This is Feng Ru No. 2 This is the airplane that was brought back to Guangzhou This one is, of course, a model Number One is right at… This says Auckland Ellershurst Square Do we have any viewers from Auckland? What there should be This dish has been served. Roast goose — this one is… And give me a goose gizzard This is one serving — each serving is this big On top is Yang Guofu It’s the kind of place that serves malatang Where is Pizza Hut Entering Enping It’s already Enping 20 minutes until we reach our destination Let’s get off the expressway first Neither of us has been to Enping before I’ve been to the hot springs many times I’ve never been to the city center Many hot springs I think Enping’s hot springs are the most beautiful More beautiful than Taishan Very new The hot spring we went to last time What was it called — Kangqiao? Very new There are many factory buildings Most of them are speaker factories They all export their products They’re all factories Enping is actually not bad either Many overseas Chinese in South America Venezuela The largest number of overseas Chinese in South America The roads are very nice-looking Better than Yangjiang Very beautiful Arriving at the center of Enping City Cross the bridge So this is what Enping is like There’s a river running through the middle Let’s see what river it is This should be considered the old town area It feels older than Shapawan just now No one lives here Downstairs they sell buns Downstairs it’s rented out Very pretty — there’s a river running through the middle There are mountains and seas There is a great river The houses are somewhat old There’s a new town — we’ll go take a look at it in a bit. Jiefang Road — the name alone tells you it’s old. Along Jiangxi Road Far-reaching vision — Grande Bell Tower Enping City Government Very low-key A very narrow road So narrow it seems like a neighborhood lane or a village road Feels like entering a village Take a spin No wonder so many went abroad Of course foreign countries are better But South America It depends on how much money you make — the most important thing is that in the end you can get to the U.S. Getting to the U.S. is awesome Overseas Chinese Guesthouse So old It can really be used for filming This is the old town The new district should be nicer Because many overseas Chinese have left There is a restaurant here Enping Shuimin Station The road is rather old A bit like the old city area of Guangzhou The streets are relatively old The riverside here is nicer Along Jiangxi Road Actually very beautiful Ladies and gentlemen, we’ve arrived in Enping In front of me is the Enping Grand Clock Tower Beside it is the Feng Ru Cultural Research Institute When it comes to modern times Who is the most famous person from Enping I think it should be Feng Ru He was the first-generation aviator China’s dreams of flight Let them begin with him Earlier on Grand military parade China showcased many Very epoch-making aircraft After the inspection, many people specifically come back to Feng Ru’s grave to pay their respects to him Tell him how far we’ve come now Of course it wasn’t easy back then Of course, the technology at that time was all learned in the United States This is the site of the old library It is said it was formerly used as a bell tower Very beautiful Still preserved But because today is a holiday it’s closed The walls have of course been renovated But I believe the layout hasn’t changed This is Enping Enping also has many overseas Chinese The overseas Chinese of Enping Most of them are in South America I’ve recently learned a sentence or two of Spanish One of the bloggers is very famous She calls herself “鬼婆” It seems her maternal grandmother was from Enping She now also lives permanently in Enping Seeing her makes everyone very happy But she studied in Guangzhou Her Mandarin Cantonese Guangzhou dialect Enping dialect They all speak Spanish very well This is Enping Also one of the Five Counties This big bell tower Up to today Of course everyone has seen the Greater Bay Area Games I guess Enping should also be handling part of it What is their most famous thing here now? It’s the hot springs Most famous We’ve come so many times Always for the hot springs Kangqiao — she remembers The whole resort is absolutely amazing But it’s really my first time in the city center I happened to pass by this time, so I came over to take a look Usually I just go straight to the hot spring resort If I get the chance, I’d also like to go see Feng Ru’s grave He’s very famous After the earlier military parade, many people came to pay their respects to him Because he brought technology back from the United States To develop airplanes — right ahead is his place If you go forward you’ll reach the city government Right across the way Along Jiangxi Road Along the river is not Of course not — I was just making that up This river is