We visited Tatishina, Japan. Hidden nature spot just 3 hours from Tokyo. We rented a car and drove from Tokyo to Nagano Prefecture. Highways in Tokyo are quite complicated. PJT has entered its third year this season. We started our business in 2022 as the pandemic was ending with photo tours and bar hopping experiences. Back then it was just us. Now we have over 200 guys. It’s fascinating how different regions in Japan have their own unique styles of ramen. We went trekking to a nearby waterfall. The water was incredibly clear and the air felt so fresh. Checked in at Sano Tatisha. It’s a luxury cottage brand with locations across Japan known for its spaces and architecture that blend beautifully with nature. Enjoyed the fresh natural air in the sauna. The scent of wood felt refreshing and pure. The opening light was so beautiful. For dinner, we had matsun at a nearby diner. Later that night, we talked with the TJT team. What began in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka has expanded to all 47 prefectures, and we’ll keep sharing the charm of Japan with the world. Do you know about 69% of Japan’s land area is covered by forest? Exploring Japan’s nature a day in Tateshina🌳
We visited a place called Tateshina in Nagano this time.
Tateshina is a peaceful mountain resort known for its beautiful forests, clear lakes, and relaxing hot springs.
And this is the accommodation I stayed at on this trip.
The fusion of nature and modern architecture was absolutely incredible.

We started this tour business three years ago, and since then we’ve welcomed many guests.
What began with just two tour guides has now grown to over 200.
