100 Dolar ile Japonya’da Ne Yaparsınız ?
I’ll tell you what you can do in Japan with $100 in a day, through experience . Deniz Uber Arigat Kazayımaz. My God, is there such a service? Evediyesi. They bring fruit when babies are born, etc. These melons and grapes are about $150, so 67,000. I recommend going to Japan just for the people-watching. Nivatori Momoniko. Nivatori Momoniko. You’re not allowed to go inside and take pictures. I don’t want to encourage you. It’s a sample piece brought from space. I mean, the prices are about 40% cheaper than in Turkey. It makes you love it right off the bat. Whoops! It opens its arms. Can’t there be a trash can? Look, one . Have you ever seen something like this? Yes, we’re going to eat the world’s most expensive strawberries right now. Enjoy the show. I hope I have a wonderful trip to Japan too . Here we go. Brought to you by Aura Seblon Unix, Turkey’s leading water purifier brand . Ladies and gentlemen, I’m Deniz Pehlivan. Welcome to the Japanese Sapor leg of my world tour . How are you? I hope everything is going great. I’m currently in Hokaido, Japan’s second-largest island in northern Japan, and I’m in its largest city and capital, Sapora. It’s an hour and a half drive from Tokyo. In the previous episode, I explained how I got here, what I did, and my first day. Today, I want to explore its markets, bazaars, mountains, hills, parks, and museums, and tell you about this less touristy Japanese city. Since it’s an island, it’s all about seafood, but I’ll also show you a fantastic cuisine and gastronomy: meat, meat, ramen, and all that. We’ll be eating amazing things. And do you know what the northernmost country is? Which country lies north of the island I’m on? Russia. So, I’m Russia’s easternmost neighbor. And if I wanted, I could drive all the way to the border and see Russia from across the street. Just think about the size of Russia. For example, Finland is on one side, Japan on the other. I’m talking about the land as if it were an incredible country. That’s why we’re in this position right now. Our goal today is to tour this city together and prepare a beautiful Japan video for you. I expect a record number of likes before the video starts. Also, if you leave positive comments, Deniz, we enjoy watching it, as we do with every video. If Japan is doing great, or if you share your personal thoughts in the comments, you’ll support me. That’s how the algorithm works. So, let’s see what happens when you’re watching me on your screens, at whatever time of day, enjoy your breakfast. If the tea and sunflower seeds are ready in the evening, enjoy your meal. Enjoy! Here’s to a wonderful trip to Japan. Here we go. Our trip begins with the support of Aura Sebon water purifiers . The Japanese yen is now used in Japan , and one dollar is approximately 150 Japanese yen. In recent years, the country has deliberately devalued its currency, and interest rates have increased for the first time in history. This used to be a country where even going to the bank had negative interest rates. So, you’d go to the bank and deposit 100 lira, and a year later, it would give you 99 lira , but in recent years, the Japanese have also experienced inflation, and unfortunately, prices haven’t gone as planned. There was a serious economic crisis. Consequently, prices, especially compared to Western countries, have become very attractive to us, and a flood of tourists have begun to flock to Japan. What episode was this? I’ve been to Japan for 6 or 7 years now, and I’ve mentioned it before. It’s said that Japan has the best last few years to visit . So, keep that in mind. While the Japanese yen is still very valuable, Japan has become much more affordable for us as a vacation destination than it used to be. You see 100 dollars in my hand. That’s approximately 15,000 Japanese yen. Let’s pretend we have 15,000 yen. I’ll tell you what you can do with 100 dollars in Japan in a day, firsthand . There are some beautiful markets and bazaars here now, and we’ll start exploring them. We’ll have dinner and other things. I’ll also show you the transportation. I’m not including accommodation. Because you can stay at the Hilton or a hostel, that’s up to you . But rest assured, two people in a very nice hotel, especially in Sapora, You can stay for $100. I’ll leave it to you to explain where I’m staying and the details . You can find out from there. Let’s see what you can do in Japan with 15,000 yen. That sound is the sound of every light in Japan. The sound of a bird. I’m here right now. Let’s show it on a map. It’s