Mission Into Giant Abandoned Domes — A Forgotten Mega Project
In previous episodes, you could see us arrive
in a massive ghost town of $14 billion. Crazy. Check the other side. What is this?
We explored the abandoned indoor water park, the largest in the world. Some of the 23 hotels
on this side and discovered an unreal mall with luxury items left behind of Armani, Burberry,
Ralph Lauren, and many more. We also explored different hotspring areas in beautiful settings.
In this episode, we explore the big domes which house a water park and the circus. It will be
an adventure to get there. Someone is coming. Hi, I’m Bob, an urban explorer. And with friends, I explore the most amazing
abandoned places worldwide. Here we are again. Day five. Unbelievable. Hey
guys. Hey guys. We have a special surprise for you today because we are at the same location. We
didn’t get bored of it yet. This is the fifth day. Yeah, I think we are still here. Yeah, I think
I never experienced something like this before. Mm- We came here and we expected a lot and I knew
there were a lot of things but not on a scale like this. And it’s unbelievable what we get used and
maybe the locals get used to us too here. Yeah. So yeah, yesterday we went to visit the circus and
the big dome. Never made it there. We saw a lot of things but not this. And yeah, today we’re going
to start with that. Then we tried that botanical garden hotring. There might be people, but yeah,
it’s maybe the last day. We can spend here a few more weeks, but yeah, we have to go back to
Beijing and catch our flight, too. So yeah, so we decided to push our luck and uh maybe we
can we can shoot the botanical garden without being seen. That would be nice. Yeah. Yesterday
we found an easy access nearby the big dome which we will try now. It looks dead, right? Oh no,
there there are people they are working there. Huh. Can they see us? Not anymore, right? They bricked
it, but we can go there, right? Seems like Look at that exterior ladder. Yeah, you can
barely see it on the camera either. There. Oh, this was the ice skating ring. All right,
let’s check it here before it gets demolished. And you know what this was? Uhhuh. This This
is the ski area. I wonder why the building had such a shape, but it’s because of the of the
ski place here. And I guess this was indoor, too, because they had a indoor and outdoor,
I believe. It’s strange that they dismantle everything. I wonder what uh will happen then
to this area if it stays like this or they come up with a new concept. There’s open door on the
right. Yeah, probably they know that there won’t be any money to finish it. No. Who’s going
to invest in this place when it uh already went bankrupt once? Yeah, I think a lot of people
lost their money. But now I understand why they uh blocked all the entrances because
this is wasteland and easy to get. Oh, these are all the uh parts of the slidesh
which was never built in. What? What? May maybe it was actually they also had the largest
and most expensive roller coaster in this thing. Lots of different colored slides. Yeah. Oh,
here you can walk it. They break it again. Next layer. Ah, yes. Now we need to go up somewhere
with a massive construction. Let’s find a staircase somewhere. Mhm. There have to be a lot
of emergency exits, right? Mhm. It cannot be all blocked. But it seems like this is abandoned for
longer than a few years. It’s a strange figure. Looks like a ghost. Mhm. Found it. Oh my god. Oh
jeez. It really looks like boots from this angle. Oh my god, this place. Hallelujah. Yeah, with
the camera you cannot count the scale. This is crazy. It is. You see some leftovers
from the roller coaster or the slides. Now we have to go around this string around it. I really wonder how this place looked
like when it was telling news. Now we might find some pictures. Yeah.
Now it’s really postapocalyptic like it was never uh finished this project. I like
the decoration there. You see the proper flower. You know what’s crazy? You can walk all the way
up there. You see the middle of the dome? Yeah, I see. Wait. Oh. Mhm. Not for me. Not for
me. If it was worth it, I would do it, too. But uh we are on a tight tight schedule
today. Oh yes, your nice flower from the garden. For me, it’s a question indeed if it was in use or
not. Nothing grows here. Mhm. No. But on the other side, you see how much vegetation is there.
Here it was like a tropical jungle this part probably. And there are the swimming pools and
the slides were there. And this was maybe that they dismantled this part. Yeah, this was more
like a chill. What is the height of this? 50 m at least. I think the whole structure is a craziness.