impressive — it’s called Jinjiang The “jin” in Jinjiu means brocade Feng family (Feng clan) Does he have a museum Maybe they’re all in Jiangmen Very impressive Adding icing on the cake is easy It started from nothing At that time mainland China didn’t have any airplanes He was the one who brought them back It was funded by overseas Chinese capital. The money came from themselves. They even gave their lives He went to save the country That’s how overseas Chinese were back then Even today they certainly have a certain degree of influence Maybe the local people all have some pilot DNA. I guess everyone drives very fast. A very narrow road It’s passed now To this day, Enping here administratively falls under Jiangmen’s jurisdiction Jiangmen city governs several counties and towns beneath it Taishan and Kaiping — no need to say more Xinhui, Heshan, Enping Jinjiang — you can go straight in and swim It’s actually fairly clean — there will definitely be a small amount of trash. I think it’s pretty clean. Very clear. This is Jinjiang Jinjiang Hot Spring is here too, and there’s also the Jinjiang Hotel That one is unrelated — it’s in Shanghai That one has nothing to do with this place. Jinjiang Hot Spring is the relevant one Picking at the eggshells A small amount of trash That’s normal too Then we continued to seek out this piece of history We went to Feng Ru Square The father of aviation The roads here are very narrow This should be the old town It should be When you see banyan trees you know it’s the old town There are some new buildings ahead The stretch we came along feels nicer Because there’s a factory there A factory that does import and export The roads there have been newly paved But when I came to the center, many of the streets felt unfamiliar Because it has a logic So that one turns out to be a path you can walk on Feels older than Kaiping Kaiping is very nice Kaiping is a bit newer Open Pingtaishan Or Enping has it too—we just haven’t found it yet Enping has it too; we haven’t gone there The old city district is like this too Look at Longjin Road in Guangzhou People say it’s like the Qing dynasty The roads aren’t even that wide Guangzhou Longjin Road Not that pretty yet You arrive at Zhongshan Sixth Road, a Qing Dynasty street We are now going to a square We are following the Father of Aviators We have arrived at Feng Ru Square Talk to everyone about the history First, why he is called the Father of Chinese Aviation Actually, Mr. Feng Ru When he was in the United States, inspired by the Russo-Japanese War He believed in aerial warfare Airplanes are very important for a country At that time there was no war yet And he had already been in the United States for many years After seeing the Wright brothers test-fly their airplane in the United States at that time he felt that once he mastered this kind of technology he could save the country The Wright brothers invented the airplane in 1903 In 1907, Mr. Feng Ru, with the help of overseas Chinese in the United States established the Guangdong Manufacturing Machinery Works in Oakland, California that is, Oakland, California 1907 — remember that The airplane only appeared in 1903 At that time he even had to pay out of his own pocket Bring this kind of technology back to mainland China His first stop upon landing was Guangzhou After test-flying the airplane in Oakland, USA in 1907 Fast forward to 1909 Not 2009 After the successful test flights in 1911, he brought this type of aircraft back to Guangzhou Test flights at Yantang Continuing the test flights — in the end the testing was somewhat regrettable He tragically died during a test flight at that time He passed away at the young age of 29 This is Feng Ru No. 2 It was the airplane brought back to Guangzhou Of course this is a model Number 1 is the Feng Ru No. 1 model that was test-flown in Oakland, USA Feng Ru No. 2 model This says Auckland Ellershurst Square Do we have any viewers from Auckland? I think there should be one And on top of that, it has to be like this The Wright brothers were of course remarkable — they made the first one But Feng Ru improved it Actually his planes flew farther and flew higher Back then in the United States, many people wanted him to stay continue to develop but he also felt he should return to serve his motherland he always considered himself Chinese Let’s not talk about political parties for now He believed he was a Chinese person, so he returned This point is very important The rest of the plaza is dedicated to other contributors to the aviation industry For example this one—let me see if it is That’s right He’s also from Enping Huang Panyang He went to London, England at the age of seven Then he went to the United States to study aviation 1932 in Portland First class of the Chinese American Aviation School Then returned to the country and joined the Guangdong Air Force Then he also