called Tanuki Koji Shopping Street. This street stretches for 1 kilometer or 2 kilometers. There are shops and stores along its length. We’re right in the heart of Sapora. It’s actually a place surrounded by mountains and lush greenery. We’re also close to the sea, not too far away. These are their most vibrant streets, where life continues day and night. We’ll take a walk and see what there is. I want to show you. I want to see some of the restaurants, pachinko, and interesting shopping spots. This place is one of the places that truly gives me the feel of Japan. It looks more rural, but it’s a very large city. I wonder what we’ll see if we go even further afield? We’re excited. Let’s see what awaits us here . Casinos and gambling are illegal in Japan. So how does the place behind me, which they call Las Vegas, stay afloat? They call them pachinkos. Pachinkos are essentially the same gambling system. So, the logic of gambling is the same, right? The games are just different. And its annual impact on the country’s economy is $360 billion. Older Japanese people, in particular, love to come and play. It’s a lousy thing. I’ve shown you and played it a few times. I would never recommend gambling. It’s disgusting. The casino always wins. Poor people like us, too, think they’ll win and keep trying. So definitely don’t fall into this trap. People come here to relieve stress and experience this addiction. There are machines, and you win marbles. If the marbles you win are actually money, you can’t use them. So, you can’t get them as cash. They take you to another building. There, they give you Red Bull, Coke, or Oralet, and you can exchange them for cash. In other words, the physical money is circulated in a different building , not within the casino itself . They say , “Keeping it this way, ” sounds like they’ve set up a system, and these casinos are run by very large people, including Russians, and in Greece, the money goes to them. It’s very common. You see it everywhere. Entering and filming is forbidden. I don’t want to encourage it, but in Japan. You can see this even on an ordinary street , but it was actually a casino. This place is a game place. Tayito Station. These kinds of arcades, arcades. They go crazy. They play so fast I can’t catch them. These games are very common. This is a very common game, too. They play like hitting doubles. They have so many different games. Do you know what the most interesting thing is? Those rooms you see behind me, people go into them, take photos, and collect their memories. And the same thing happens in Korea. It’s very common. They love this. They have such an interesting culture, traditions, and hobbies. In other words, they’re not like us at all. That’s why I say it’s so different. I mean, just think about it. Why would anyone come to a game place and take a photo, print it, or have it printed? But it’s a culture here. There are incredibly addicted to it. You insert about a dollar and try to win these things. It drops from there, and this is usually a trick, but there are some who figure it out, of course. There are people who play it very well. But it’s a game I’ve never won. There are thousands of places in Japan where you can play games like this. Look here. They have very strong addictions like this . In fact, what I told you in the previous episode? Everyone has an anime here. Think about your anime, for example, Pikachu. You’ve been a fan since childhood, you’re obsessed with it. You could marry Pikachu. There are people who marry anime. They integrate it so much into their lives. On top of that, they integrate these games. They live in completely different mindsets. So, you can decide whether it’s right or wrong. But I think this is a bit of a morphine for these people . They live in a fantasy world. They can’t socialize, and they have a constant addiction. Games, pachinkos, anime, they can’t build a life integrated with their normal physical lives . And yes, it’s one of the places with the highest suicide rates in the world. One of them is Japan. Because they get depressed. In fact, they’re such an emotional society that they go on vacation to France, to Paris. They get depressed because they can’t see the Paris they see on TV and in movies in real life. They enter a syndrome. This is called Paris syndrome. The Japanese are actually such an emotional society. I’ve been following these Japanese people shopping like this . I’m looking at everything on the streets and sharing it with you. I hope you like it. Now let me say it again . This is my Japan 3 journey. I ‘ve