Nishinari Gourmet TV: Japan’s No. 1 Value-for-money Heaven, Nishinari. This time, I came to Osaka, or rather Nishinari. I arrived at Shin-Imamiya!! The streetscape as I left the station was average, with an old man lying down. This luxury lodging is quite expensive. It’s very clean and comfortable, but you can really get the feel of Nishinari. Is it true that Nishinari has become cleaner recently? The town is very clean, but it has a unique smell. It smells like hospital medicine. Do people even pee around there? As expected, people pee standing up next to the wall. There are plenty of public toilets, but… there’s an old man sitting a few meters away. This is the shopping street in the central area. No Yamaki 🙅♂️ Yamaki, but not Yamaki. I wasn’t able to go to the famous real Yamaki, but it’s completely closed. There’s a super cheap supermarket, Tamade, just down the road from Yamaki. There’s an interesting curry restaurant, a pachinko parlor with a nice Showa-era feel, and udon and soba restaurants are also important . This is a great shopping street. The area has a Showa-era feel . There are udon and soba restaurants here too, and a row of bars. It’s scary. Shikaku Park has been renovated recently. It used to look like this until recently, and there are bars lined up around here too . I found a nice bento shop!! When I went to Komaki and Sanya, there was a shop with a wide selection of prepared foods, but this place is even cheaper ! I’ve heard rumors about the vending machine for chilled candy. I’ll go to Sangaria, the friend of the common people. When you think of bento, it’s the park. Shikaku Park . This is the first time I’ve ever had it! It has ginger in it! The Katsu Curry was a bit pricier than the others, but it was 380 yen. I absolutely love it! It’s a sweet, easy-to-eat curry that I’m sure has many fans. It goes well with the soft pork cutlet, and of course , it’s not spicy at all, making it a kid -friendly dish. I’ve heard the name a lot, but I wonder if it’s a Western drink. To be honest, I don’t know anything about Osaka’s geography. Tsutenkaku is right next to Nishinari. It has a lively and bright atmosphere, a typical Osaka tourist spot. I crossed the main street and headed to Nishinari . When taking photos, I was told not to take photos of people. I was told not to take photos of people. I couldn’t get started without eating some hormone meat, right? I managed to get in at Marufuku, which was fully booked, and by chance, I ended up in front of the teppan . My days as a drinker began!! Looks delicious from any angle Beer, hormone 290, 220 yen Goes great with garlic This also looks good Here it comes ~ This also looks delicious Tripe 390 yen I copied the people around me and added lots of garlic Super cheap but feels like high-end Super cheap but feels like high-end Slowly grilled hormone The visual appeal is appealing Squid 290 yen Additional lemon sour Sour 290 yen This is also very satisfying First of all, I had planned to go to this old lady’s takoyaki shop on the first day It ‘s closed, what a shame Now I’m heading to Daitora Shokudo, a famous restaurant in Nishinari I took a picture here too, being careful not to capture the customers In front of me an old man is quietly drinking his pork soup set meal What a wonderful omelet has arrived Large pork soup set meal 630 yen I had looked it up beforehand and decided this was it It’s filled with plenty of ingredients and goes well with rice This was also incredibly delicious Were omelets always such a vivid color? It was fluffy and satisfying, and everything complemented the rice. I wonder how they managed to grill it like this. It’s a great place to visit as you can try a variety of things. It ‘s said to be built to withstand being crashed into by the sturdiest police station vehicle in Japan, and the fire station seems sturdy too. We arrived at Sankaku Park. The parks in Sanya in Tokyo didn’t seem like they could be entered, but this one seemed fine. From a previous video, Sanya looks like this: ↓↓ Everything is available at super low prices. The sunset is spectacular. There were loud noises from biker gangs or something in the middle of the night. Osaka doesn’t start without some takoyaki. I was craving takoyaki, so I ordered a large. I also bought some alcohol… I didn’t know there were alcohol vending machines outside these days. I don’t really understand, but it seems pretty cheap. Since I’m here , I’d like to go back in time and visit some sake. Restaurant: Large takoyaki. Large takoyaki: 950 yen. Alcohol and takoyaki. It has a completely different feel from Gin-da- ko, I don’t know how to eat it, it’s hot and soft, it’s the kind of cup sake that old-fashioned guys have , and of course the octopus is firm and doesn’t fall off, I’ll be learning how to eat it from someone from Kansai next time, Sangaria is a reliable choice in the cheap industry, and soon after I arrived there