Riding 700km Searching For Paradise In Thailand đŸ‡č🇭 Motorbike Adventure

[Music] Hello everybody. Welcome back to the channel
and I’m so excited because I’ve just finished   an epic road trip along the Mekong. But we’re
about to begin the next one. But we’re gonna do it instead of seven videos, we’re going to do
it in one because I’m here at the two river point, the two color river point I should say in Ubon
Ratchathani. That is the Mekong. Over there is the Mun River and I’ve just finished a huge road trip.
It’s been so amazing. I’ve now decided that I want to reposition and I want to go to the beach.
I want to have a cold beer at sunset. I want to go to tropical paradise. The weather has changed.
It’s the perfect time to head to the islands. And so we’ve got three stages to get to paradise. The
first is going to be the hardest mentally anyway, and that is to drive through Ean. I’ve got
to make my way through Ubon, Sisaket, Surin, and Buriram. Four huge provinces with, let’s
face it, not a lot to look at and experience along the way. I will try my very best, but it
is going to be a long slog through rice fields, rural farmland, not many mountains, not many
views. So that’s going to be the the toughest part. Then after that, we’ll turn left and follow
the handle around the border of Cambodia through   the provinces of Sa Keao, Chantaburi, and Trat,
where hopefully we’ll see a little bit more, do a little bit more, and break up the drive
because it’s going to be 702 km from here to a pier where we’ll get on a boat and make our way to
tropical paradise, beautiful place. And hopefully if all goes smoothly, we should get there in two
or 3 days. I don’t have the biggest motorcycle. I only have a CT125. So, we’ll go slow and we’ll
just go safely. And yeah, I just thought I would document this reposition from the middle of Ean
on a beautiful sunny day all the way through Ean and around to tropical paradise. Come and
join me today and yeah, enjoy the ride. [Music] Let’s begin. I just want to show you this. So,
there’s my bike, right? But look at this one.   It’s got a helmet. The entire bike has a helmet
and some kind of rain visor. Although, if the wind was blowing quite a lot, it wouldn’t really
keep you that dry. But that’s very creative. It’ll keep you out of the sun. It’ll keep you
out of some of the rain. And if you do crash, at least you got your helmet on. This is my
bike. Okay, I’m sure you’re familiar with it, but if you’re not, it’s a CT125. Small engine.
Too heavy. You know, I’ve got my backpack, I’ve got my cameras, I’ve got my drones, I’ve
got all kinds of crap that I shouldn’t have, but you know, how else do these videos get made?
And so, yeah, we’re going to leave this gorgeous little temple. actually and begin. We’ve got to
drive through Ubon and Siset before hopefully we’ll get some fuel. And I want to I want to
revisit somewhere where I had a little bit of a mental breakdown one day. I’ll tell
you the funny story uh as we go. [Music] Right then, let’s go. Leaving Ubon
and heading all the way to Trat 700 plus kilometers away is kind of intimidating
when you think of it as one long ride. But by breaking it up into three stages, I think
it becomes more manageable mentally. Anyway, the first few hours are just about getting out
of Ubon and across Sisette. And just as I had thought, the ride was flat with not a lot
going on, not much to look at, just fields and farms as far as the eye can see. [Music]
Near this random junction in Sisakeet Province, I wasn’t too far away from an important place
that I wanted to revisit. And I want to share a story that I mentioned earlier because it was
quite interesting last time I was here. [Music] So welcome to Sisaket and welcome to the famous
glass bottle temple. The scene of a crime. My only biggest crime against Thailand, I think,
was committed here. So, let me tell you the story just because it’s nice to revisit somewhere. So,
4 years ago, I was on a mission to go to every single province in Thailand on a little motorcycle
similar to this. Anyway, my mission was just to go to every province, make a video in every province.
And by the time I did the north, I did the south, I left Ean almost to the last part. And the reason
I did that was because it’s a big big space. And I just thought there was more interesting things,
beaches and islands in the south, mountains and   villages in the north. and Isan was just kind
of like a really um desolate place in my mind, somewhere that I wasn’t really um super excited
about going there. But when I did come to EAN, I did actually really enjoy myself. But it is
a big place. It is a really big place and I was starting to run dry with creativity,
energy, enthusiasm and I was mentally, physically, emotionally fatigued. And