visited Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, Nara, Hirashima, Miajima, and Tokyo all before . I’ve also made some great videos on YouTube. I’ve created travel guides. Don’t make plans for Japan without watching them. I’ll put it in a playlist to explain the details. Follow my Japan trip from beginning to end there. This way, you’ll learn about the country and feel much more comfortable creating a travel guide. You can follow my recommendations or not, but they’ll be very useful. You can thank me too. Let’s continue our trip. Look, now you’ll hear that sound more clearly as we cross the street. Wait. Man, it didn’t happen again. What kind of bad luck have I got? It doesn’t happen while filming. Dawn is a different planet, you know. The writings are a different planet, the signs are a different planet, the billboards are a different planet. It’s so different. Look at this? There are so many gamblers. This one is one of them. They’ve set it up on every corner. Incredible. They’re so addicted to this fantasy world, you know, they love to play even though they know they’re going to lose. Purely out of addiction. I saw a nice cafe there yesterday while passing by. Let’s have a coffee. Come on. There are some really stylish places. Look, we came across this wooden-designed cafe. Now we’re sitting in a really nice cafe. The cafes in Japan are very nice, but not the coffees . I don’t like most coffees. You like them, huh? I mean, we haven’t had such great coffee yet. I’ll give this one a chance. I mean, it’s really possible. After Bali, this place is really good. Honestly , it’s about coffee. Coffees generally cost between $3 and $5 depending on the location, and they serve such sweet, sweet kooki. If you’re asking, “Why would we go to Japan?”, I ‘d recommend going there just for the people-watching. It’s very beautiful, but good is good, right is right, and wrong is wrong. Their coffee isn’t good. Luckily, it’s a bit cloudy and windy today, but that’s okay. At least we’re walking around feeling the beauty of autumn right now. There’s no rain, and there’s no winter cold. Uber is working very fast here, folks. Let me show you. This place has a very large university. We’re going there. I’ll call a taxi in a minute. It’s 6 to 10 dollars. You can go many places, too . There’s a subway. I’ll show you that later. They’ve built a great museum inside one of the country’s best universities. It’s a must-see. We’re going to Hokkaido University. Come on. Deniz, we’re Uber Argataymaz. My God, does such a service exist? Look, we managed to film it this time . Live. Wait a minute, I couldn’t show you in the previous episode. Did you see it? They open the door. My God, the money we paid is only $6. By the way, we would have paid $5 even if we took the subway. That’s why it’s more practical and faster. The VIP service is incredible. Gloves, coats, suits, razors, etc. Much respect. There are Panthers. But, you know, like in the ’80s, you’d put them in the living room. Yes. There’s a living room above the television that no one can enter. How are you going, Japan? Dawn. Japan is great, but it’s a very different place. Will you come again? It will. Isn’t it? It’s like a place from the future; you can’t see its equivalent anywhere else. Exactly. Not Thailand, not Singapore, not Bali, not Malaysia. It’s a different world. Completely different. That’s why I love it so much. Many of the world’s best universities are in Japan, and the university we’re currently at is Hokkaido University, at its Sapora campus. It even has a museum inside. And the museum behind me is one of the best museums in the world, and one of the best museums in Japan. It’s a 150-hectare complex. They built it, made it a campus. This was a university founded in the 1850s. I’ve never entered a museum inside a university in my life. We drove in. Now we’ll go inside and tour the museum. It’ll be a first for me, too. This museum was highly recommended, so we shouldn’t leave without seeing it. Let’s see if it’s as rich as they say. Come on. It’s a very old building. It smells of mothballs inside. Now we’ve gone up to the third floor. There’s the museum section here. We’ll visit it. But there are also floors and rooms where students are located. You can’t go in there. It’s one of those museums. There are different locations inside. For example, since this is volcanic geography, they’ve displayed samples of rocks extracted from the region. They were samples from Mammaa. It looks like this. For example, the Rugi asteroid is a sample piece brought from space. That black