went to Germany This gentleman is also very accomplished — Pan Zeguang It says Encheng above; he is also from Enping 1933 A pilot who graduated from Guangdong Aviation School Saved the nation and resisted Japan, then in Guangxi Also went to Hunan Amazing or not — Hengyang Airport Many famous people from Enping are pilots Could it be that in the genes of Enping people airplanes are written in Look at this, this Mr. Lu FaxI (Lu Faxi) Also from Enping Studied in Honolulu Studied mechanics at a California automotive school Went to the West Coast Aeronautical School in Los Angeles to study flying He is a pilot Amazing — he wasn’t a pilot in China He damaged a plane at Pearl Harbor Remember, he was Chinese There really are a lot of stories Let’s not talk slowly anymore Everyone should take the chance to learn more about Mr. Feng Ru’s story That’s it. But could it be because of a typhoon or some other reason? That lamp fell down I believe someone will fix it soon, even if a little later Here I also saw his deeds — he is buried at Huanghuagang Over there it says Yantang Very independent; there is a dedicated spot for him By now everyone has seen the news About what happened in South Asia The details aren’t the kind of things I usually talk about on this channel Now at least I have some say. At least I can get to the table and talk to people. Instead of being eaten at the table I won’t go into the details. That side is older; this side is newer. There are some high-rise buildings here equivalent to Guangzhou’s old city district Okay, we’ve taken a quick look Now we’re going to lunch Because it’s already half past twelve What’s the name? The top-ranked place locally The top-ranked Cantonese restaurant Then we should go try it — what do they serve? Claypot rice They have claypot rice and some à la carte dishes Because we’re full, after this meal we’ll go back to Guangzhou Actually we could eat a bit more — if we can’t finish it tonight we’ll eat the rest later Eat some roast goose and the like We don’t need to cook dinner tonight Drive there Very pretty — many new buildings New Town So now the city has both new and old Three minutes’ drive away Very beautiful Riverside development I’ll check how much it costs in a bit Doesn’t this feel like that small town Shabawan from earlier? The houses and roads here Costa Rica Central North America Caribbean Sea Underneath the United States South America There’s a kind of illusion still in Shabawan Come in here Sat down. This place is great for tea and meals Some kind of food Ginger and scallion stir-fried beef Nixiang chicken Lamb hotpot; baked rice with yellow eel Or you could have dim sum instead 10% off I’ll make the tea first Let’s see what food there is Let’s first talk about the specials Pan-fried nine-tail fish 13 yuan Kaiping salted chicken basket 13 yuan It seems Xianshuijiao is full of Wuyi-region delicacies Pan-fried mugwort thin pancake These are special Enping water shield cake This is a dim sum you can try If you can’t finish it, pack it to go Just continue eating it tomorrow morning. They really like eating quail eggs. But we don’t eat quail eggs Five-spice taro cake These are special enough Of course I picked one See what other foods there are I won’t talk about the others Because I won’t talk about the ones you often see As for the porridge, it’s savory chicken congee Would that count as a local specialty? I don’t know The local specialty is yellow eel rice See if they have eel rice here Baked rice Fresh chicken baked rice / fried rice I know this one is the most famous But we just ate it this morning No reason to order it again If this hadn’t been so good this morning Every meal would be seafood Eel baked rice would do just fine My daughter also really likes to eat this There are also some Cantonese-specialty dishes Coke pork rib claypot is back again This one is called sweet-and-sour egg This braised pork trotter with aromatic sauce 49 yuan per serving This five-spice braised goose Actually I want to try it too The clay-baked chicken is one per order, one whole chicken Not even half a piece left You could try the five-spice braised goose If you can’t finish it tonight, it’s fine to eat it the day after tomorrow Think about it The lamb hot pot is the specialty The rest is up to you — choose one claypot rice Claypot rice is market price — ask how they determine the market price The claypot rice and that bun from just now Add anything else? Don’t want claypot rice, goose is fine too I’ll have one braised goose Don’t eat so many carbs Driving is really tiring Especially when returning to Guangzhou — the traffic is insanely jammed See what else there is to eat Dim sum This one is already sweet We can order a royal shrimp dumpling and beef meatballs Beef meatballs I’ve heard the beef here is really good Don’t you know? You’ll know once you taste it Beef ball Beef ball — don’t always have shrimp dumplings The first dish has arrived This is roast goose And there’s a goose thigh This one is also very large Was the goose last time not tasty? The geese here are a bit nicer-looking There’s sauce underneath, but it’s not very greasy Still full from what I ate this morning The second thing they brought out was a lava bun Goose is tender Has a meaty aroma You can feel the chewiness Still very tender/slippery This isn’t very fatty A little fat makes it flavorful Goose webbed wings are like this If you like to have a couple of drinks You’ll definitely like this Very tasty. Tasty This is the real braised goose The goose bones can be eaten for so long And this piece too Nixiang chicken Beef stir-fried with ginger and scallions Baked rice with yellow eel People here in Wuyi like eating goose There are requirements Try this piece If you find it too fatty, you can peel off the skin The sauce is very well made The goose fat is fragrant Has a slight chewiness Not braised until very tender This piece of meat Should be good for yellow eel rice too Talk about the transportation routes Enping has a high-speed rail station It’s 7 kilometers from here, a 15-minute drive Very convenient Even if you’re not from Enping, you can still come back You can come back to soak in the hot springs Many people here As soon as the high-speed train arrives, everyone goes straight to soak in the hot springs A small regret is Here in Enping, there’s no high-speed rail directly to Hong Kong West Kowloon You need to transfer at Guangzhou South, not at Shenzhen Total time about 3 hours The fastest can be as little as 2.5 hours If you return, Enping still has a lot of delicious food. You might not wander around the city center like we are. You might go try some shaobing (Chinese sesame flatbread) Ox hide cake We haven’t eaten ox hide cake before Correction: it’s ox hide And there’s lacquered goose You can also have it inside the hot spring hotel Step outside and there are claypot rice stalls My wife is very satisfied with this. She really likes braised goose. Tastier than the one grandma braises. The goose has a good, chewy bite The sauce has soaked into the meat Goose meat more readily absorbs the flavor Cook the bamboo shoots again If we’re going to spend another night in Enping tonight There are many options — Enping Jinquan Yujing Hotel The family room has a slide design Jinsha Times Plaza is the largest mall around here We might go there in a bit A bit over two hundred yuan — this one is probably already the nicest Family room Downgrade a bit — this Vienna (hotel) isn’t bad either Jinjiang brand, smart twin room 200 yuan Superior twin room: 148 yuan The price is also very affordable Is there any way to make it even cheaper? There are some. Aofeng Square is also near the old town area. Baili Holiday Hotel — 99 yuan per night Of course you get what you pay for There’s no reason to pay for pickled vegetables and expect to get roast goose The most important thing is that it suits you This one looks pretty good too Just a simple one-night stay Take a walk nearby And there’s a river view — that’s impressive The hotel I mentioned earlier Also a river-view king bed room Basically the price is also a little over a hundred yuan The Ramada is near where we just were Over by Feng Ru Square Over two hundred yuan You could come back and walk around sometime if you’re from Enping But if you’re not from Enping Actually, the main reason for coming back to Enping is to soak in the hot springs The hot springs here are really nice Because there are many large resorts Using hot springs as the theme means it’s more than just hot springs There are slides suitable for children Soak in the hot springs in winter and enjoy the water attractions in summer There are also many restaurants inside the hot springs area There’s food available—you won’t go hungry You could even spend all your time inside the resort with no problem But the city center has such good food Why is that sauce like that? It’s the sauce for cheong fun Cheong fun soy sauce Sweet Can compare with this E’gong Village is actually in Guangzhou It’s not that the goose is bad, it’s that the sauce is bad Each chef’s sauce is different The quality of the geese at Eogong Village is a bit better There’s a kind of hard-to-describe taste called “hou wei” Not sure how to describe the HOLD Next, try wrapping it There’s filling But not many Sandy buns, but not many All good Too many words are often too sweet With filling White filling Milky flavor Milky-flavored sauce The wife is very pleased with the goose It’s very tasty Very satisfied. Very satisfied with the sauce Actually, I’m not afraid even if it spills Not afraid The bill was 103.6 yuan — very reasonable Goose 63 yuan is quite normal Other 40 yuan including tea seat Very good We’re heading back to Guangzhou now Plan to find a place to