【栃木】ロープウェイと鬼怒川ライン下り【鬼怒川温泉】

Experience both the Kinugawa River Rafting and the Kinugawa Ropeway with a special discount! The river rafting and the ropeway are within walking distance of Kinugawa Onsen Town . This time, we’ll take advantage of a special package deal that includes the river rafting, the ropeway, and free shuttle service to the ropeway station . The river rafting boarding point is here . The ropeway boarding point is here. The ropeway is open year-round, but the river rafting is only available from mid-April to late November . Purchase your set ticket at the river rafting boarding point 20 minutes prior to your scheduled boarding time . The boat departs at 11:55 AM, and you’ll enjoy a 30-minute river cruise. Around 12:30 PM, we’ll stop at Otoro Drive-In for some dango and grilled sweetfish while waiting for the shuttle bus. We’ll board the bus at 12:45 PM and get off at Kinugawa Onsen Station at 12:55 PM. We’ll then board the shuttle bus to the ropeway, which departs at 1:15 PM . We arrived at the ropeway station in a few minutes. The gondola can accommodate 30 people. There are several chairs inside. Once everyone is ready, the ride departs. The ride takes about four minutes, so we arrived at the summit station in no time. When we descended, we first came across the Floating Garden Observatory. Nearby was Monkey Mountain. At the Ropeway Summit Station, you can buy monkey food and feed the monkeys. A little further up, we came across a rest area and a sign with a face-out sign. After passing through the torii gate and climbing the mountain path, we came to the Soryumon Gate and the Onsen Shrine. It took about 40 minutes to look around, take photos, and then return by ropeway. From the ropeway station, we took the free shuttle bus back to the Kinugawa Line Boat Ride sign. It took less than an hour from the shuttle bus stop to the return trip. If you plan your trip accordingly, you won’t waste time. I decided to head down the mountain early to catch the return bus, but I could have taken a little more time to explore. I’d love to see the winter snow scenery, too. We have to give the monkeys a snack. They speak slowly, so you can understand even at double speed. Please also use the chapter list in the description. The Kinugawa River Boat Trip can be enjoyed from mid-April to late November. You can register at the boarding point on the day, but it may be fully booked. The trip operates even in the rain, but may be canceled if the water level is low. We recommend making a reservation in advance, online or by phone. There are 12 boat trips per day. The boat dock is a 5-minute walk from Kinugawa Onsen Station . We boarded the boat in late October, just as the autumn leaves were beginning to change color. The boat we reserved departed at 11:55 AM. Please register 20 minutes before departure. We happened to see the boat disembarking. I knew the boat was going to be disembarking, but by chance, I was there. I could see it from the window on the life jacket side of the boarding reception counter on the floor where the boat disembarkation counter was located . It’s incredibly high. It’s 5x speed. We waited for a while, sitting in a chair near the reception desk or on the second floor, until an attendant called us. Around 11:35, an announcement was made to descend to the riverbank. When the announcement was made, adults grabbed a yellow life jacket and descended to the river. There were stairs leading up to the riverbank. There were two restrooms halfway up the stairs. There were no restrooms on the riverbank, so we made sure to use them before departure. In late October, the leaves were just beginning to change color, and there was still a lot of greenery. On this day, the river was low in water, so the trip might have been canceled. We arrived at the riverbank. If you want to sit at the front of the boat, descend to the riverbank early. However, sitting at the front requires you to hold up a plastic bag with both hands to protect yourself from spray, so it’s not ideal for those wanting to take photos. From other locations, you’ll need to hold the bag with one hand facing the river, leaving you free to hold your camera or smartphone with the other. There were chairs under a white-roofed tent, so we sat in a line and waited for departure. Two boats were leaving at the time I was boarding. Grab the plastic bag hanging from the tent and board the boat. Take off your shoes, put them in the bag, and take it to your seat. We sit in two rows, starting from the front. There are seats underneath, and floats on the sides. Once everyone is on board, we receive an explanation and depart. The boat is full to capacity and very lively. <1,200 yen per photo.