stone was taken from the asteroid . It says the Japanese language here. I translated it with Google Translate. They show it on the screen here . They brought all of these from space as one. They’ve placed the rocks here. Just think, people bring rocks from space. We’re happy to be in Japan, for example. People have gone to space. I could comment, but I’m short on space. I can’t. Just think, just kidding, we live in a world of 4.6 billion people, and there are still so many things we haven’t figured out on this planet, right? But there are still places in the universe where not even sunlight reaches, and other planets that are constantly expanding . We don’t even know about it. And we will never know. In fact, the more you explore the universe, the more you realize it’s just a grain of sand on the beach. Scientifically, we can only believe what we’ve proven so far, but I think there’s an incredible universe beyond belief, beyond science. There’s that theory of relativity, Einstein’s theory that time is relative. There’s even a movie called “Interstellar .” They go somewhere else on Interstellar. One minute spent there is worth 10 years on Earth, for example. Just think, there are things like this in the universe, and we still think we’ve figured everything out. I still don’t think we know anything, but in the last 20 years, we’ve started accessing a lot of information much faster . There was no internet until just before 2000. It used to take weeks, even days, to research and find information. Ignorance was a great virtue. Even though we can now prove and disprove some new things, we, as humanity, still have a long way to go . Why am I saying this? These guys, the Japanese, have 30 Nobel Prize-winning scientists. As far as I know, we only have Aziz Sancar. And because they value science, knowledge, and wisdom so much, they’re bringing that Japanese miracle, especially after World War I , to life with science. This is a beautiful museum, too. We’re wandering around. I wanted to convey a message in this video. All of these are real. Dinosaurs. Look. Crocodiles. This part is so beautiful. Look, this is a dinosaur too. It’s called Latios. You feel like it’s about to come to life when you stand next to it. For example, look at this dinosaur. My God, I feel like it’s about to come to life . In a village that was excavated in Japan in the 1940s. Hello friends. Don’t forget to like and comment on our channel. Imagine if this were alive, running around the neighborhood, etc. Like in Jurassic Park, many things have unfortunately become extinct. We’ve made them extinct. We’ve ruined the world of birds and fish. It’s truly sad. Even though we think we appreciate it every year, we’re actually sadly bringing about the end of everything. We’re making them extinct. You see a real stuffed mammoth. It’s huge. I mean, when you stand next to it, you realize how small it is. Anyway, it’s one of those extinct creatures. We visited the museum, and it was nice. You can see the scientific achievements of the Japanese over at least the last 100 years . Most of it is in Japanese. That’s why it translates when you use the photo feature on Google Translate . Keep in mind: We’re on campus. I feel like I’m in one of those great universities in many Western countries . You know, in American movies, you know, professors riding their bikes to campuses, students, young people in love, etc. I’m feeling that right now. University I’m back in my years. By the way, I also graduated from Istanbul University. Business Administration. Thanks to all my friends and professors here. Their contributions are endless in helping me come this far and understand this world. You see people in the background, riding their bikes to their classes in the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of the campus. It’s wonderful. It’s a beautiful place. Now let’s take a walk around here. Since you’ve come this far, you can see this university for free and visit this museum. It’s a wonderful experience. Now, while I was wandering around the city for a bit, I found a 7-Eleven. I bought a fruit juice. It’s $1. They have everything you need. These are all fast- food dishes, but I’m going to take you to some really nice restaurants. So I don’t want to fill my stomach like this. They have some interesting Japanese chips here, too. Everything looks like a cartoon character on top. See? They love it. They’ve made hot dishes here, but none of them are to our taste. Everything is Japanese. They put sweet chicken on rice. There’s fried chicken over there. Small little ones. They