when I came to Sisette, I was like, “Okay, there’s not really much here. There’s not really
much to do.” And um I had a look online and this glass bottle temple seemed to be the most visually
interesting place as a point of interest to make a video about or at least one section of the video.
And I drove all the way here from the town. Man, I got here and I was disappointed. It felt
like a building site. It still is. Um,   and it didn’t really blow me away in any way.
And I had a little bit of a mental breakdown. Um, and I just said to my audience, if you were
following me back then, you’ll remember I was over it. I was really, really over it. I was
over EAN. I was over traveling. I was over driving a motorbike. And when I got here, it kind
of like this was the breaking point. I was like, I’m not having fun anymore. And then I limped
into town, took a couple of days off, reset, and   then carried on going. And eventually I finished
the provinces and eventually um I got it done. And I always vowed to come back to Sisette and
rediscover it as a province and make a whole new video about it. But I’ll be honest with you, I was
thinking about doing this honestly. The other day, um you know, I was looking at the map and I was
like, I could go back to the glass bottle temple.   What else is there in Sisette? There’s still
not much to do. In fact, this whole region, these provinces that I’m driving through in this
first part of the video, it’s just it’s just rice   fields. It’s it’s rice fields, farmland, there’s a
there’s a highway, there’s a there’s a main road, there’s a few gas stations, and that’s about
it. And I really um I really thought this place would at least make an interesting segment of the
video, but as as as far as temples go, this one, you know, you would think, oh, it’d be really
cool. And I think I saw something on Instagram   where I was like, “Oh, it looks amazing.” But
when you get here, it’s really underwhelming. So anyway, I’m back here now. I’m in a different
headsp space. I love Ean now. And I’m sorry, Sisette. I’m sorry if you come from Sisette and
um you saw my video because it was a little bit   derogatory. It was a little bit rude because it’s
not Siset’s fault. Siset is a beautiful farmland province. Everyone I’ve driven past today has got
a big smile on their face. Everyone in this little   village seems really friendly. But I just um
yeah, this was the scene of a bit of an emotional, physical, and mental burnout. And it happened
right here. I’m going to keep driving until the sun starts to go down and then make a make a
plan. I just want to get as much distance covered. I want to get this section, this this EAN section
over with ideally because it is going to be long, flat, and relatively dull in comparison to
driving in other parts of Thailand. [Music] Now, I am fully aware that riding a motorcycle,
a small one, across Thailand for 2 or 3 days might not sound like everybody’s cup of tea.
Most travelers like to enjoy booking things   ahead of time, right? Whether it’s their
accommodation, their transport, activities, they want to enjoy a stressfree, enjoyable trip.
And that’s where the sponsor of today’s video, Cluke, come to the rescue. Cluke is a fantastic
travel app that you can download for free on your phone and book things ahead of time so
that when you land, most of your trip can be   sorted. Just download Cluke or visitcluke.com and
type in where you’re going and you’ll find tours, hotels, transport options, SIM cards, and loads
more. Cluke can really help alleviate any stress about the unknown when it comes to a certain
destination, especially Thailand. Download Cluke   on your phone. It’s completely free. And make sure
to use code Paddyy Doyle at checkout because on certain specific activities and listings, you can
get a cheeky little discount. However you want to have your adventure, Cluke has you covered. All
right, let’s continue on. The next section was just about crossing Serin and Buram. Two large
provinces with endless countryside, rice fields, and the odd village from time to time. Not
too much to report. Probably the highlight was   getting to enjoy a nice sunset as the afternoon
rolled into the evening. All I needed to do now was find a place to stay before it got dark.
Okay, welcome to the middle of nowhere in I think we’re in Buri Ram. I’m almost certain of it.
I’ve just punched somewhere in on my Google Maps. Cat. Uh, can I have one one room? Okay. 400 500 Haroy Croy. All right. I’ll take the fancy room. Haroy back. I park here.
Oh, this is convenient, isn’t it? Oh, my hand is numb. I’ve been
twisting my acceleration thing   all day. Vibrating like crazy. Can’t
feel my thumb. Five. I’ll write back. I should probably have checked the room before
