Hello everyone, I’m in Okinawa this time. This is a special edition. I’m traveling around Naha, Okinawa, Japan for two days . It’s Kanna’s birthday, too. I rented a car today, so I’ll use it to get around Naha. This time, please enjoy the Okinawa edition. I’m already in Okinawa ! I flew here yesterday. Okinawa has the Yui Rail, which runs on top of a monorail . You basically get around using it, like the BTS in Bangkok, which is great. There’s a good connection, but I feel like Okinawa is a bit weak overall . The view from the Yui Rail . This time, I rented a car from Okinawa Rent-a-Car Naha. It’s incredibly cheap, renting a Prius for two days for 4,800 yen, so I’m a little worried. It ‘s so cheap I’m a little worried. It’s far from the station, so I called a taxi . It’s about 10 minutes from here. I think this Prius is the one we use . It’s a rental car shop like the ones in the Philippines. Hello. Is this today’s car? It’s light blue. That guy had a Filipino feel to it, too. I got this one today. I’m going for a Prius missile. From here, I’ll head to the Churaumi Aquarium. It’ll take about two hours. I think I’ll have an A&W and some ice cream on the way, relaxing. The two-day trip costs a staggering 4,800 yen. Isn’t this car going to explode? Off we go! Well, we’ve arrived. Our first destination. A&W is cute. It looks like a gas station. Everyone’s wearing sunglasses and taking pictures, like the Philippines? This place is amazing, isn’t it? So , here we are. There’s a huge line. It’s super crowded. Shall we eat first? There’s a menu, I see. Amazing. You can order here. It’s Saturday, so it’s super crowded. I’ll leave my diet to tomorrow . Would you like to eat inside? I’d like one of these, please. Chili, cheese, curly fries. And can I get two root beers with this? Sure. So, we have small, regular, or large sizes. Which would you like? Root beer, pair? Yes. Do you want refills? Free refills, right? Is it free? What’s the difference? Are they different sizes? Um, what should I do? Regular. Okay, then. Okay, here ‘s the A&W burger. This is the chili, cheese, curly fries. Food that ignores calories. But judging from what I see here, no one is overweight. Delicious. This is an A&W burger : hamburger, bacon, cream cheese, tomato, some mysterious fried food, and lettuce. Wow, amazing. I get this cheese so much here. The calories are crazy , but I’ll ask for a refill. Thank you. The apparel section is so cute. I want this one, it’s been with me twice. The brown is so cute. Now that I’m satisfied with my purchases , I’m off to the aquarium. Are you full? Yes. Let’s go for a missile ride on my beloved Prius. It’s a beautiful day. I thought I’d take a break, and I saw Blue Seal, so I decided to check it out. It’s a classic, Blue Seal from A&W. This store is pretty decent. They have a lot of apparel here, too. They also have crepes . I got the salt chinsuko flavor and this one called Yanbaru Double Shower. I’ll eat it by the window with a view of the ocean. If you come to Okinawa, try this BLUE SEAL salted chinsuko ice cream. It has chinsuko mixed into it. I tried it at Sushiro when I was in Fukuoka, and it was so delicious I’ve loved it ever since . Whenever I come here, I always try the salted chinsuko flavor . It’s delicious. No matter what, the salted chinsuko is the best. The salted chinsuko is the best. What did you get? This one was chinsuko, and it was caramel-flavored. Salty caramel and apple, a delicious treat in a matter of seconds. We still have the T-shirts we haven’t eaten yet . I still have this. We just arrived at the Churaumi Aquarium. It was really hard to find a parking spot here, so it’s probably around 3pm now. It’s Saturday, so it’s crowded. It’s a perfect day for everyone to go out. It’s been a while since I’ve had a three-day weekend, so I’m going to check out the aquarium . Okinawa is great. If I were to serve time in prison, get a criminal record, and be told to live in Japan, I’d probably live here. It really is a great place. It has a hippie vibe, the food is delicious, the people are nice, and I’ll just say, “Nakkuru Nai Nai.” Do you know what “Nankurunaisa” means? I think it means “everything will work out,” right? I thought about getting a Nankurunaisa tattoo. But I thought the “Nankurunaisa” mentality might not suit me, so I looked into it and found out that “Nakurunaisa” doesn’t mean “everything will work out.” It’s not a casual phrase; it’s a proper phrase, like “if you try, you can do it.” So it’s not like “everything will work out,” it’s a strong, determined phrase that means if you do the right thing properly, the results will come. While many people in Okinawa have the image of people who don’t work every day and just say “Nankurunaisa,” that’s not 100% the case. It’s a strong, determined phrase. The cicadas are chirping. Can I get to the aquarium from this way? Yes, from this way. The cicadas are chirping like crazy. Summer wasn’t over yet, so I decided to go to the aquarium . It was my first time at Churaumi Aquarium. This time, I bought tickets from Klook. Every time I use Klook, I get a discount with the coupon code “IMUKENBB.” Since I booked in advance through Klook, I didn’t need to print the tickets. Just scan your QR code and you’re in. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. There are a lot of people. Just hold up your QR code and you’re good to go. Let’s go see some of Okinawa’s creatures. Aren’t they starfish? They ‘re starfish. So pretty. They’re all swimming around chirping. Their hearts are smiling. A jellyfish like something out of Star Wars . It looks like a conger eel nyakki. Wow , that’s amazing. It’s doing Xavier’s pose . That’s the back of a whale shark. It’s circling around. I was also looked down upon by people doing the same thing in the shallows, and then I came out after the aquarium. There were all kinds. I was so happy to see the whale shark I wanted to see . It was great. It must be great to be able to see it up close like that. I’m going to the Tropical Dream Center. It’s almost 5pm, but I’m running late. Admission is free today, so I’ll go to the Tropical Dream Center. Here it is. I’ve arrived at the Dream Center. It’s like Alice in Borderland. They played the heart game here in Alice in Borderland . There are lots of hide-and-seek plants, so let’s try smelling the flowers like this. Do you normally smell them? Do you normally smell durian? Probably not . It smells nice. Nice. We’ve finished the Lotus Aquarium , thank you. It was fun. We also saw a whale shark. Looking at the fish is making me hungry. Let’s go for dinner. It’s a perfect day for a sunset here right now, everyone is looking at the ocean. We’re seeing a wonderful sunset. Okinawa is the best. A lot of people are coming to see it. But it’s windy. Quite windy. I want to live here. I want to live in Okinawa. Hello. Before heading back to the city center, I’m thinking of going for some yakiniku. What was it called? Grandma’s House. There’s a yakiniku restaurant called Grandma’s House with good reviews? They serve Okinawan pork, so I’m going for Agu Pork. I saw a neon sign like a girl’s minicar . It’s Grandma’s House. Auntie’s Homecoming has an Asian, or maybe Vietnamese, feel. There are a lot of spiritual signs , and Shohei Ohtani is here. Can I have the Okinawan Agu Pork Special Set? Maya Miki is here, too. Am I overwhelmed here? I remember they explained it to me earlier, but I remember that this is a breast. Agu Pork is a black pig native to the Ryukyu Islands in Okinawa . It’s completely different. It has a delicious flavor, like the meat itself. Is it really this good? It’s really good. The meat itself has a really strong flavor. It makes me think that all the meat I’ve eaten up until now has just tasted like yakiniku sauce. Oh, good work. I’m back at the hotel. Since then, I’ve been to a few Aeon stores. I’m exhausted after going there and now eating Blue Seal ice cream. Finally, Yun-san, who I’ve become friends with, told me to contact him if I ever come to Korea, so I’m seriously going to contact him. I slept so soundly. My skin is rough from overeating, so I’m going to take it easy today and go for a burger. Yay! Yesterday I went to a hamburger place called A&W, and today I’m going to try a hamburger place called Jef. I ‘ve been to A&W the last time we came