have rice pilaf here . It’s a staple in Asia, and they love it. These are delicious. They’re eaten wrapped in seaweed. I’ve forgotten the name. They have ready-made pasta here. You can just bite into it and eat it. And for example, it’s only about a dollar. Look, they have salmon and salmon here. The fish is ready-made. You can buy it right away. There are salads over there. But even their salads are really tasteless these days. To be honest, they don’t use olive oil or lemon, and there’s almost no salad culture. Everything in Japan is based on rice, fish, grilled meat, or chicken, and in terms of food and drink, you won’t go hungry. This place is also full of alcohol, and it’s very affordable. I won’t go into that now. I mentioned it in the previous episode. Even the straws are very interesting. Look, they lengthen and shorten like this. Oh, that’s great. They have this in other countries , but this was pretty good too. What are we doing here? Sometimes I sit and think, it’s like traveling back in time. One day I’m in Norway, in the Arctic, another day I’m here, another day I’m in Bali, another day I’m in Singapore, another day I’m in Australia, another day I’m in Brazil. It’s amazing. I love traveling the world. I’ve managed to do this much. I hope it serves as a guide for you too. I hope you do better. What can I say? I hope you experience this beauty, this freedom, this understanding of the world . Isn’t there a single trash can? Look, there isn’t one anywhere. I’ll be carrying this around for hours now. I’ll either put it in my bag or throw it somewhere at the restaurant I go to. You won’t see a trash can in any city or street in Japan. Everyone carries their trash around and separates it. They leave it in designated areas. It’s very difficult to get used to this in the country. You’re too lazy to eat or drink anything . That’s why they’re so sensitive about trash. You won’t see a single cigarette butt, gum, or a single plastic bag that accidentally slips out of their hands . It’s spotless; I can say it’s one of the cleanest countries in the world . We found a tech store, from the restroom to the street . Let’s see what they have inside. They’ve set up tech stores everywhere, like in a city. You can find anything you’re looking for, and the prices are about 40% cheaper than in Turkey. For example, a PlayStation or an iPhone, and that’s the difference. I think the same goes for other materials. And you also get Tex-Free. So, you get the VAT refund here. The price is immediately deducted the moment you hand in your passport. You can even come and shop for tech in Japan . Wait a minute. Oh, look, I’m in too. I’m in. I’m in. What happened now? You’re in that one. You’re in that one. Heh, it’s in. Oh, I’m on the right. Okay, I’m in that one . We’re confused, though. We’re playing Mario right now. There’s this game. It’s $400. Can you buy it and set it on the TV? The graphics were great. We’re trying it out. If someone says we haven’t played games in Japan, that’s who I am. I’m on the right. Come on. But which one is the government? Aha. I get lost when I enter these shopping malls. They really have built such large stores that there is nothing you can’t find. That’s why If you have any interests, curiosities, or concerns about electronics, you’ll find everything you’re looking for in Japan. I’ll give you just one example and then I’ll stop comparing prices. You know the DJI drone. The Mini 5 just came out. The Pro Fly Combo costs 63,000 in Turkey. The same one here is sold in purple, the Fly Combo. It costs 150,000 yen. That’s only $1,000. So, a 63,000 drone in Turkey costs around 40,000 lira here . Do the math yourself. I hope I don’t find myself in this situation in the future. You’re single or married, you don’t have children, or you don’t want to. Would you like to have an artificial, robotic child? I showed you this in Tokyo the other day. You know, they made a baby. This is a robot baby. It has a camera on it. It can follow you. If you want a child’s voice at home, you can have an artificial robot, a baby . In fact, look, you come like this. Come, let me pet you. Look, it makes you pet it by the nose . Look, you can throw it in the air. They love it. Look, let me turn around like this, for example. I’m here. A child’s voice at home. The world is going to a very interesting place. We’re getting lonelier. It’s getting less and less colorful . Heh. Come and get it. Hoppa. Hoppa, look, he’s happy. Hoppa, he opens his arms. Hoppa. That’s how you get rid of the love of children. Bye, bye. See you. My son is so