It’s massive. Really massive. And here was also something. It’s like a underground corridor. I see
a red slide and it looks like some snake skin. A white one too. There you see. It looks like they
had some kind of cobra. Mhm. The cobra slide. You know, we can climb up there, but the view won’t
be that nice. Should we move on to the next? It looks really like the Mount Fuji, right? We were
here yesterday. And uh yeah, they said Mount Fuji lounge, but yeah, it’s a big volcano. Yeah.
So, these corridors are pretty tricky because if someone comes, there’s no place to hide. And
these are really long, but uh they cannot see outside. So, that’s good. So, we can freely walk
here without being spotted. It’s the first real wasteland we’re walking on. Yes, because the rest
of the terrain is pretty in a good shape. Let’s see where we end up. If we can continue from
here. Yeah, maybe we can go around it. This is where the blue dragon was. I think so. Yeah. Oh,
and there is the 4D cinema. Oh, yeah. You will be hard to get there then because this is that
stadium thing, right? Uhhuh. Yes. And everything will be locked on the left side. From here it also
looks pretty epic. It’s a really monstrous size. Oh, it’s locked. Damn. I think we have a problem now. We return to the car to find
another way into the circus. Oh, the last thing we want to see is the circus and
botanical garden. Yesterday, we already tried to find a way into the circus, but we failed.
The temple is open, and here is the stadium. Very uh low profile this car. Three times horning. Oh, I thought it was open, but it’s not open. So, you know which movie came to my
mind? Oh, I am legend. Of course, it feels like that one. Your favorite
toy is here. Gift chop. I think the wine we even try to go through the tin of the only
active building on the site, the temple. Oh, it’s a quite big complex. It’s a really
large complex. Look at the top. I see it. E, but the doors are locked. The only way to
enter is where we just been. I was not scared, but I was afraid that our exploration would be
cut short. That’s why I wanted to find another entrance, but it seems like it’s the only
entrance. Well, hopefully more luck today. You relax chairs again and the botanical
garden in the background. We finally managed to find an entrance, but it’s far from the
circus. It’s a massive locker room again. Shower area. It’s for the lockers. Looks
really luxurious, right? passageway. Now getting to the hotel part. Watch your footsteps here. What is this? A lobby or what? Oh yeah, this is that one tree. Oh yeah, we
saw Oh, look at the gentle here. This thing is 5 m or something. I can’t freak it. Oh yeah, that’s already there. Yeah. Oh,
we have entered the botanical garden, the building of which we are sure that there
will be people inside to maintain the plants and also the place where we heard noises coming
from yesterday when we explored the theme park. I hear people. I hear a lot of people.
There are definitely people in there. Yeah. I checked the front door to see if
we can make our way outside quickly. It’s closed here. I don’t know what to think
of this. It seems quiet, but we don’t take the risk to enter
since we know there will be people. Oh boy. Take a detour to remain unseen. Spring
Botanical Garden here. Another launch. We’ve seen too many of these
here. Have to go back down. Right. Guess these people really like to chill. There’s the place we just been. Now we
hope to get inside somewhere there again. Oh, we we can peek inside too.
That’s also good. Oh, yeah. Ah, there we can walk inside also
easily. I see. There is no way to get into the circus without going
through the botanical garden. Now, we have to be quiet. We take the risk
and hope not to bump into anyone. Time for this one. Nice stage here. Need to go further. Looks like somebody gave them water this morning. Where someone is coming? Heat. Heat. I don’t know where to go. I need that. The guy passes us on the right and we need to make our move now since we have
no cover from the backside. We have to walk straight to the circus. We
are in full view and hope we won’t be noticed. [ __ ] there will be other ones.
Let’s go there. Good job. He was really close. I saw him. Yeah, I saw
him in front of me behind the leaves. I hope it works in. Yeah, but we have to find a
focus something. Not really a cozy place to chill. Watch out because he can see us. We made it through. We made it to the circus. Really epic. Look at the size of the stadium. Oh
my. It’s a really nice circus stadium here. We can also look through
the windows. We see him. Until now. Today was a calm day. Yeah.