was an incident… Is Nishinari in trouble!? Me) Is Nishinari in trouble !? Is Nishinari in trouble!? I don’t know what genre it is, but a YouTuber was stabbed here, that’s a lie, I don’t know, I’m sure that person was definitely in the wrong, but I think they were probably filming in Sankaku Park, and if some old man or something got angry and stabbed him, then he’d be dead, I’m sorry, I really don’t know, is that really so? It’s not something that should be talked about, or rather, it’s not a big deal… I’ll be careful for now. There are a lot of ambulances and police cars. I got a little hungry at night, so I went to an udon restaurant just before closing time. Prices start from 250 yen. Matsuya Udon . I want to eat Kasu Udon. It’s
cheap, isn’t it? I want to know the price from a few years ago. I bartered for 600 yen for Kasu Udon. It’s my first time trying Kasu , so I can’t imagine. It’s delicious. It has quite a presence, and the soup has changed quite a bit. The aroma is irresistible. The aroma is irresistible. This feeling is delicious. The TV is also Showa-era. It ‘s surprisingly quiet at night , so I head to Sankaku Park, where they happened to be doing a Bon Odori dance . The Showa-era atmosphere reminds me of my childhood. Places like this are what makes Nishinari so great. After eating udon, they also had fried chicken, but I was full. Shaved ice for 150 yen. A One Cup object. Pachinko Expo… Yes Yes… it’s a festival, so the shelter curfew is relaxed. The scene in Nishinari in the morning. Southeast Asian prices. Manpuku-san. It seems like it was a popular restaurant until a few years ago. There are a lot of bicycles everywhere. A popular local restaurant that’s only open on weekends . A very small restaurant across the street from Tamade. Oden Fukagawa. Slowly simmered oden. Oden Fukagawa. Deep color. If this isn’t delicious, then what is? I ‘d like to go there every week. Apparently this is what happens when you simmer it from the morning. Fluffy rice balls . Seasoned radish. Apparently, customers come from all over the country due to the influence of social media. *Photography was specially arranged! Please note that it is only open on weekends. This hot pot is also well-seasoned. The taste will not disappoint you . No matter what you eat, it’s a sure thing. Local customers were taking it home in Tupperware. 7 types of oden and more for 1,110 yen. My target is Tamade. Imaike Shopping Street. This area seems to be a lively area at night. There are karaoke bars lined up . Karaoke Izakaya is like a girls’ bar? A nice Western restaurant. There is also a large Tamade Manpuku here ! It seems to be in the same series as the closed one . Showa-era prices! The steak is expensive, which is also nice. Take a break at a Showa-era coffee shop. There are many Kyoto retro coffee shops in the Nishinari area, with Kyoto cream sodas and other things that I loved as a child. There are quite a few , or rather, many, retro coffee shops . Iced milk coffee for 500 yen. Authentic iced milk coffee. The stained glass is also lovely. 100-year-old omelet rice. There are other options besides this. This is the night area. This is a popular Chinese restaurant. Of course, Nishinari prices are Unryu. I found out later that their fried chicken set meal is famous for its large portions . There are many tempting set menus. Well, I guess this is it. Ramen set for 900 yen. Looks delicious. Taiwanese ramen and fried rice . Lightly spicy, with a mild flavor . A sure hit . Modern restaurants are also reasonably priced. Prices are completely different in this area. Osaka is cheap!? Perhaps… I’m heading to a certain restaurant. Another restaurant worth checking out: Tachibana Shokudo . Tachibana Shokudo. A set meal restaurant where you can choose your own side dishes. Surprisingly, a foreign language. There are a lot of foreigners here. < The person who was yelling about beer was quickly kicked out. Fried udon, hamburger steak, small rice, pickled vegetables. 400, 250, 230, 100 yen. Hamburger steak and fried udon cooked after ordering. Rich soy sauce flavor. Salt level aimed at manual laborers. Unique to Nishinari, apparently there are many strong flavors to suit the tastes of workers. I want to eat it with rice. As with Sanya, there are a lot of police. My senses are numb. Cost-effective vending machine coffee is available for 60 yen. It's very cool, but it's closed. I turn right into the shopping street and head to the nearby okonomiyaki restaurant. There was only one customer there . Michitose is very popular. The okonomiyaki restaurant is the perfect timing, just before opening. It features pineapple and you can eat a variety of things. I ordered scallops first, so the scallops came quickly. Scallop butter 600 yen. The best seat for taking photos is Nishinari. Strictly follow the rules. The scallop butter is of course the best. I toasted with the friendly Osaka guy