scary, he’s lonely. Şafak, just think, after a while, we’ll fall in love with the robot. Look, the robot says, “Love me.” Should I love you? Oh, and wow. Where’s your mother? We just found a random shopping mall. With the crowds walking like this, we followed them. I’ll show you something very interesting . In Japan, they bring fruit as housewarming gifts, for when babies are born, etc. That melon and grapes are about 150 dollars. That’s 67,000. You can also bring just one apple . That’s about 67 dollars. They’ve put out individual watermelons like that, they’re tiny. Look, this one costs 40 dollars no matter how you look at it. So, that’s not a fruit section. It’s like a museum of artificial fruits. They’ve prepared it so meticulously, but I’ve shown you this before. Korea has much more luxury and expensive options. Actually, if you asked me whether Japan or Korea is a tourist destination, I’d definitely say Japan for visual beauty, culture, and so on . And Japan is also much more affordable than Korea. Let this video be a valuable guide for our comparison. I swear, I can’t resist. I’m going to pick these strawberries and taste them. Let’s see if they’re worth it . Yes. We’re going to eat some of the most expensive strawberries in the world right now. Let’s see if they’re worth that much. This tiny little thing costs $6. It smells like tiny field strawberries. Oh, the strawberries of my childhood. They’re so good. We’re eating hormone-free, organic strawberries from Japan. Hmm. Great. The festival here is going on. Today, they’ve set up stalls around a park like this . People are enjoying themselves. We’ve come a long way north. Night falls early here, evening falls, and it gets dark. This place has two important dishes. Ramen is one of them, but it’s ramen made uniquely here. There’s also a dish called Jingungsam, a barbecue style inspired by the Genghis Khan era. They make meat prisolà, more like a cast iron skillet. They also have barbecue restaurants, which are normal. We’ll try them. Actually, there are halal vagu ramen restaurants here, but they’re closed today. Luckily, it’s Wednesday. So I found ramen street. Now I want to eat whatever beef or beef I can and show you. I love it too. We’ll try a few of their special dishes for dinner. We’re hungry. We walked a lot during the day. I took a few photos today. I mean, it’s a very organized, very clean place. You spend time wandering around the streets, avenues, and shopping malls. Sapora is famous for its winter festival and snow festival. It hosted the 1969 Winter Olympics . Since then, it’s become very popular. Tourists also come here mostly in the winter. I wanted to come here because I’d never been here before, and I didn’t want to come in the winter either. For example, in the next section, I’ll show you the villages and the seaside. So I wanted you to understand what kind of place I was in. Actually, this is Japan’s colorful, neon-colored city. A metropolis with giant streets lined with lights. We’re going to eat . We’re excited. Let’s see, it’s a beautiful Japanese evening. I’ll show and tell you some interesting things. I’ll capture them with a camera if I can . Yes. We’ve arrived at Ramen Street. Here we will see a world of places that make ramen. Look, this is one of the famous places that has been making ramen since 1951. Ganso, Ramen, Yokucho. There are a world of Ramayen restaurants on this street. It’s known as Ramen Street. From now on, I’ll eat whatever I can find . I found this place. It serves seafood. No pork. Now I’ll eat that. Because almost all the others have pork or chicken . The place I really wanted to go to is closed. So there’s nothing to do. Ramen is ramen. We’re waiting in line at the place now. They’ll let us in soon. It’s like this. I think its name is Teshikaga, it smells really good. The ambiance is nice too. Come on. I tried so hard, so hard, but it’s not there. They all serve pork. I won’t eat. That’s why the halal thing is closed here. Maybe tomorrow in the next episode, when you watch it. I also want to call it an experience. Because if it’s not available , it’s not available. I won’t force it. I don’t want to eat pork either. At least if you come here, let you know. They make everything from pork. We won’t go hungry. I’ll find something else. Wait, we have a plan B. Let’s consider it. We smelled a really nice smell on the way. It caught our noses and we decided to eat takoyaki. Takoyaki is shaped like this, round [ __ ]. They cook the seafood like this, in a hot area, and it looks something like this. Now we’re going to eat