Let’s see if you can see the guy. We got a really good overview here. Yeah, maybe I will sit for a few minutes. Oh,
yeah. I have two sweaters on and I’m sweating. Yeah, because it was really tricky from the
front. We were totally covered with the jungle uh uh plants but from the outside this whole garden
was totally open and I saw that the guys coming front of us and I wasn’t sure if he comes to that
around now could be around the next plants that would get some water but you could see how well
maintained it is of course and we said it before if there’s one place that has to be maintained
is the botanical garden. Yeah. And today morning we also said that we will push our luck. There
is a big chance that we will be catched. Yeah, that’s a horse, right? It’s pretty cool. Take
a seat. Breaking. It’s really spooky. A few times already. We heard a door slamming. Like
if someone entered this place, you wouldn’t expect anyone to come in here. But still, I
don’t know. Andre, you have to look out. Damn. I feel the same tense as day
one at the Aqua Park. Yeah, totally the same. Yeah, there
is one construction line just I wonder how many seats there are here.
It’s not like any European circus. This will be our escape route because yesterday
we were right there when we had to escape. And here a good overview of the botanical
garden. It’s quiet and time for us to leave. Time to get out, but with another exit. We will try if we can open some doors in the
main entrance of the building since our car is parked there. But there’s also a staircase.
You see? Yeah. Let’s take the big one. We don’t know if the door on the other side is open. And
if so, we have to go through multiple buildings and walk a long way back to the car. Making the
chance bigger, we will bump into other people. Yesterday we were here and also here. Okay, this
is good. Yesterday we tried these doors here. No, they have a lock on it. But maybe we can hear. This is brricked. [ __ ] This is all breaked up. Looks like we’re going on the ground again. It’s a dead end. Oh, don’t tell me. It’s
a dead end. There’s a staircase going up. Would be good to go out. Ah, more
to the left. But yeah, it’s tricky. We are too high, right? No, this
is not going to work out. I think it’s a dead end. Yesterday we wanted to be in here.
I know. We wanted to be there. sucks. Is that Jesus Christ? We feel trapped
and can be spotted at any moment. Oh, it’s a nice one. You see? Yeah.
What does it say? Yard and one hotel. And you can feel the temperature drops
dramatically. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The humidity, right? The temperature
drops. So, let’s see where we end up. Oh, fresh air again. We are at the door where the guy
was sleeping. He’s probably still there. But we maybe can leave this place.
There are many options from here. Yeah. Oh, but everything is open. It’s a bit obvious. The guy is still there. Here’s a guy sitting next door.
It’s a miracle he didn’t hear us, but we’re still trapped and
need to find a way outside. That’s also good. Let’s peek out of the window here. Where are we? There’s no way out here. We tried the door
we had in our mind as our escape route, but we have to go through the botanical garden
one more time. Let’s hope that door is open. Jesus Christ. Hey. Yeah. Just uh we know our way right here. Yeah.
We did this before. We’re just going to go there and go for it way. That was pretty
thrilling, eh? We run into people twice. really close car and probably you know the
people say oh yeah you give them a few R&B and you’ll be fine but you never know what
happens. Yeah and with these poor people Yeah but you cannot drive these people because
the job is the only thing they have. Yeah it’s good to be on known grounds again. Yeah, this thing we know. Oh, hey. Hey,
but so far so good. Good job, babe. Jesus Christ. The only bad thing is that now we
will be really far from the car. This place again. Oh yeah. And we’re safe again. Jesus. What?
We made it. We made it. Oh my god. E. Oh, we can take a rest in this uh villa. Yeah. Too bad
that the hot spring is not working anymore. Yeah, that would be really good. We haven’t been
here, darling. No way. After five days, these must be really heavy. Good luck
lifting that up. It’s massive stone, I think. I can’t even move it. So, yeah, it’s time to leave
this area because uh I think we just got filmed. Yes. Maybe he was just on his phone, but
it looks like he was filming us. Yeah. So, time to leave. Time to
leave. It’s what we came for. Well, the end of day five. Jesus,
what a way to end our adventure. Oh, we can say bye to the castle there
and side. Crossing the terrain. Yeah, it’s a miracle that we didn’t get seen or
spotted. CS, today we had at least I don’t know four or five really close call. Yeah. Yeah.
But uh it’s also good that we leave now because I think uh this car was getting too obvious and
we as well because there are no foreigners and they see a foreigners walking there. Yeah.
Yeah. I think we did what we wanted here. We deserve this, eh? Oh, yeah. It’s going to
be a feast. Oh, again. Again. Oh, boy. Cheers, guys. This is the end of this series.