charge up first There’s a big shopping mall along the street I think the food here is pretty good You could try the roast goose The chicken must be really beautiful And there are cars parked all along here It clearly says it’s more reliable/confident Roast goose, chicken, and rice Charging up here Probably need about another half hour Walking around, sometimes fast, sometimes slow I heard this street in Enping is the busiest Is that really so? Today I’ll show you around Let’s take a look at the housing prices Aofeng Plaza parking: 5 yuan per hour We should get free parking for charging, not sure Previously I kept bringing up the topic to everyone Whether 5 million can let you retire in this city Guangzhou is relatively tense I believe Enping should be more than enough This is the place Seems a bit lackluster Remember, today is Sunday Sunday afternoon There are places selling clothes Enping is very close to Taishan And there’s the Enping dialect spoken by Enping people — I don’t know if I’m saying it correctly. It’s very similar to Taishan. At least I can’t tell any difference Maybe they can divide it themselves Property prices are a great deal I saw new ones listed at 3,000 yuan Kaiping is like this — Enping is even cheaper I chose Jinsha Times Square, it’s nearby here But there aren’t many second-hand apartments Look at the price 89 square meters, only 1.7 million Don’t say 5 million — 500,000 is enough to retire Of course, the older one I’ll look for some expensive ones Searched again — some are pricey Over 4,000 per square meter Enping Country Garden Just hearing “Country Garden” tells you it’s new 350,000; 93 square meters So like overseas Chinese coming back to retire Can 5 million allow you to retire? Even half of that is enough, if it’s Enping This is called Fei’e Staircase to the third floor, 320,000 Second-hand Renovated This place needs to be tidied up See if there are any new buildings This one is a bit newer This is the new building 2015 Enping Bus Station Very bright Newly built apartment There are fewer newly built apartments in the city center Decide later, don’t look, just pick one at random I don’t even know what’s going on Junhui Shangcheng seems really nice That square just now The Human Resources and Social Security Bureau building — it’s just behind the Feng Ru Square of the HRSS Bureau None of them are cheap 990,000 If you want a new one, of course it would be like this Four bedrooms and two living rooms, 141 square meters Used to living in a big house; these should all be acceptable 155 square meters 6,400 yuan per square meter The handover has already been completed 570,000 to 990,000 for a unit See how many square meters If you want 100 square meters, calculate it yourself There are many around there Jinjiang Aoyuan Jinjiang How much? Over 900,000. They’re all this price. Over 6,000 These were bought from the developer If it’s a private sale, secondhand ones are cheaper And secondhand ones are more reliable If it’s already on sale, and there are finished units available, we’re not worried This one is over 600,000 640,000 for 100 square meters Isn’t that enough? Wangjiang Besides looking at buildings, I’ll take everyone to walk along the commercial street Indeed, I had seen it all before coming here They say this is the commercial street the core area Hong Kong-style milk tea Missing the taste of Hong Kong Now hiring This is Guangxi rice noodles The shop manager makes over five thousand It should be here It’s called Jinrongjie Continuing straight ahead is Times Square Let’s go take a look Lemon tea stall Xiguan Zhu Sheng Noodles Huang’s Desserts There are many things to eat — it’s not like there’s nothing at all Dessert Ginger milk curd Not that full, can sit down It says Enping City Printing Factory So that place is a printing factory again Could construction still be underway now? Not surprising There’s more here Liuzhou river snail rice noodles Young people like to eat these Luckily, this flavor is okay Nowadays young people like to eat these the most Dance school Optician’s shop — still considered prosperous Some of it is old But there are also very new buildings, not none Some of the new ones aren’t even used Like Heyuan, the whole road doesn’t even have any cars When you get to Yangshan Yangshan seems to be busier than it There aren’t even any cars Don’t even get me started on the entire Starbucks McDonald’s and KFC — you have no idea how hard it was to find them Everything is here except Sam’s Maybe there are no iPhones All the others that are agencies/authorized dealers are available The street feels very pleasant Occasional breezes pass by It’s neither very hot nor very cold What do they sell here This is a pharmacy Here electric bikes and motorcycles go side by side They obey the rules when riding motorcycles But once there are more of them, naturally drivers need to be careful