【DAISO MEGA STORE in Tokyo】Complete Tour of the Kinshicho Location!

Hi there! It’s Ruber. Today, I’m going to introduce a place you definitely don’t want to miss when you visit Japan—DAISO Kinshicho. Many travelers who come to Japan
really enjoy shopping at DAISO. But here’s something you should know: DAISO stores can be totally different
depending on the location. Some are small, and others are huge. And the products they carry?
Also completely different from store to store. This time, I’m taking you to one of the biggest DAISO locations in Japan—the one in Kinshicho, Tokyo. The Kinshicho DAISO is on a whole
different level in terms of size and product variety. It’s over ten times bigger than a typical DAISO store. You could spend hours there and still keep finding things you want. In this video, I’ll show you just how amazing the DAISO in Kinshicho really is. If you’re coming to Tokyo, this is one store I absolutely recommend checking out. Let’s get into it. DAISO is Japan’s most famous “100-yen shop,” with over 3,000 stores across the country and locations in more than 30 countries and regions around the world. So, why is it so popular with tourists from overseas? Here are three big reasons: 1. Super affordable, surprisingly high quality Whether it’s stationery, kitchen tools, or storage items, DAISO products are packed with the clever, thoughtful design that Japan is known for. 2. Perfect for souvenirs You’ll find chopsticks with traditional patterns, folding fans, cherry blossom-themed items—
things that honestly don’t feel like they cost just 100 yen. 3. A fun way to experience Japanese culture Many of the items reflect the unique lifestyle and everyday wisdom of Japanese people. Even just browsing is an experience on its own. So for travelers, DAISO offers three things all at once: budget-friendly shopping, practical souvenirs, and a bit of cultural sightseeing—all in one place. Store Tiers and What Makes the Kinshicho Store Special Did you know? DAISO stores actually come in different sizes— or “tiers”—based on their floor space and product range. Small stores are about 200 square meters. They carry the basics—daily necessities,
stationery, and household items. Medium stores are around 500 square meters. You’ll find more variety here, including kitchen tools, beauty items, and storage solutions. Large stores are about 1,000 square meters. They offer even more, like snacks, home decor, and seasonal goods. Just walking around is fun! Extra-large stores can be as big as 3,000 square meters. That’s three times bigger than a large store, with tens of thousands of items. These are the flagship locations—
and they’re pretty rare. In fact, there are only a few extra-large DAISO stores in all of Japan. And in Tokyo, there’s just one: the Kinshicho store. That’s why it’s such a special place,
and totally worth visiting during your trip to Japan. Location & How to Get There So—where exactly is the Kinshicho DAISO located? The nearest station is Kinshicho Station. From Tokyo Station, it’s about 8 minutes
on the Sobu Rapid Line. From Shinjuku Station, it’s around 25 minutes on the Chuo-Sobu Line. No transfers needed—super easy access. Kinshicho Station is also surrounded by
shopping malls and restaurants, so it’s a convenient stop during your sightseeing in Tokyo. We’ve just arrived at Kinshicho Station.
Let’s head over to DAISO from here! It’s only about a 5-minute walk from the station—
very convenient. The store is located on the 6th floor of ArcaKit Kinshicho, a large shopping complex. And since it’s directly connected to the station, you won’t have to worry even if it’s raining. Here we are! Exploring the Floors At the Kinshicho store, the entire floor is taken over by DAISO. It’s huge—and honestly, kind of overwhelming in the best way. Pretty impressive, right?
Just look at how spacious it is! Once you step inside, you’re surrounded by rows and rows of colorful products. It almost feels like a maze—but a fun one! Let’s walk through and check out
what they have, section by section. Kitchen Goods A wide range of clever tools designed to make cooking easier and more fun. Every shelf is packed with ideas! Storage & Home Decor You’ll find sleek, minimalist storage boxes and stylish decorative items that can upgrade any room. Beauty & Cosmetics A great selection of affordable Japanese beauty items and
face masks—some of which are hard to find outside Japan! Stationery Functional and cute—Japanese stationery is super popular
with international visitors, and it’s easy to see why. Snacks & Food Items Instant miso soup, matcha sweets,
traditional rice crackers— this is your chance to taste Japan
without leaving the store. Fashion Items Seasonal clothing at bargain prices.
Yes, you can even pick up affordable fashion here! Hobbies & Toys From fun crafts to toys for all ages,
there’s something for both kids and adults. Gadgets & Tech Accessories Smartphone and PC accessories are fully stocked too—
plenty of useful finds for your daily life. So—what do you think? This kind of variety is something you
only get at a flagship-sized DAISO. If you’ve only been to a small one before…
this will totally blow your mind! Products Over 100 Yen When you think of DAISO, you probably think “everything’s 100 yen,” right? Well—surprise!
Not everything here is just 100 yen. Some items are priced at 300 yen, 500 yen, or even 1,000 yen. These are part of DAISO’s premium product lines, and they’re actually really popular. But don’t think of them as “just a slightly
more expensive version” of the regular stuff. In many cases, the quality-to-price ratio is so good, it feels like you’ve found a hidden gem. So if you see something that costs a bit more— don’t skip it. It might be totally worth it. Other Superstores So, are there other
extra-large DAISO stores outside of Tokyo? Yes—there are!
Not many, but a few exist across Japan. Here are some of the big ones besides Kinshicho: Giga Funabashi Store in Funabashi, Chiba Osaka Umeda Store in Osaka Frespo Yashio Store in Yashio, Saitama Tsukashin Store in Amagasaki, Hyogo If you’re traveling around Japan,
these might be fun to check out too. But in terms of convenience—especially during a Tokyo trip—Kinshicho is still the easiest one to visit. Also, don’t forget to check out
DAISO’s official website. You can browse the latest product releases
and even look up store locations. It’s a great way to plan ahead—make a list of what you want to buy and which store you want to visit. I’ve added the link in the video description below, so feel free to take a look! So—what did you think? The DAISO Kinshicho storeisn’t just another 100-yen shop. It’s more like a shopping theme park where you can experience Japanese lifestyle and culture all in one place. Here, you’ll get a taste of what Japan is all about:
affordable, practical, and incredibly cute. If you’re visiting Tokyo, make sure to add this store to your itinerary— right along with places like Tokyo Skytree and Asakusa. And no, saying “you’d be missing out
if you skip it” isn’t an exaggeration. It really is that good.
