【奥羽三楽郷湯野浜温泉の奥座敷】『奥湯野浜温泉龍の湯』「洋室(ダブルベット1台+シャワーブース)」宿泊記
I came to Oku-Yunohama Onsen Ryunoyu! This hot spring is about a 15-minute drive from Shonai Airport! It’s a little far from Yunohama Beach, about 6 minutes, but it’s a nice, quiet inn surrounded by greenery! By the way, Yunohama Onsen has been open for 1,000 years! Apparently it’s one of the “Oshu Sanrakugo” (Three Pleasures of the Oshu Region)! (I looked it up) This is the inner sanctum of this historic hot spring resort! I was so excited! When I entered the entrance, I was greeted by a dragon plate and a tattoo mark on the noren curtain! What a nice font… and behind the noren curtain was a huge lobby plaza! There are two check-in stations, so you can check in as much as you like♪ Opposite is the lounge, with apple cider vinegar for 1 million yen~🍎And , as you’d expect at a hot spring inn, there’s a local tourist guide zone . The lounge/rest area has a large number of lazy chairs, including stylish lazy chairs… as well as a large number of lazy sofas. There’s also a work desk with a great view, and in the back there’s a display that looks like it belongs to an old lady’s house . Is this… art of an old man with an eyeball…? ? 🍳 This area is also a grandma’s house . An old man… a fish with a human face?! Yes! Let’s go find it!!! Is it you…? ? (I don’t know…) I give up in a second and head to my room! I slowly walk down the second floor corridor to room 201. Naturally, I poke the key type in, assuming the longer one is the room key! I always have no idea which way to turn it💦 Open♪ Once you open the front door, you’re in your room in 0 seconds♪ (lol) This time, it’s a Western-style room (one double bed + shower booth). There are only four rooms in total, and it’s the most compact room♪ But it’s still more spacious than most business hotels♪ What’s the view from these four limited rooms…? Horizontal louvers and a forest view!! There ‘s also a lounging chair for single occupants , and the usual hot spring welcome treats~♨ The double bed makes an impression♪ There’s only one pillow for pillow fights, and an ORIGAMI art piece above your head . And what’s on the bedside table…? A Tattsu phone outlet with a suitably ancient feel …? A light fixture! 💡 Next to it is a digital clock and flashlight🔦 The entrance and bed are nicely divided by Japanese-style vertical louvers, and suddenly, flower art appears in this Japanese-style room! (lol) It’s equipped with nanoe technology, and the air is great… Opposite the bed is a study desk with a huge TV, quite big for this room… On the study desk are the remote control, books, and more books, I guess the books are the inn’s manual? At the back is a small mirror and power outlet, but no USB… And in the bottom right is the mini bar corner, everyone’s favorite ♪ The Tatsu water is water from Dewa Sanzan, a Japanese heritage site!? At the back is an electric kettle, made by Tefal, and the teacups are made of wood, a hearty type💪 What’s in the drawer above it, where the mystery deepens…? Powdered tea…🍵 And, unexpectedly, from the back is a LAN cable… Why is it here? Next, turn right! I discovered a mysterious door!! I put off solving the mystery for now! Below is a safe , and all the mysteries have been solved! An unexpected storage space! There ‘s plenty of room for Emon in the mini storage space, some Tatsu logo-emblazoned li〇sh, and underneath that are some fun hot spring goods!! Toothbrushes, hand towels, and Muji bags… flimsy towels and yukatas with Tattsu logos!! A yukata covered in Tattsu logos…fold them up neatly♪ Next, let’s take a look at the bathroom on the left side of the entrance. It’s surprisingly quite spacious (lol). The sink has a huge area around it, allowing for a lot of space to spread out♪ There’s just one washbasin, and I thought it was big enough, but what’s this thing on the right… for? ? The washbasin here is made of plastic, as it’s in the bathroom? Under the counter…? Dora-chan is backstage…? Behind the scenes? ? The refrigerator is in a surprising location , and of course it’s empty , but it has a temperature control function! There’s an ancient dish cabinet above the mysterious washbasin , and a tenugui hook under it, just like you’d find in a hot spring♨What ‘s with this semi-see-through door…? The shower room is just as I imagined, and there’s a hot spring…? ? The liquid soaps are the big ones , and there’s a Shiroemon hanging in a place like this? Is it to deal with odors? ? Osomatsu-san logo? ! What’s behind that Choromatsu door…? As expected, it’s a toilet, but why is it Juushimatsu…? It even has a washlet for your peace of mind♪ Yay! This is the room, it’s tiny… (lol) But there’s even a shoebox at the entrance! 