this in a minute. This one costs 600 yen. So, only about 4 dollars. Let’s try our chopsticks. What’s the point, what’s the fate? We went out for ramen. We ended up with takoyaki. It’s [ __ ] H good. It has dough inside. It has octopus. I’ve eaten this a lot in Osaka. It’s very common there too. They also make black dew melon here. This one with octopus. We found another place. We’re going there now. This street is so brightly lit at night . Everyone’s taking photos. It caught my attention. You see ads for all the country’s famous brands. Lots of locals. Look, for example, this is their brand. Their Whisker is very famous. That beer is Sapora’s own brand. And up there, there are some brands with anime characters. I don’t even know what they are, but it turned out to be a brightly lit street like the ones in Tokyo. This is a place. This is a place called Masajin, but there aren’t any seats full. No, we won’t be able to eat today. It really won’t be possible. They love waiting in line. There are four people like that, right? Let’s see. Eating in this city, in this country, is torture. You have to struggle to find a seat. We went to several places and couldn’t find a seat. They said you’d either have to wait an hour or two. So we thought, “How different will the meat be?” We found a random place. Now we’re going to eat the meat. There’s coals underneath. Think of it like a cast iron pan. You cook it on top of that. It’s no different. What we’ll be cooking with it is this lamb, as you know. It costs about $10 per person. So, you can enjoy a wonderful lamb experience for $20, $25, $30. There’s actually a world-renowned restaurant called Jingang Sen , but we couldn’t find a table at the others because we couldn’t find a table. So, we’ll enjoy this one now. And we’re making it over charcoal right now. That’s why I think it’ll be delicious. By the way, have you noticed? I’m getting younger as I travel. You can tell by the energy on my face. It boosts your motivation. It’s truly amazing. You know, I often fall down, but somehow you pick yourself back up. You say life is beautiful, living is beautiful. I’ve been in Japan for so long. This was the first time I felt like I was enjoying a barbecue outside. Normally, you eat at restaurants, but here, it was such a unique atmosphere. They told us to sit outside, and we happily agreed. The weather is beautiful, too. I’m literally enjoying the barbecue right now . Cook it yourself, eat it yourself. We have the same music they play in the background on Sundays . I miss them, feeling like they’re still here. We’ll have some meat. Lamb. The most famous thing here is lamb. We had our meal. We paid about $25-30 per person. It was a lovely evening. It was a meal. At least we got a glimpse of the traditional dinner and the “cook it yourself” culture. Now I want to tell you about another side of this place . There are some things going on in our neighborhood that revolve around nightlife. For example, what? Let me tell you. Look, most of these places are concept venues, but they’re also massage parlors called SOP Land. So, you go in. You can experience a lot here under the guise of a massage. It’s a huge culture. I’ve told you about a similar one in Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo . It’s very common in Japan. There are also certain character venues. You go there, meet women, and Japanese men socialize there to relieve their loneliness. These venues are called bnny. And these ban places are where women wear those character outfits. The entire nightlife industry revolves around these things. You see them everywhere you go around here. Now, I won’t film them, and I won’t show them. And they don’t let you take pictures of their faces clearly . Because they immediately cover their faces. But Japan also has a side like that. These places get even more lively at night. It’s a university district now, and there’s also a huge young population. They go out to have fun, eat, and socialize. Suddenly, a loud noise comes from this billboard. I’m describing Japan’s nightlife in a nutshell. Look, it’s night. Everyone’s starting to fill the venues. These are playgrounds. They’re trying to win those teddy bears. It’s a whole different world. Look, the woman caught it. She didn’t win. She dropped it. They love living in it. Look, I’ll play one. Since we’ve come this far. I have 100 yen. I’ll play with it. I put the coin in. Let’s try it. Look where it landed. We won’t play that then. That was a trick. We’re stuck with the Japanese trick here. Go ahead and try it and see how it goes. It’s