There’s a market — I just want to go and have a look there There’s even a KFC The mall across the way Jinsha Times Square There is KFC and McDonald’s There is a jewelry store Shopping mall, milk tea shops Everything you could need Cinema Supermarket Let’s go take a look It feels like there are a lot of people But big malls in Shenzhen don’t seem to be like that There are gold shops too Up ahead they’re selling apples just like before Watsons has all kinds of things Salaries are like this Let’s not talk about the 6,000 one — talk about the 3,500 Plus social insurance, 3,000 take-home Guangzhou is also another thousand more Now you have to talk about the lowest price Just now looking at those new buildings, they’re also over six thousand yuan New buildings in Guangzhou cost over sixty thousand yuan per unit All very busy Willing to come to the mall to shop Buy things at physical stores There’s someone else in the dessert shop Whether they’re a local or a tourist is unknown It used to be very impressive — there was a sightseeing elevator Many malls still use it There is also Miniso below Bawang Chaji There are also clothes for sale On top is Yang Guofu Eating mala tang Pizza Hut Buy durian pizza Investment promotion Nothing else That way is Pizza Hut Also not Sally’s Italiano (Illy?) Not sure if it’s because of eating pizza Property prices are really low; I won’t say anything else Property prices are low — if you had five million here you’d be more than enough Buying an off-plan apartment costs a hundred The remaining four hundred is unimaginably enough So enough that I wouldn’t even talk about it A tycoon is not a billionaire Change cars, go to Taishan for a drive — that works too Like going to soak in hot springs, that’s fine too Many viewers have left comments backstage asking How’s the medical care Enping—I don’t know But Guangzhou’s medical care First of all, many aspects of Guangzhou have already slowly been surpassed by others But medical care is the only thing that is far ahead. Some viewers raised a question. Do public hospitals have very long waiting lists? I can tell you I won’t I won’t go into too many details You can search online — there are many foreigners When illness comes here It’s like foreigners have been coming here for a long time; suddenly feeling unwell Go see a doctor and it’s completely cured Many of these examples A great many I’ll explain to everyone why this is the case Because of mainland China There are many cases When there are many cases, there are many clinical cases Naturally, the treatment won’t require a long wait. For example, I once saw a news report that said a Filipino-descended Hong Konger He’s about to start dialysis He can’t even leave town When our daughter got married, he went to England and took her there Laundered a lot of money, also in Hong Kong Who knew he went up to Shenzhen to launder The price there was much cheaper The overall quality of life has improved a great deal This is absolutely something you don’t need to worry about Whether it’s internal medicine or surgery, all kinds are available Some of the equipment even Because Guangzhou has many cases That equipment, actually Beijing doesn’t have as much as Guangzhou does Those very complicated ions and protons What kind of chemotherapy device So there’s no need to worry about this aspect As for the price, it is also fixed Because I’m going to tell you a story Actually, roughly in our I started working around the year 2000 There were then very big problems Those medical issues — why did people dare not go see a doctor? As soon as you get there, they first make you spend a bunch of money They run all sorts of checks, this and that, and once the checks are done The whole point is to make money off you Opened a bunch of medicines that didn’t work I hadn’t heard the names of those drugs before; I tried them myself too Back in college Later the state realized this was not acceptable They gradually began to take it seriously And then they canceled a lot of unnecessary things All the people who needed to be caught have all been caught. Really. What’s going on up to now? You can open just one pill If you want to take one, only open one at a time, not a whole row You need to check it. If you say you won’t check, then you won’t check You just sign it yourself, no need to worry Even if, taking a step back, there’s no healthcare coverage No problem at all Including my father’s previous intestinal cancer has also been treated successfully Now he has been recovered for ten years The doctors no longer pay attention to him Get blood tests every six months Should you spend money? Of course you should Having it and not having it are two different things There’s also a milk tea shop Someone’s sitting They’re hiring again The store manager is fifty hundred Enough to pay the mortgage Enough to buy one square meter They’re all busy; the