I pay him, but let’s have a look. I’m sure it’s   fine. Oh god, I’ve gone into the future. Oh, a
big double bed. That’s definitely going to be as hard as a rock. I can tell. There’s Wi-Fi,
there’s a fridge, and there’s a pretty decent looking shower. Well, that, my friends, is stage
one complete. That was the most taxing part. We’re just a little bit over halfway. And uh yeah,
that was just um a long day of driving non-stop. I only pulled over to refuel three times, fill
up my water bottle three times. I haven’t eaten anything. I actually normally I don’t eat when
I do these two day drives. I like to do a water fast because I’m not really using any energy, so
I don’t get that hungry. Plus, when you do fast, you kind of go into a strange euphoric mental
state. So, it really helps me stay positive and active and uh it might sound strange, but not
having coffee, not having food, and just having water always seems to give me a clear mind um
and put me in a in a good mood, which is strange, but if you’ve never done a water fast, try it.
Just do one day or two days and your gut will thank you and your brain will thank you, but it’s
pretty torturous at the end of day two. So, I haven’t pushed myself past 2 days before. Anyway,
I don’t know if we’ll make it to the boat in time. We might do if there’s a late afternoon boat to
the island, but chances are we probably have to take another boat the day after. Anyway, that’s
for another another problem for another day. [Music] It’s a foggy one this morning. Not sure
how I feel about driving in the fog, but uh I do have highlights or fog beams
or whatever you call these things. Okay, so day two, stage two. Follow it around the
border of Cambodia through Sakial, Chantbururi, and down towards the pier. I don’t know because
it’s 5 hours on Google Maps. That’s normally 6 hours on my bike. And then with stops and, you
know, toilet breaks, things like that. It’s normally 7 hours. That’s a long day. So, I don’t
know if we’re going to make the pier in time for a boat over to the beach. Um, if we do, great. If
we don’t, we’ll just find another place like this. Two stages to go. Full day of driving and then
a boat and then try to find somewhere to stay. [Music] [Music] Yeah, a foggy start to the day on day two,   but we pushed on through and eventually the sun
broke through. [Music] It was another long ride, but eventually something interesting appeared
on the horizon for the first time in 2 days. I found a fun place to have a
little break. Check this out. So, this is a temple complex in this limestone
cliff behind me. It’s all flat around here, and then there’s this big limestone cliff, and I
think it attracts these monkeys. There’s also a   really beautiful cave with a temple in there. So,
I’m just going to basically pull over here, use the toilet, and let’s uh feed the monkeys because
you’re not supposed to normally feed the monkeys,   right? But look, they uh they encourage it here.
Wow, that’s a lot. We also sell peanuts. Um, and then this is like fish food, but the monkeys
like it too. Monkey like the peanuts. Yeah,   but they also like bananas, right? Or was
that just a stereotype? All right. All right. [Music] You want to take one? Yeah. Help me feed the monkeys. [Music] Fun little place to stop. Um, these
monkeys are relatively friendly, actually. There you go,
mate. He’s even got a tattoo. I don’t know if you can see that. Hopefully, I
can zoom in for you. Um, on his arm, some kind of marking up there. You can see the staircase,
staircase, staircase. And there’s a nice little viewpoint up there. He’s not quite sure. He
thinks it’s a trap. Just take it, mate. Relax. There you go. Yeah. You want You can have it.
Go on then. You can. Okay. Now, bit of a random place to stop, but just somewhere fun I wanted to
revisit and show you. In the middle of nowhere, flat lands, random mountain, loads of monkeys,
and a cool little cave temple. Anyway, should we crack on? We’re not quite at paradise yet.
Although, if you liked monkeys, then yeah, maybe this could be paradise for you. But for me, no.
not the biggest fan of uh our fourhanded friends. Eastern Thailand is so underrated and it’s
a region that I need to come back and spend   way more time in sometime in the future. I just
stopped here really to refuel and to rehydrate, but I couldn’t stop noticing all of the
beautiful mountains in this region. You know,   not a lot of people know that eastern
Thailand has some beautiful mountains. And I just checked my map. I remember visiting
the most beautiful little temple/waterfall right in that mountain behind me. So,
let’s um let’s have a little stretch of our legs. I’ll show you a beautiful
little waterfall. We’re making good time. [Music]   So, there’s two reasons why I’ve stopped here. The