not coming right yet. It looks like the angle is a bit different. It actually means coming. Look down. Is it there? It’s there, but it’s not coming. Look, it’s coming here. Look, it’s stuck diagonally. Come on, that’s all. We couldn’t do it. I’m being stubborn, people literally want to win. You get greedy unintentionally. It goes this far, but Şafak is like that. Look, I bought it. Give it back already. Wait, he’ll stay now. Yes. Throw it there. God. Look, this is cheating. He catches and lets go. Actually, it’s like gambling. We failed. We retreat. Let’s try one more time. Look, he’ll catch again. Maybe this time he’ll throw it all at once. Come on, son. You’re Japanese. Let’s get out. These things are rigged. You can’t get out. We spent a thousand Yyen. What happened? He bought it and left it as soon as he bought it. Did he leave right away? No. He doesn’t give it. This is not working. You’re being stubborn. I can really call them the true Japanese stubborn machines. Look, they’re such good people that they saw us lose. They came to us and gave us this as a gift. Someone here is a winner. We’re like that, will you play for us too? We asked them how it’s played. Look at the kindness in Japan. He lost 100 yen because of us. Then he went and won a lot. He gave us one of his winnings with his child. That’s why Japan is such good people. May this be a blessing, I’ll take it to Turkey from now on, to my house in Feth. Have you seen anything like this before? Look at the restaurant’s noodle billboard. I haven’t seen it. It’s my first time seeing it. How did they do it? If anyone knows, please write in the comments. It’s night now. We stopped by one of the yakitrojis here. The chicken barbecue place I told you about , and it’s open until 1 or 2 a.m. The place we went to is called Sumubi Kush. Here, you can hang out and have a drink while also cooking delicious food in a beautiful setting. That’s how it is inside. It’s usually a tiny place, and they cook your food right there on the coals . We’re on the 9th floor right now. You see this everywhere in Japan. Now, we’re going to eat chicken here. Okay. Okay. I don’t understand. They can’t get along at all. They say three or four things in common with zero English . That’s all. Food men yakitori. English no English. Arrow. Now we’ve put English aside. Let’s switch to Japanese. Nivatori Momoniko. They’re so cheerful. They’re so sweet, you involuntarily smile when you order. Let me ask. They love Denska oki. Are you okay? I’m drinking local sake. Adina always carried this with her. This is tradition. Ha, like this. She says drink it. She says steep it. Everyone drinks it. They love it. They love it. They go crazy over sake, both the wine and the whiskey. I showed you the other night in Tokyo. Everyone was on the floor after noon. This is actually the other side of Japan. The sake is amazing. I never used to drink it, but I’ve really started to love it. Now they’ve even barbecued it. As you can see, this whole system here is done over charcoal. That’s why it’s so delicious. And they call it yakitori. Here’s a chicken. It costs about $1 a piece. It’s one of the best dishes I’ve had in Japan. You’ll say, “Deniz, you’re exaggerating how good chicken can be.” How does it really happen? I don’t know either. It’s either natural or it’s because of the cooking techniques. But I may have eaten the best chicken in the world in Japan. It’s as soft as cotton. It’s truly delicious. You can eat 10 of them from now on. You’ll be perfectly satisfied. The flavor is amazing, too. It’s like our nightly kokoreş restaurant. They have fuel shops too, friends. That’s how I spent a day in Sapora, Hokkaido . My goal was to show you what a day looks like if you come to Japan with at least $100, and what you can do . I hope you enjoyed it. I’ll leave the details to the explanation. This is my second time in Japan, and how many episodes I’ve prepared? You know by now. I put a lot of effort into this country. I’ll leave a playlist in the description. If you watch my entire Japan trip from beginning to end, you’ll have a great plan. You’ll thank me too. Thank you for watching . I’ve been to a different place in the next episode. I forgot to close. I’ll tell you about it. We’ll start visiting Japan’s small villages, neighborhoods, and towns. You’ll be watching them. Don’t forget to subscribe to the channel and turn on notifications. I’m also looking forward to your kind comments. Here we go. See you in the next episode . Goodbye. Goodbye. Turkey’s leading water purification brand, Aura Seblon Uni, presents.
