Hi everyone, welcome back to the channel. We’re at the Mandarin Hotel in Itan. This is the lobby, the first floor. Reception is on the second floor. Let’s take a wander up and get checked in. Yeah, we’re on the second floor. Looks like the check-in counters are down here. I have to say this is quite the hotel here. This is Oh, yeah. Check out right here. And let’s take a look at the room. Got a closet space right by the entry. What is this down? Oh, slippers. Slippers down there. We got uh bathroom. Iron ironing board in there. And we got a kettle and espresso machine. complimentary box of water. And oh yeah, here’s the espresso capsules in room safe down there. This is my first time staying with uh this particular hotel chain and a Mandarin hotel. I got to admit, I’m impressed so far. The only uh disappointment so far was the uh was a bit of a wait for the elevator and it was kind of full. Guessing that’s a haird dryer down there. I don’t know if these No, I don’t think those open. That’s all right. And we got a little bit of a mini bar here. Oh, this is the uh climate control. There we go. Switches are Oh, I don’t know what’s happening there. Oh, I think it just shut off. And this is sort of a map guide to the facilities of the hotel. I didn’t even look in here yet. Is there Oh, there’s a fridge in here. Oh, mini bar. Okay, I’m not going to open that cuz that will be chargeable. Anything? Uh, this pulls up. No, I guess that’s just a bit of a tray. We got a TV over here. LG Nano Cell with a remote. Hopefully there’s a chcast on there. I can fire up YouTube. watch my get caught up on my daily driven exotics and some of my plane spotting channels. Airline videos live while I’m in the room. It’s always nice to have something like that. JBL clock radio. We got a telephone. What do we got? USBA charging. We got a kind of a universal 220 volt plug. And a lot of hotels over here have the uh control panel for the light switches. Done a nice job on the room. Every day is Earth Day. Not sure what um Oh, that wonder if that’s like coupons for in town. Looks like most of the rooms are about the same size. All right, let’s take a look. I think I covered everything. Take a look at the nighttime view out the window. and and I don’t have breakfast included and I don’t have uh status with this particular brand, but that’s that’s fine. Be nice to uh go out for breakfast for a change. All right, we’re down on basement level two and let’s take a look at the gym and the pool. This is the indoor pool. We’ll just do a quick uh through the uh gym. Oh, you can actually see the pool from here, too. [Music] Yeah, there you go. That’s actually uh quite nice. And there’s a sauna as well. And downstairs of the hotel, there’s a bakery. [Music] and also some shopping. There’s a CU convenience store. And let’s take a wander up. Actually, it looks like even a bookstore over there with the uh lighting on these escalators. And this is the main floor of the hotel. Oh, we got a garden here. [Music] Figured I’d do a kind of a walk through in the daytime. Add it on to the end of the video here. [Music] this coffee bean tea leaf cafe on the right. Some seating area here when you walk in. There’s the uh escalators going downstairs. And this is the uh entrance to the hotel, the bar and the big uh LED screen. And the Cleo restaurant. I think you can have breakfast in there as well. and some more uh dessert and pastries there. There’s the elevators over there. I’m going to take the stairs. Let’s do a little bit of a tour of the second floor. There’s a gym and a pool that uh sounds like the pool you can use once a day, but they’ve got two pools here. So, the one pool they apparently have to pay for. I think that’s that fancy one. [Music] And there is also a bar on the roof. Here’s another screen over here. There’s the check-in counters again on the right. It looks like another bar over here on the left. And I thought I’d take a quick stop by the rooftop bar on a Sunday. That’s pretty nice. I don’t think you have to be staying at the hotel to come up here. I think it’s open to anybody. This is actually pretty nice. And the views [Music] [Applause] And there’s an looks like there’s an indoor section as well. Looks like the uh pool is closed for the season on the fifth floor here. And this is the daytime view. And you can also see the uh famous pool that shows up on their Instagram and the skyline in the daytime. You can actually see the mountains and view from the room. And I think that’s looking south the skyline. I could be wrong. I’ll have another look in the daytime. See if I can see the tower.
