ここで暮らすなんて想像できますか?カンボジア、トンレサップ湖の水上村を覗いてみよう🇰🇭

so we are going to take the boat on the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia it’s incredible it’s a proper Village on the water so once you reach this place where it’s flooded already if you stay in the other side of the village they don’t have any bedroom they have to sleep on the floor with the mosquito net apparently there’s even a homestay here in the village we decided to go all in and we’re taking the canoe through the mangrove forest out of their skin they make uh clothes and things and they eat them Cheers Cheers hello thank you thank you time for the tour oh no no sitting together so the name of the village that you guys got to visit today we call is Kampong Phlik did you know how many people that you guys got to visit today at Kampong Phlik Village we have a thousand family but 5,000 people over there we got to show you guys two different thing of the house we have the floating house at the local stilted house today we also see the local floating Market school pagoda Catholic Church crocodile farm and the Mongrove Forest also in june you cannot ride in the boat you need to walk on the river but when you visit to see the floating no floating lay on the ground but right now the water rise up so they follow the water because they floating with a a bottle or the long bamboo with a boat when you see the house a bit higher more than the water that is not the floating one that is a stilt house when you see the house nearly to the water they moving that is a floating house with a bottle but in the dry season no water they don’t want to get stuck on the ground they can follow the water they move the house go in the middle of the lake did you know how do they move in the house not by the pedal not by the stick so you need to pull in the house behind the boat all right off we go we are ready to go into the boats yay we made it to the Village us and other 1,000 people yeah there are many touris coming at this hour oh but this will be a huge boat look oh what a a good occasion to use such a big boat it’s huge so we are going to take the boat on the largest fresh water lake in Southeast Asia right yes this is what I remember also and what you think on the way is that sometimes if the water level is too high you cannot take the bus here you need to take the boat even here it from previous Village yeah wow very interesting and also he was saying that in June uh there’s barely any water on the river so you cannot take the boat yeah so that would be the worst time to come here thinking you can go on a tour in June yeah so we are ready everyone please my group oh this boat you can go on the rooftop up here found the best spot yep that is a police station when you was on the bottom to the house of this one you will see the look the ticket right there in the front one that is our community Hall the community Hall you know the people here this hospital when do we have that 2016 yeah but before before 2016 when the people pregnant they have to go to the city and then children they have a fever they have to go to the city but now it’s getting better everything is good they have electric all the way from Siem Real they got a hospital they have a school yeah look at this little girl kids are jumping in the water it’s incredible it’s a proper Village on the water everybody is living the normal life here so the guide told us that during the wet season like right now when the lake is full of water people use it to shower and even to cook and to drink it so this is their source of water look at the kids they’re so cute we made it to the first stop here at the Pagoda and there’s a school hello there’s a school here the kids are so cute s if we couldn’t let you know this is a class of the children learning this is a free school for my local people stay on this lake so in one day we got two time on the school some children start from 7 in the morning they finish at 11:00 and another children start from 1 to 5 why they have two time at the school for one day because we don’t have enough class for the children learning that’s why we have to take two time for one day just only the dry season children enjoy cycling by bicycle or walking to go to school when the water rise up to get flood around here all the children when they go to school they need to ride by the canoe boat but when they go to school they have to go by their own no mother no father try to bring them to go to school because all the children stay on the village they know how to use their canoe boat to go to school already when you guys walk with me already and then after that I show you the video the place that you walk with me this is a the place I use a canoe hanging around more than 10 people but only one family no two families two but some people one family they have uh six to seven children they stay one house but some people they have two family they have to stay together like small family not too many children but when they sleep inside of the house they don’t have any bed or room they have to sleep on the floor with the mosquito net one mosquito net they sleep it there three to four people that’s why when you got a mosquito net you can choose the place to sleep everywhere people in the city they have a lot of money they can buy 100 kilogram 50 kilogram keep on the house for eating in my local people stay in this Lake they need to buy one or two kilogram a day yeah depend of the people if they got more money you can buy a lot of rice to keep on the house if you don’t have that much money you have to buy Day by Day Some people say like why the children come to touch me because they are so Dirty that’s why I’m so angry apparently there’s even a homestay here in the village where you can feel the local Vibe and uh sleep just like the locals the dog has a hairstyle so yeah but uh as the guide said they don’t have beds they only have the floor and mosquito net hello some they don’t oh you can volunteer here oh so nice you’re welcome please everyone enjoys a photo of my local people because now the water getting flood in the road imagine oh yeah yeah imagine so once you reach this place where it’s flooded already if you stay in the other side of the village you need to walk or Swim not swim right now the level is Low but you walk in the water like this girl you see she’s walking home from school so what are we doing here Canoe are you going to drive it or not yeah no not you see the local people are here waiting for us okay we decided to go in and we’re taking the canoe through the mangrove forest for an extra 11 for the both of us and uh it looks really nice already I like the boats that they are so colorful and I love that this is a good way to support the community this provides the the ladies and sometimes the men with many jobs so it’s a good and it’s going to be fun it should be it looks so beautiful yeah ah in the front this is the front oh okay hello Okay show them the ticket smiling see you the next restaurant okay okay bye wow I can’t believe we are doing this so funny a proper mangrove forest look how many people are waiting for their turn to drive the canoe we can support the locals so peaceful you want something Smile have floating Market coconut thank you we really really enjoyed this activity and uh the locals are super nice actually we will leave you down below the link and if you are here and uh you want to be part of this adventure in the future sorry and look at the space that uh they used to sit in order to navigate such a narrow space such a good balance actually our guide is waiting for us he he seems to be so happy all the time but people here seems to be super happy and actually the dogs they’re super happy too you come into boat come come into the boat uh so uh please get up one by one yes one by one lady first back yeah you look good yes thank crocodile okay let’s see the crocodiles oh they’re babies this one ah but their parents think ah okay oh my God so these crocodiles I understand that out of their skin they make pores and things and they eat them yeah they eat their meat as you’ve seen in Siem Reap where they have burgers with crocodiles and pizza with crocodiles but they eat everything here you’re like it’s like you at the but look how big it is this is the moment when you realize that this is the largest fresh waterer Lake in Southeast Asia it’s huge but can you imagine that in June it’s barely any water here I mean it’s unbelievable that all of this water dries Cheers mine is better I’m sure oh okay you can’t refuse take away yes how cool wow this is one of the best beer we can have Sunset and deliver to the boat yes guys it’s been such an amazing day wow incredible yeah strongly recommend you do this tour because uh it’s something you don’t see every day and uh it’s a good place to do it especially not only because of the places but also because of the people as I was saying 1. Super authentic village & life ❤️ I really regret we didn’t spent the night in the floating village.

  2. Love you guys for visiting Cambodia. I live in United States . But never been in Cambodia all my life. I feel so sad when I watch your video.

  3. Every country in the world have "Racism and Discrimination", but in Cambodia we don't have that,
    so, which mean :
    everybody is friend,
my food can be your food,
my thing can be your thing,
my home can be your home,
my money can be your money,
and if you're married to the Khmer woman and there will be a whole thing to you, etc

It's the reason why Cambodia is so special, and it's the reason why you went to Cambodia and you don't want to leave. It's just perfect and best home