sitting next to me. Draft beer 600 yen. Delicious. Finally it was ready. Pork and egg 900 yen. A perk of the counter seat. I watched the way the person next to me was eating it and tried to imitate it. The fluffy and tender okonomiyaki. The soft pineapple part was a little sweet. It was really fluffy. Okini is not something that's used much these days. I found pineapple! Well, it all fits together, but there are also quite a few sushi restaurants. The bento shop here is really good. This time, the nori bento is good too. The rice porridge is also good. Anyway, the nori bento is 350 yen , which seems to have a lot of rice and alcohol. The simple nori bento is hot, which is a plus. The fried white fish is the best in the side dish world, and the nori is the type that doesn't tear. I drink too much every day . The bicycle parking is free. I wonder if they did it to stop people from parking around there without permission. I went to the delicatessen right next to Shikaku Park. This kind of place is a friend of the common people. There used to be a 100 yen okonomiyaki restaurant around here. The legendary Yamaki-san. Sadly, there was a wide selection of food at lunchtime in Tamade. The amount of prepared food in the deli section was incredible . On the way back from the supermarket in Tamade, I also went to a grilled squid shop called Squid Legend. It seems to be a grilled squid shop that has been around for a long time. I decided to go for the safe option of grilled squid. At first I thought it was a whole roasted squid but it didn't seem to be that. There was also a liquor store set next door. So this is what it's like - looks delicious. When I say old, I mean about 15 years ago. I want to eat it hot. I bought some cheap juice and headed to my usual restaurant. Today, Shikaku Park was beautiful and boring . The finished product looks like this. Grilled squid 250 yen. Can you eat this casually in Osaka? Combined with the egg, it was fluffy. It was my first time eating it and it was just as delicious as it looked. A chunky minced meat cutlet I bought in Tamade. Minced meat cutlet 129 yen. I didn't get any sauce . The sauce came from grilled squid. It was cheap but the meat was heavy. Fry set 158 yen. All kinds of croquettes. Potato croquettes and cream croquettes . Yes! Speaking of tasty and cheap, Yakisoba is 170 yen. The bonito flakes are generous and the noodles are chewy. Pickled ginger is a must-have for Yakisoba. It's quite luxurious, and I'm full. It's like a fish paste . Littering is common in this town . There's also a proper garbage dump. Apparently, this area used to be rough. Prices vary depending on the location. Vending machines. There's a nice hotpot restaurant just beyond Sankaku Park, so I went to Nabeya, which I'd been wanting to try. Nabeya is also great value for money, unique to Nishinari. It's right next to Sankaku Park. You have to order a drink. Bottled beer goes well with it. There's a surprisingly wide selection. I like beef. It's popular and out of stock. This is the sauce for stewing, herring roe, wasabi , and a one-person hotpot, so this is
one serving. Chicken hotpot 1000 yen. Easy to eat. Herring roe takes a while to cook, so it's just right. I'll cook it myself slowly , sweating, and slowly. This is just the right feeling. It's a rich flavor that even Kanto people will be satisfied with , so it's best to go early. They said there was only a little rice left, so I ordered udon . The chicken is very chewy, and goes well with beer. As it looks, it has a fairly rich flavor, just right. I think it's conveyed from the appearance, but I put in quite a lot of rice! I definitely want to try this! Here is the rice porridge set. Beautifully made. You have to eat this!! It's so shiny and juicy that you'll want to eat it again. The total is 2,810 yen . The TV in the park is on today. I'm full so I'm going to take a break at Sankaku Park . Please subscribe to the channel and leave a comment! I've discovered a great value for money spot! Shelter ↓↓ I found a 200 yen takoyaki shop so I went there 10 pieces included lol Freshly baked Being in this town makes my senses go haywire It 's not at all Japanese prices Baiyali's it's been a while since I've had takoyaki 200 yen It would be nice to have this as a snack This one has soft konjac which is difficult to eat with two toothpicks Of course I missed the octopus as well but there are also public baths scattered around This bento shop also has a pretty good selection Hungry Tei Surrounded by old men, I bought some park food today too Shumai 200 yen Shumai that looked appealing The shumai were voluminous and felt like a good deal It was meaty and chunky They felt more like a snack than a snack They make you want to eat rice so throw the trash in the trash Tetsu from Jarinko Chie has moved There are really a lot of retro coffee shops Behind suspicious iron bars Is there a dangerous time or something like that? 