first is I need a break. My ass, my legs, my ears, my wrist. It hurts. Um, it’s been 5, six hours
already today. So, I need a little bit of a break. I want to stretch my legs. And this is the perfect
place. If you’re ever going to Coach Changang,   Kokuz, all right, and you’re driving, stop here.
I’ll leave the link in the description. Good job, Zelda man. You’re doing such a good job, darling.
Well done. Absolute legend. Not far to go and then you can take a rest for a couple of weeks cuz I
can’t take that to the island. Remember seeing this guy drive past me earlier, cap? Okay. So,
it’s still 200 B for a foreigner or 100 if you’re a kid. Come. Oh, 10 B. Yeah, let’s do it. We will
be stretching our legs in a minute, but I don’t need to walk for 500 m up the hill wearing all
my gear, sweating my bollocks off. [Laughter] And just like that, we’re transported into
the rainforest. It really is a beautiful,   untouched province, this one. We’re still in
Chantbururi. I’ve got a few videos of this area on my channel if you are interested in learning
some more. But what we’ll see and the reason why I’ve come here is to stretch my legs. There’s a
beautiful little stouper up there covered in moss. It’s a beautiful cheddy. You see this
shape replicated all over Thailand.   Sometimes they’re absolutely huge. Sometimes
they’re covered in sparkly diamonds and gold. This one is just being slowly reclaimed
by the jungle and I love it. All of the   moss and the plants and there’s
even flowers going on it now. But what’s really cool is it lies just
in front of the view of the waterfall. So they have Yeah, I remember now. They have like
a rocky area where kids can just paddle and then they’ve got a rope where you’re not allowed to
swim past. Um, but it is quite deep and you can   swim and the waterfall just seems to just spawn
out of the jungle and it it’s incredible. I mean, this is a huge peak, so there’ll be lots
of rain. There’ll be lots of water coming   down the mountain creating these waterfalls,
but this one is particularly beautiful. So, let’s imagine you’re leaving Bangkok going to
Kochang Kok, right? If you were in the car, this would be about 1 hour before the pier, and
it’s on the road to the pier. You don’t need to   make a detour. It’s literally on the way. So if
you’re going to Kang Koku in the car, pull over, have a have a break here because from here it’s 1
hour to the pier and it really is quite beautiful really. I’ll definitely come back here. Uh this
province, I mean Chantaburi, these mountains that   I’ve driven through, I haven’t really gone into
much depth. I haven’t really explored them that much, but I know there’s like camping, national
parks, and there was elephant crossing warning signs the whole drive for the last 2 hours. So, it
really is like a wild part of Thailand. Beautiful part of Thailand that is completely overlooked
by the rest of the well the world in comparison to the north and the south. Eastern Thailand.
I’m not talking about Isan. I’m talking about eastern Thailand, the the bit of land between
Bangkok and Cambodia. We’ll we’ll just drive straight to the pier from now and we’ll ask them
any boats and if we’re lucky, we’ll get on a boat this afternoon. I don’t think that’s going to
happen. And I think realistically they’ll say,   “No, it’s full or you’ve missed them.” And then
we’ll find a place to stay and enjoy sunset. Okay, looks like mother nature is putting a spanner in
the works. So, behind me, looks like a beautiful day, doesn’t it? But then we turn around, massive
storm, huge storm. I’ve just checked my weather radar app and the pier, the town near the pier
is currently getting absolutely drenched. And then the island that we’re going to will get
it afterwards, probably around sunset. So, even if we did get to the pier in time, do we
really want to cross the water in the rain,   in the in the wind, right? Do we want to arrive
at paradise during a storm? I think not. So, I’m going to take this moment to uh put a
rain jacket on, put my camera equipment away.   We’re going to go into the rain, limp into a town
near the pier, as close to the pier as possible, and find somewhere to stay. Okay,
let’s see how wet we actually get. I didn’t think this was going to happen cuz look,
there’s nobody here. But there is a ferry at 400   p.m. And with the weather, the weather was
like so forecasted to be terrible. And then it just completely stopped raining. My jacket was
flapping in the wind because I was going 70 km an hour trying to get down here in time to maybe get
a ticket. Anyway, let me go give her the money cuz   literally the boat’s about to leave and I need
to get unpacked and take everything with me. Thank you so much Zelda for driving us not only
