else’s Frozen journey. The
animatronics are insane. They literally look like they’re the cartoons drawn like in real life. It’s
bizarre. Yeah. It’s just been done so smartly with technology, which I can’t say…it’s so advanced..
cause it will ruin the magic apparently. No, no. Today is the last day of our vacation package
which has now finished. So, we did the attractions and more for 3 days and then tomorrow we’re just
doing a normal regular park day. So at the end of the trip, we’ll review both and see what we our
final thoughts of the vacation package versus a non- vacation package looks like. But just
to give you a sort of a very quick summary, my opinion, I think it’s definitely worth it.
Yeah. I can’t remember what the numbers were in terms of what the difference was without having
it and with having it, but I know that we with the free free drinks, but we spent over £100, which
we haven’t had to spend obviously because we’ve had the voucher. And it’s over the three days
we did that But the fact that you’ve got it it’s the ease of it I find. The pre-booked stuff. It’s
all pre-booked and done. We have added um Disney Premier Access on top of our package. We have paid
for that which we mentioned a little while ago, but it’s just the ease of it having that the happy
entry um having the little perks that you get like the free goods. I got a little pouch, didn’t
I, with with my free goods. And actually, the one I got was a limited edition 20th anniversary
Duffy pouch and I love it. But no, I think yeah, over overall sort of summary is in my opinion
it’s worth it. I would do it again. Yeah, when you break down the price. Yeah. Like I think it’s just
there’s a slightly higher up front price. Yeah, I would say it is worth it. Plus the the extra
perks I think it is. Yeah. And I think when you look at the overall number of what the cost of
the vacation package is, it’s a lot to spend in one go. But then we justified it by breaking it
down into, okay, so it’s a three-day package. What does that total break down to over the three days?
And I think it was I think it was £1,800, I’d say, just slightly over £1,800 for the 3-day vacation
package. That works out to about £600 per day for your vacation package. And then we split that
divided by two, so James and myself. So, it works out about £300 per person per day for your hotel,
your park tickets, your pre-booked attractions, depending on what package you’ve gone for,
there is more or less. Your drinks voucher, your free popcorn bucket, your little uh free goodie
merchandise, and then that’s everything, isn’t it? Would you do anything differently though with the
package? I probably would. I think if we were to come again, I would book the unlimited vacation
package. It’s more money. I shouldn’t have asked this question. But hear me out. So, it does
cost more money. So, I would need to look into the prices because I don’t know what the price
difference is between the two. So, I might do a little research actually just to see and I can
put a comparison there. But with the unlimited package, you get the fast pass for all the rides
that are included and you can ride them as many times as you want. So, for example, because we
love Tower of Terror, we could go on it 10 times if we wanted to. We could just go on back to back
to back. Okay. So, I think if that is available, but that is the first one that always sells out.
When I did the tests, unlimited goes immediately. So, it is the one to try and get. I think because
of the ease and it means your day is just so free. All your money is paid in advance because you
pay for the vacation package when you book it. You haven’t got to buy Disney Premier Access when
you’re here. You haven’t got to worry about doing the 40th anniversary pass. So yeah, I think next
time I would maybe try I would try that. I think Never asking that question or any question
actually. I’m going to be in mute from now on. But it’s good to give like an honest opinion,
right? The one that we got I think it worked like the just the ease of the drinks thing, I can’t
describe how hot it was but I was drinking so much fluid it was unbelievable and like it just
if you didn’t you’ just be really sick so just in terms of that I mean I don’t think I’ve ever
spent £100 quid over three days in Florida never um so it might give you an idea if you’ve been
to Florida before in a hot period that. Yeah, that’s quite a lot of fluid I must have been
drinking. And the drinks are cheap here. Yeah, they’re very cheap. But I definitely think though
that if you are looking at a vacation package, I think the two-day, the 3-day or the unlimited,
whichever one you want, I think all of them are beneficial just for the perks that you get as
well as the the access to skip some of the standby lines. I think they are worth it. You and when you
go in, they punch your little tickets and you get to keep them. almost like a little keepsake if
you like that kind of thing as well. Like me, I like to collect everything. They punch them
with a just a traditional circle, not a Mickey. We said it should be a Mickey shape. The thing
is because they’ve themed everything so well, as soon as they stamped that, Lianne was like,
it’s not Mickey shapes. It’s like, yeah, you’ think actually the amount of small detail that
they put throughout these parks that they’ve not thought to do that. It’s just like it’s a bit old
school. Let me just get my whole punch out. Yeah. But yeah, so yes, if you are considering
a vacation package, I would recommend it 100% hands down. I would do it again. I wouldn’t
question it. So obviously the three days we’ve just had is the vacation package. Tomorrow is our
last full park day and we hadn’t actually booked any park tickets. We waited until we were here
to do them because staying in a Disney hotel, you are guaranteed park entry. You are guaranteed
to be able to purchase tickets. So, yes. So, tomorrow we are at Disneyland on just
a regular park day. We didn’t do any Disney Premier Access on the first day, did we?
Because we had the vacation package. So, we might do one or two. We’ll see what
rides are there. See how we’re feeling. So, I’m looking forward to doing it again because
I was feeling really rubbish the first day. I think I couldn’t fully take everything in
and I was just I was really poorly. So, I battled through until the end because
I had to see the fireworks show just in case we didn’t get to see it again and
it had cancelled or something. So, yes, I’m really looking forward to tomorrow
to exploring the park again. Definitely. So, I hope you’ve enjoyed watching today and
you’ve learned some tips and tricks and just enjoyed seeing the parks. I apologise again
