【4K】Desde TREVELIN a ESQUEL – Montañas y Valles de la Patagonia | Chubut, Argentina

Welcome to a relaxing journey along one of
the most beautiful routes in Argentine Patagonia, a place where nature dazzles at every step. National Route 259 connects the towns of
Esquel and Trevelin in the province of Chubut, along a stretch of approximately 26 kilometers. Although the journey is short, it offers
various attractions that make it a scenic drive through the 16 de Octubre Valley. Along the way between both towns, or continuing
on Route 259 beyond Trevelin, there are several points of interest, popularly
known as the “Welsh Route.” Among its attractions are:
Nant y Fall Vineyards. A Patagonian wine-growing venture that
offers guided tours and tastings. Nant y Fall Waterfalls: a low-difficulty trail that goes
through several cascades of the river with the same name. Nant Fach Flour Mill: a mill that produces
flour in an artisanal way and has a museum to learn about its history and
that of the Welsh settlers. Tulip Fields: if you travel between October
and November, you can visit this vast field with millions of tulips in bloom. Los Cipreses Area and Los Alerces National Park:
continuing west along the route, you reach these natural areas. It’s a longer section
and may require more time. It’s only 26 kilometers, but the drive invites
you to take your time: roll down the window, let in the scent of wildflowers, watch as the
mountains of Los Alerces National Park take shape on the horizon. Trevelin (in Welsh “mill town”) is a
locality located in the province of Chubut, in Argentine Patagonia, within
the Futaleufú Department. It sits in a vast productive valley
surrounded by mountain nature, being a mountain tourist destination offering
lodging, traditional cuisine, flower fields (tulips), and vineyards. According to the 2022 census, Trevelin has
10,729 inhabitants, making it the eighth most populated locality
in the province of Chubut. From this point, access to the Tulip Fields
is via an 8-kilometer gravel road. Tulip Fields, Trevelin.