along the Mong but all the way from Ubon Rajatani to the pier here basically. Anyway, I’ll see
you in a week. All right, I think. Anyway, I haven’t booked anywhere. She wants to know
where I’m staying because it the ferry is 600 B,   but it includes a taxi to your hotel. But I
haven’t booked anything. I had no idea. Honestly, I’ve changed my mind so many times today.
Oh, I’ll just stay on the mainland. No,   I’ll get the ferry. Oh, maybe I’ll go to Karmac
or maybe I’ll go to Coco or maybe I’ll take Zelda on the car ferry to Code Chang. They’re
all in this area. I’ve just been following my mood and following the w the weather. I’m
not exactly sure if it’s the fast ferry, the slow ferry. I haven’t I don’t know what
I just grabbed everything from the back of my motorbike, hoping I got everything. Big
camera, drone, fancy lens, extra parts. clothes. We should be fine. I’m just going to
quickly book a room. One night, we’ll stay We’ll stay three or four nights, but I just need one
for tonight. I want to find a place facing west and not too expensive cuz we’re just going to
be there one night. Okay, here we go. 3,000 B. It’s quite expensive, isn’t it? I mean, it’s
$100, but Okay, this is a bit better. 1,00 1,700 Thai home stay. Looks like they rent
motorcycles as well. If it is good,   we’ll stay a couple of days extra, but I’ll
just book one now. Seems to have decent reviews, standard king room, pay online,
1,700. We have accommodation. Zelda is safe. I’ve got all my stuff.
And the ferry leaves in 7 minutes. [Music] All aboard. Okay, let’s get stage three officially on the
move. [Music] So, this was actually the slow ferry, if you can believe it. It was speeding
along, but they do have smaller speedboats that cut across the water in just 45 minutes.
But I preferred this slower 1-hour ride. the distant islands of Ko Chang and Karmac. They
looked beautiful in the distance, but we weren’t heading to those islands today. [Music] And almost
exactly an hour later at 5:00 p.m., we arrived. This is Coco, a truly beautiful and underrated
island, and I can’t wait to explore it once more. Okay, so when you arrive on Kokud, it includes a
taxi to your hotel and they have all the different hotels on different taxi numbers and then you
just go find your taxi. It’s the sun sets so early this time of year. If you’re watching
this guys, it is now November. It’s 5 and it looks like it’s going to sun set any second.
Hopefully, we can get to our accommodation, dump our bags, change into some shorts. All
right, nearly there, guys. We’re nearly there. [Music] Okay. The uh gentleman at this place
called Al Thai. Uh this is my room. Isn’t it lovely? Got a garden view, but it’s 800 m from
the beach. and I told him I would really like to watch the sunset. Um, and it’s happening right
now. So, there’s my room. Isn’t it lovely? Here’s the pet turtle. You all right, mate? How you
doing? And, um, he’s going to he’s got quite a few turtles. Um, yeah, I’ll be I’ll be back in
uh 35 minutes after the sunset. Thank you. Can Can I borrow this? Thank you so much. All right.
You’re the best. He’s like, “Um, oh, I’ll get you coconut water.” And checked in. I went, “No,
is it okay if I just go straight to the beach?” I haven’t been to this beach before. There’s
a beautiful temple right next to it. As you can tell, this island, Coco, is way more of a
vibe. It’s way more rustic and and local than Ko Chang. And obviously way way off the beaten
path in comparison to Co Simui, Phuket. This is like honestly this is the island I recommend
to people the most when they want tropical   paradise with just enough going on. Just enough
textbook paradise. Tiny little beach right there. Big beach to the to the left. This pier is perfect. I think we
caught the sunset by like 10 minutes. Okay. So, welcome. I haven’t formally introduced
you. This is Coco. So, Kokun is a huge island and it’s just jungle in tropical paradise and it’s
got one road. It’s got three little villages and it’s got a handful of resorts and it’s really off
the beaten path and it is textbook paradise. Okay, it’s one of the few remaining islands that is
this big, this beautiful and so underdeveloped and so under the radar. It’s been such a great
735 km journey all the way from Ubon through Isan around through the provinces to the pier on the
boat and we’re here just in time for sunset. So, let’s enjoy sunset together. I don’t have
a beer. I’ve just realized I didn’t have   time to grab one. Anyway, priorities. Thanks
for watching and if you’d like to watch our adventures on this island in Coco, then you
can you can watch it right now. Click here. That’ll take you to a video of our experience
on Coco. Ah, what a journey. Thanks for joining   me. And if you enjoyed this video, like and
subscribe. Loads more adventures coming soon. [Music]