to Okinawa, but I’ve never been to Jef, so I’m excited to see what it’s like. Honestly, I really love Okinawa. I’ve loved it since the first time I came here. I love Okinawa’s warm weather all year round. It seems like all the winter worries would just disappear if I stayed here. That sign says Jef . What does it look like ? It has a very ‘Ender’ vibe. It seems like every place has a gas station vibe . Is it a former gas station? This store looks like it used to be a gas station. You can order here, which is nice. It has a certain B-movie feel. There are no fake Instagrammer girls. The building itself is great. They’re open from 6:30 to 11:00 in the morning, which is too early. They have a pretty extensive menu. They also have the Nuyaru Burger Blue Seal. I want to try Zenzai. They also sell T-shirts. Amazing design. Cute. The interior has a local feel, which is nice. What’s this? Okinawan shikwasa. Nanban chicken sandwich. Potatoes and root beer float. Looks delicious. This looks seriously good. This is amazing. Of course they don’t go together . They should definitely get the float. This root beer is amazing. Like a tennis racket. The flavor is simple. It ‘s fried in 100% vegetable oil, which is healthy . This is also cute. A good choice for health-conscious people . The Nanban chicken sandwich has a strong bitter melon flavor. So delicious. Eat it. This is amazing. This is too delicious . A couple sitting by the window eating Jef, enjoying the blue sky and white clouds. So happy. That feeling is dwelling within. That same peace of mind is reassuring. I just came to the toilet, and I wonder if it’s the weather? I’m feeling excited. I have flashbacks to coming to this store before going to the beach during summer vacation in elementary or middle school, even though I’ve never been here before. We’ve arrived. Umanchu Market. Let’s go. It really does have a roadside station feel. I guess you can buy souvenirs here too. Isn’t this that one? Dragon fruit. This looks like soap. I see this a lot around here, so I think I’ll try it. It looks sweet, doesn’t it? Sweet. It’s the kind of tea you gulp down. Weak. Perfect for sipping in the summer. I eat brown sugar, and the brown sugar in the individual portions seals up right away , so it’s sweet , so don’t eat half in one bite. Ah, I see. It’s super sweet. Just a little is fine. This might be good for dieting. This is good for my heart. We’ve arrived. I came here because I was being selfish and wanted to see the cape. This turnip is cute. It looks like this. I thought it was about the soul. Like that spirit , like a flowing soul . They say it’s the Ryukyu spirit. It’s the name of a region. It ‘s so beautiful. It would be best if we could go down, but I guess that’s impossible. We’ve arrived at Umikaji Terrace. This area is next to the airport. The highlight here is being able to see the moment a plane lands up close . I just flew in. Let’s take a picture of Kanna with her mouth open, with the plane flying into her mouth in perspective. No one has been there yet. It has that Santorini feel to it, too. I’m enjoying some Japanese Suntory Nandagi. It has a deep flavor and is seriously delicious. Why is it so good? I’m enjoying a banana shake. Waiting for the sunset. This is the best right now. This is the ending. Sorry. I’ve been busy with various things and didn’t have time to film a video, so I’m ending it by myself. I have to edit this by the end of the day . We were supposed to talk about our impressions together, but I’m sorry that it’s just one of my impressions. Okinawa was amazing. In a word, I want to give up on life and sink into the sea. Kanna and I love Okinawa and we really want to live there. It’s the only place in Japan where you can live . The people are kind, the food is delicious, and it tickles your hippie spirit . Being there makes me feel like I’m back in my hippie days and I want to sink into the sea for a while . It ‘s truly amazing. I’ll be visiting Okinawa again. This time I posted about my trip to Okinawa. Next, I’m heading to Laos and Myanmar. I’ll be there in three days, so it’s a bit hectic, but please check it out. Thank you. Okinawa.