charging spots just now weren’t. They’re all busy here. With so many power banks, you can tell Are the Guangzhou waitstaff paid enough? Of course not—it’s not enough for a year. Impossible I noticed there are no shared electric grills here A little less There are a lot of milk tea shops Our trip this time It’s about to end It was a lot of fun From here back to Guangzhou is about two and a half hours Including the traffic jam, three hours is more than enough Coming here Even in the off-season it’s very busy Everything here is good to eat The goose is very satisfying That eel rice Actually, if I weren’t afraid of eating too much You could also order the eel rice We saw the customers at the table behind us all eating it Baked rice with yellow eel If we have the chance, we’ll come and stroll around next time But the best approach if you’re traveling is definitely to soak in the hot springs first, then drive over to the city center Finished the goose Then back to Guangzhou Two days and one night It’s the most suitable. It took just over two hours to drive here from downtown Guangzhou. I’ll give you three hours Left at 9 and arrived at 11 to check into the room Soaked in the hot spring first Stayed soaking in the hotel, eating, drinking, and having fun the whole time Okay, the next morning I wake up You like being able to sleep in as long as you want You can also get up early and come here for morning tea A late lunch Very good See you in the next episode, bye-bye Remember to give me a like And share my video with your friends Remember bye-bye Really HSBC is not fake To send money back from the U.S. you have to use HSBC It must be that overseas Chinese remittances use it Does any audience member know? This is my first time hearing it too. But if it’s fake, I’ll be sued badly. If it’s fake, just treat it as a scam Will have to sit for a long time in prison It should be real — it says HSBC If it were fake it would say something like HSBO Back in Guangzhou now Let’s see how much the highway toll is From Enping to here We’re in Enping: 77 yuan More thrilling than Enping Thirty years of not having come to Guangzhou and still not knowing This is what Guangzhou is like Guangzhou is like this—a large county town

Enping is a county-level city in Guangdong Province, administered by the prefecture-level city of Jiangmen, and is located in the southwestern part of the province at a key junction between the Greater Bay Area, the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone, and the Hainan Free Trade Port. As one of the renowned “Wuyi” (Five Counties), Enping has an ancient history, having been established in AD 220 during the Eastern Han Dynasty, making it one of the oldest counties in Guangdong. It is a famous hometown for overseas Chinese, with a vast diaspora living abroad (particularly in Venezuela); notably, Feng Ru, the “Father of Chinese Aviation,” was a native of Enping. Economically, Enping is celebrated as China’s first “Hometown of Hot Springs” and home to a National Geothermal Park, possessing rich tourism resources. It is also a major manufacturing hub, recognized as “China’s Microphone Industry Base” and “China’s Performing Arts Equipment Industry Base.” Furthermore, its agricultural sector is known for unique geographical indication products like Enping Lècài (a local vegetable) and Enping rice noodles.

Feng Ru (Fung Yue, January 12, 1883 – August 25, 1912), born Feng Jiuru in Liantang Village, Enping, Guangdong (part of the Wuyi region), is revered as the “Father of Chinese Aviation” and “China’s First Aviator.” Born into poverty, Feng Ru traveled to San Francisco, USA, at the age of 12 (1895) to make a living. Witnessing the West’s advanced industrial technology, he was deeply troubled by China’s weakness and vowed “to dedicate my entire life to the endeavor of building flying machines” to serve his homeland through aviation. He began developing aircraft in Oakland, California, in 1907, teaching himself and overcoming immense difficulties. On September 21, 1909, he successfully piloted the “Fung Yue No. 1,” a biplane he designed and built himself, making him the first Chinese person to fly an aircraft of their own design. In 1910, he built the more advanced “Fung Yue No. 2,” which won awards in an Oakland airshow in 1911. In response to the Xinhai Revolution, Feng Ru rejected lucrative offers in the U.S. and returned to China in February 1911 with his aircraft and team; Sun Yat-sen appointed him Captain of the Republican revolutionary army’s air corp. Tragically, on August 25, 1912, while performing a flight demonstration at Yantang, Guangzhou, to raise funds, his plane crashed. He was fatally injured and died at the age of 29, his last words urging his compatriots “not to let my death hinder the progress of aviation,” thus marking a brief but brilliant career that launched China’s history of flight.