  1. Thank You ALL so much for all the recent love and support in the comments. It really does mean the world – especially since I love to focus on the positive aspects of Thailand – Travel – and the world around us!

  2. I've been married to a Buri Ram lady for 37 years. We've been up and down the country on multiple visits (we live in the US). Yes, rural Buri Ram is boring as hell. But you know what? After a few weeks on the road, sometimes in hotspots like Bangkok and Phuket, it's a welcome respite.

  3. I think you may be correct about the northeast, but the best part of that area is the people. It may be a challenge to capture that on a you tube video. You may need to get creative. Love the show. Cheers.

  4. You should get on the ferry no problem with a motorbike. If you have a car it often happens as you queue to go on–you are 'by passed' by regular island traders and big construction trucks which take up many car spaces! It's the old 'chestnut' of travelling across to Koh Chang. You just have to wait for the next Ferry. Bit of a downer but TIT!

  5. Thank you Paddy for an amazing series. It was a joy to watch your videos at the end of the day with a glass of whiskey and experience Thailand through your adventures. Sent your video to my best friend in hopes of doing a similar trip in the future. Cheers and looking forward to your next adventure.

  6. Nothingness is the exact reason why most of the bar girls and prostitutes in Pattaya, Phuket, Danok and BKK are from this area (Buriram, Sisaket and Surin – no economic hope). Of course you get most of the rest from the rest of Isaan. No wonder you had a low last time when travelling in this area (I was following you even at that time). Buriram city is reasonably good for a day or two with a few night spots. The most important place in this area is Phanom Rung in Prachinburi just outside Buriam (south west direction) very close to Nang Rong only 30 mts on route 2117. I can't remember you visiting that site – a 12th or 3th century Khmer ruin very big (Phimai near Korat and Phanom Rung are the biggest Khmer sites in Thailand). I saw it when I did Korat to Ubon this sector in 2015 in a car (a week). It is a beautiful site.
Monkeys can have rabies, deadly. Be careful. No cure, you last only 4 miserable days max. I have seen rabies patients.