👞👞 There’s even a slipper identification device! That’s convenient! Well, everyone wears the same slippers after all… Next, let’s take a stroll around the building♪ First, in the souvenir shop, there was a wide selection of local Yamagata sweets, which I feel like you see in every hot spring around here…? This area is also local, and as I was looking around thinking, “I love my hometown♡”, I also found some that were seriously love♡!! (lol) In the back there was a folk art corner with tenugui stamps? Limited edition…so cute! The summer you were there, it was salty (salt cider). Next was the foot bath “Sunny Spot.” Bring your own towel, or it’ll be a disaster (lol). It’s pretty spacious… it could fit 50 people (just kidding). The hot spring source (spring water) flows in from the hut over there. There’s a mat for your bottom, and it’s all gentle on your bottom . And then, the main dish! The large bath – Suimei-no-Yu, open from 11:00 to 9:30 the next morning, is obviously not mixed bathing (sorry…) . This hot spring! You can enjoy two types of spring water! An alkaline simple spring and a chloride spring. You’ll definitely want to soak for a long time! This inn also has a private bath called “Komorebi” (Sunlight Through the Trees)! A 45-minute session costs 13.2 million yen, isn’t that the price for day-trippers?! It’s quite spacious ♨, families will be very happy! In front of the private bath is the massage room “Utatane,” which seems like it’s only for one person…? Relax with various courses ranging from 20 to 120 minutes! ♪ When you exit the hot spring, you’ll find a rest area right in front of you! You might think it has a nice hearth, but it’s off-limits! (lol) You can drink the cold water, but you can also drink the hot spring soup, which is not too cold . Drink the hot spring water at a leisurely rate of 100ml to 200ml per serving. ♪ Opposite the rest area is a historic photo gallery . While taking a walk, I discovered an amenity bar! It’s a convenient system where you can replenish any supplies you don’t have in your room, so I just skipped over it (just guessing). Next is the vending machine corner. The world-famous Hoshizaki brand is hidden away. Juice packets cost 1.3 million yen , tea 1.5 million yen, and gasoline (beer) 3 million yen… 17 ice cream is about 2.4 million yen, but that’s about right… It’s also equipped with a microwave, so it’s nice! ♪ Next is the laundry shop. It has a very old-fashioned, separate type of laundry. 30 minutes of drying is 1 million yen, which is cheap…? Does that mean you can do your laundry for 2 million or 3 million yen? Okay! Since I’m wandering around, let’s eat! Dinner is at “Dining Ibara”! There are 50 kinds of a la carte menu! There is Tsurugaoka Castle at the entrance… and also a sleeve clasp, isn’t it the best? Rock oysters… I got hit with them once and can’t eat them (tears) Inside is a reasonable size, let’s sit down! Gasoline menu, draft beer mug 8.4 million yen 🍺 As expected, there is a wide variety, and there is also a local Japanese restaurant that is a bit of a mystery 🍶 So oysters… should I eat them? (lol) This time I stayed with a plan that includes the standard kaiseki “Rakusai” course ? Is this the standard? There is such a wide variety♪ First of all, we start with the appetizer platter and drink it before eating! The apricot liquor For starters, we had mokoroshi tofu and local delicacies 🐟 (Shonaihama assortment) . Oops, I forgot to fill up on gas 🍺 This is what you need after a bath! Recommended Japan 🍶 Quick Reference Guide! ? Use it as a reference! The stylish plate is Suzuki-san (grilled salted sea bass). Thank you, mammoth Suzuki-san, plump Suzuki-san ♪ A cold bowl arrived , containing uribo (winter melon). A warm hot pot has also arrived ━━━━(゚∀゚)━━━━!! And the three sacred treasures have also arrived ━━━━(゚∀゚)━━━━!! Shiromeshi Hatsuyahime Tsukemono (pickles) and miso soup (miso soup). The brand name is listed in the upper left corner of the Japan Quick Reference Guide 🍶!! While I was looking closely at these local sakes, the hot pot started to boil! Iwagaki (soy sauce)!!! (Cry) Well, I did eat it (lol) For dessert it was clafoutis… who…? Well, it’s like craft beer, right? (No) I poured this on… and it was done! It was delicious! The curtains that rise manually were activated!! Dread… what’s the weather like today…? 🌲☀ Breakfast was at the same dining room as last night’s dinner. There was no one there when I arrived first thing in the morning♪ Lucky♪ Looking at it, there are quite a lot of seats and even private rooms, so breakfast is a great buffet-style meal. First of all, leaves (salads) are important when traveling. This area is a warm zone, so an energizing breakfast?! Tamakon (nyaku), 🥚 Brothers (boiled, scrambled Shibuya), strong flavor♪ (Chikuzenni) , Western items (sausages, etc.), blue fish (mackerel), TOFU (tofu) options, morning staples (cereal), stomach medicine (yogurt), I might have something even colder in the fridge … (lol), fondue!? , boxed daughter breads, the machine is a two-tiered konnyaku , and of course it’s fully equipped with an extrusion machine, this is the drinking corner, white rice (Tsuyahime) , miso soup, this is the rice accompaniment corner, the Tsuyahime marriage army… what!? I love it♡ (natto) , Nebatoro Brothers (tororo) , Tsukemonos (pickles), Makimaki, Dashi-maki , yes, the winner! Leaves are super important, I love brown for justice ♡ Tsuyahime Options♪ Shiny Princess👸Miso soup with cod, from the fish refrigerator that represents the ministry, thank you for the meal after taking some stomach medicine… Oops, I forgot about the fondue… BANANA🍩Goodbye with fondue… Oku-Yunohama Onsen Ryunoyu… A very historic hot spring resort that opened 1000 years ago! The hot springs are amazing, the food is amazing, and it’s simply the best inn♪ Highly recommended!