> Whenever water splashes on you like this, the boatman will call out to you and raise or lower the plastic. Tateiwa Bridge and Hotel Ohruri. Kinu Tateiwa. There is an observation deck on top of Tateiwa. The view from the observation deck. Whenever water splashes on you like this, the boatman will call out to you and raise or lower the plastic. The boat ride takes about 30 minutes. Along the way, there is a waterfall on the left. This is the deepest point of the river. There are also places where you can touch the river. As you approach the dam, the river stops flowing, so you will be towed by a motorboat. Otoro Bridge, a suspension bridge, and Shin-Otoro Bridge. After passing these two bridges, you will soon reach the end of the journey. We arrive at the pier a little after 12:30. We climb the stairs to Otoro Drive-In. You can return your life jacket and pay here if you requested a photo. There’s also a video of our boat ride in early summer, so please take a look if you’d like. A playlist of Kinugawa Onsen videos is included in the description. We wait here for the Otoro Drive-In shuttle bus. The wait time varies depending on the day, but it’s probably around 15 minutes. There are plenty of delicious dishes, including grilled fish and oden. I had some dumplings. They were sansho miso flavored. There’s also a large rest area behind the restaurant. You can see the Kinugawa River. Unfortunately, no trains came. I’d like to see a steam locomotive here. Be careful not to get left behind by the shuttle bus. The shuttle bus arrived around 12:45 PM. I got off at Kinugawa Onsen Station around 12:55 PM. The Kinugawa Ropeway is a 5-minute drive or 30-minute walk from Kinugawa Onsen Station. It’s within walking distance of the Asaya Hotel and Kinugawa Onsen Hotel. When I visited, I bought a combined ticket for the rafting and ropeway, so there was a free shuttle bus from near the rafting platform . The bus departed at full capacity. You can see the Asaya Hotel. After about 5 minutes, I arrived at the Ropeway Sanroku Station. Even after getting to the top of the ropeway, there are many stairs. Since I already had my ticket, I simply went through the ticket gate. The ropeway runs approximately every 4 minutes. It seemed like it would depart when it was full. It was still empty. There were two seats, each large enough for about four people. I waited for the people from the full bus to arrive. Watch the four-minute journey from departure to the summit at double speed. I realized later that the staff member was waving the whole time. The tinted windows make it look a little dark. We arrived at Summit Station. There are some clear glass sections, but I couldn’t get a good shot from here. My arms weren’t long enough. The scenery turned out a little brown. At the summit, there are the Floating Garden Observatory, Monkey Mountain, a rest area, Onsen Shrine, and Soryumon Gate. Leaving the station, there’s the Floating Garden Observatory, but if the stairs are too difficult for you, you can still enjoy the view from here. Climbing the Floating Garden Observatory stairs leads to the Floating Garden Observatory. You can see Monkey Mountain below. We walked around the entire area. Monkey Mountain is a popular spot for kids. You can buy monkey treats and feed them. Monkey Mountain monkey treats are available at Summit Station. A pack of eight costs 200 yen. Use this long-handled spoon. Enter Monkey Mountain. Humans walk through a passage surrounded by wire mesh. It feels more like we’re in a cage, being watched by the monkeys. I immediately give this monkey a treat. These two monkeys were the only ones isolated. I wanted to give one to the monkey in the back, too, but he wouldn’t come near me. The monkey in the back had a messy fur… The cookie didn’t seem to fall off the spoon easily. What a great design! The monkeys seemed satisfied with one, and didn’t come back again and again to beg. The monkeys’ spirit of sharing! Impatient, they licked the wire mesh. I felt sorry for the monkey that had passed by without noticing . There was no food left. This is the end of the passage on Monkey Mountain. You can see the Floating Garden Observatory. A little further up, we’re in front of the rest area. This is the rest area. Drinks and other items are sold at the summit station. Go through the torii gate over there and continue climbing, and you’ll find Onsen Shrine and Soryumon Gate. We climbed the narrow ridge-like path between Onsen Shrine and Mt. Soryumon . The leaves were beginning to change color, and the scenery was beautiful. This Soryumon Gate was installed in June 2020, so it’s still new. Onsen Shrine enshrines the gods of matchmaking and health, medicine, and hot springs. There’s a bear warning sign. These two dragons will grant one wish. Who’s that?! It’s not me. I’m heading home. It seemed like the people who arrived on the shuttle bus were leaving together. An hour’s stay might be enough. This time, I got on from this spot. The ropeway was packed on the way back, too. < Kinugawa Kawaji Onsen, about two and a half hours from the Tokyo metropolitan area,> hot spring resorts in the Kanto region,> > is Edelweiss Ski Resort, which is directly operated by our company.> a free shuttle bus also operates from Kinugawa Onsen Station> <to Edelweiss Ski Resort > <Also, just a five-minute drive from the ropeway is> < from mid-April to late November> < the Kinugawa Rhine Boat Trip> <a boat trip renowned as the pinnacle of natural beauty> <a rafting trip colored by azaleas in spring, fresh greenery in summer,> < surrounded by beautiful autumn leaves in autumn> <enjoy a boat trip that allows you to enjoy the changing seasons.> < The boarding point is a four-minute walk from Kinugawa Onsen Station> <the boat trip is approximately 40 minutes, 6 km.> <Please drop in.> Most of the announcements were business hours. <We will arrive at the foot of the hot spring mountain shortly.> <We look forward to seeing you again.> <Please be careful when disembarking, as there are stairs> <please take care.> Arrival. Finally, we saw off the ropeway we had taken as it departed again. We then took a shuttle bus back to the station. The end. Thank you for watching until the end. Please come and see us again. See you soon! Traveling Snow Leopard