  7. Cramp Buster…I have Carpal Tunnel from 40 years of IT,…only way I can still do long rides is with the Cramp Buster…
I have Family in Isan…and Love Farmland…so it fits my style…my goal is to ride every dirt road I can find on a map in the NE…

  8. Hi Paddy, I live in Sisaket and when I'm biking to Koh Chang etc. I always stay near monkey mountain just outside Sa Kaeo( halfway point). There a great night eaterie near a lake and a resort where the rooms are converted trucks . Beautiful area.cheers

  9. Paddy, now that you have realised what makes you interesting to your viewers, you are much more watchable. When you disappeared to Bangkok for over two months because travelling through big miles of unchanging countryside was not inspirational, you came across as a softcock. Many people gave you a pass but you were reneging on your mission and expecting us all to pretend it’s okay if you’re a softcock. Now you seem to have realised it’s okay to fail but it’s not okay to pretend you weren’t weak. You’re a great video maker, I love your work. Own being a softcock happens but not looking for excuses makes you a legend. Loving your current videos.

  10. This really is our most favourite Thai Island!!! Please visit Suan Nai Koh Kut Resort, It is so authentic and he and his old mother will be blown away if you will visit their placeđŸ€©

  11. Love it , love it , love it ❀ you are keeping me inspired for when I will be back in Thailand in February, thank you for your great content paddy ❀

  12. When you go back to Chanthaburi make sure you visit the Moonlight at Chan Homestay. Amazing place to stay, owners dog Soba is so lovely. Wat Khao Sukim is a lovely mountain temple and plenty of waterfalls nearby

  13. Hey Paddy, would you say that there are also some more lonely times during this Mekong Trip? As it's mostly in rural less touristic areas and I guess there aren't a lot of hostels on the way

  14. Great video Paddy. Thank you so much. Maybe one day you could visit Niall Harbison’s (Irish Guy,) who set up Happy Doggo Land. He has one hell of a story to tell. They do amazing work., situated in Koh Samui, Thailand.

  15. Looking forward to the next adventure. Don't rush take your time and be safe. I love watching rural countryside. Have a great trip!!

  16. @PaddyDoyle Ohh Paddy, you're giving me a headache… but don't worry it's not the painful type… I've watched so many of your Thailand travel videos over many months now since I discovered your channel and you have shown so many beautiful places that I could never get to see so many of them…if I do get to live in Thailand in the near future.

Always looking forward to your next video. Thanks for the beautiful places you take us.

  17. This channel is by far the best channel on thailand. Very enjoyable watch very informative great camera work and editing.
Sometimes I forget I'm actually watching YouTube.
    Great content 🙏

  18. headed to Thailand jan 2026… question? have you been vaccinated for Japanese encephalitis? I am interested in Khao Sok and other rural wanderings and I have found mixed info on whether or not it is necessary… Can you help out with your own experienced based opinion? Also can you rent a click scooter and ride from town to town on the highways?

  19. I mean Prasat Preah Vihear
ប្រាសាទព្រះវិហារ is in Sisaket – depending on which side you are 😅

  20. The one big question I have after watching your videos for years is how do you go for a hike (or whatever) and your possessions do not get stolen? When we go anywhere, I don’t even trust my helmet being left on my bike. Thanks Paddy

  21. Did you have to leave your bike behind? I could have sworn one of the ferries to Koh Kood can take motorbikes, but maybe it was only once a week?

  22. That doggy is so cute!! Arguably the best part of the video! 😂
Thank you for the great content as always! Huge fan of yours!