食べましたか? English: Just a little further away I found a delicious restaurant so I headed there. There is also a public bath here. The restaurant I was looking for is here. It has a cool crown and the owner is an older man. It would be fine if he was just suffering from summer fatigue, but he seemed unwell. The restaurant has a long history and has a lot of menu items, but it seems they are unable to make them now. It is even dirtier than the photos online show. Anyway , they served me an ice cold beer. Anyway, they served me an ice cold beer. This kind of atmosphere is relaxing, so I was told they would serve me cheese slowly while I drank quietly. I ate . Personally I felt relaxed and in a good mood. There seemed to be no signs of any customers coming. I just relaxed. I wanted to eat some food too, but I gave up and decided to go home. By the way, the old man has been sitting in front of me for a while now. Beer and other drinks for 580 yen. It is a restaurant with a good reputation, so I came here, but it seems like it is difficult to get in unless you are a regular. I can't just have one piece of cheese, so I head to a ramen restaurant in Nishinari. Hoshino Resort is just across the street. Tsutenkaku Tower is also visible here. This is Hassenro, a popular ramen restaurant in the Nishinari area . It is a relatively new restaurant. It has been a while since I had the back fat ramen, and it was tempting! Ramen & char siu bowl 1,150 yen , the char siu bowl looks delicious! It's been a while since I've had a meal like I normally do. Ramen restaurants are rare in the Airin area, and the staff are friendly and fun. This char siu bowl is pretty amazing ! I occasionally go to a Gekishibu udon restaurant for my thick ramen . I saw it open when I first arrived in Nishinari, but unfortunately couldn't go this time because I was going on a long weekend. You might not know this, but the town is crowded with people going to work in the morning, and I feel like having udon, so I went to a nearby restaurant I've been interested in. By the way, there is also a famous udon restaurant just a few minutes' walk from Nishinari that sells udon for 170 yen. This time, I went to this place in the shopping district and tried udon I've never tried before. Sennariya has a wide menu. Osaka? It's not a stand-up restaurant. I've been curious about chopped udon for a while, and this is my first time trying chopped udon and inari. Chopped udon + inari 390 + 160 yen. I finally found a light-colored broth. Chopped udon is great! The chopped meat was quite light. Apparently udon is more popular in Osaka than soba, and there are many recycle shops. I found a 100-yen grill here. It was cabbage grill... but with fried noodles it was 200 yen. I always eat it at Shikaku Park. This is the 100-yen meal you can still buy today. Cabbage grilled for 100 yen. 100 yen for this is pretty amazing. It really fills you up . You see soup kitchens being held in various places in the morning. This place does it every morning, so since it was a rare opportunity, I took the train out. I was looking at this and thought it was pretty, but it's just graffiti. Right next to Shin-Imamiya Station, just around the corner from the takoyaki shop, there's a popular standing bar called Iwataya Sake Shop. Iwataya Sake Shop. I also got permission to take photos here, according to Nishinari rules. First, I ordered the fried garlic and then this delicious-looking eggplant. It's fun to look at them and choose. Needless to say, I ordered the stew . I drink a lot every day, and Nishinari and sake are inseparable. A gentle feeling. 100 points perfect! It's the best! One of the recommended dishes, the steaming hot garlic . Since I'm heading to Korea, this is my last tuna meal. The sashimi in Japan is amazing, as always. It was oily. It was my first tuna in a while. There were also a variety of skewers to choose from, which I was happy they kept the food warm. I think it was a pork skewers . The satisfaction exceeded my expectations. All in all, 2,300 yen. Finally, I have to go to the Expo. The history of Nishinari is on display . Wow, I think I've played this before. The atmosphere is great, too. Since I was in Osaka, I decided to check out the Pachinko Expo . I had a winning streak, a winning streak, and a winning streak with Keiji for the first time in over a decade! It's so nostalgic! With no sign of stopping, the place closed. Sadly, it wasn't a 4-yen machine. I could continue playing in the morning, but since it was my last day in Nishinari, I had to leave. Nishinari was fun! The history of Yamaki is over . My last dinner at Tamade's deli . All in all, 405 yen . Great sound! Delicious sour! These side dishes were so delicious I still remember them. Are these the loot ? Sangaria, who is very active in Nishinari, is the best when it comes to pork bowls. This is the end of this Nishinari feature.
