[字幕]京都の海 京都丹後鉄道の観光列車「丹後あおまつ」で北近畿の絶景を楽しむ

This time, we will take you on a train journey with beautiful sea views even though it is in Kyoto. I am coming to Nishi-Maizuru Station in Kyoto Prefecture. Board the Kyoto Tango Railway’s sightseeing train “Tango Aomatsu” and head towards Toyooka Station. Various sightseeing trains run on the Kyoto Tango Railway. The Tango Aomatsu is one of them. The Tango Aomatsu train has a distinctive interior space that gives you a Japanese atmosphere. Inside the car, there are sofa-type seats and shelves displaying local specialties. Wood is used everywhere. Sometimes products are sold at the sales counter. The four-person box seats have a large table in the center. There are plenty of regular seats for two people as well. The train left Nishi-Maizuru Station on time. The Kiha 85 series, which used to be JR Tokai’s main express train, is parked here. You can also enjoy the front view on the Tango Aomatsu. On the other side is the luxury sightseeing train “Tango Kuromatsu”. The train has arrived at Shisho Station. On the Tango Kuromatsu train, you can enjoy sweets and luxurious meals on board. Regarding “Tango Kuromatsu”, I have not created a video, but I have created an article. What came from the other side was a cycle train where you could take your bicycle with you. The train departs from Shinonome Station. The train runs while looking at the beautiful Yura River on the left. Even though it’s a local train in a rural area, it does have some speed. The train arrives at Tango-Kanzaki Station. Between Tango-Kanzaki Station and Tango-Yura Station, there is the Yuragawa Bridge, which is a must-see. Yuragawa Bridge is a bridge that looks like a train running over the sea. It is a major train window on the Kyoto Tango Railway. Once you pass Tango Yura Station, you will see the beautiful sea. As you approach Miyazu Station, Amanohashidate will come into view. The train departs from Miyazu Station, which is the transfer station for the Miyafuku Line. We arrived at Amanohashidate Station, the gateway to the popular tourist destination Amanohashidate. The train departs from Amanohashidate Station. The train runs while overlooking Amanohashidate, one of Japan’s three most scenic views. The train is stopping at Yosano Station. After leaving Yosano Station, the train crosses the mountain pass again. The train has arrived at Kyotango-Omiya Station. The sun was gradually setting. The train has arrived at Amino Station. Amino Station is a major hub station and is also the terminal station for limited express trains. The “Tango no Umi” vehicle is parked over there. The train has arrived at Yuhigaura Kizu Onsen Station. The train has arrived at Kotenbashi Station. A local train with a “Tango Explorer” design came from the other side. There will be more tunnel sections. We will soon enter Hyogo prefecture from Kyoto prefecture. Pass through the 1,420.5m long Umaji Tunnel from Kyoto Prefecture to Hyogo Prefecture. From here on, the trail slides down to the city center of Toyooka. It’s a single-track, non-electrified mountain section that somehow reminds me of the railroads that crossed the American continent. Stork no Sato Station is the only intermediate station in Hyogo Prefecture. The train is approaching the city center of Toyooka. From the other side, the JR San’in Main Line tracks were approaching. The vehicle parked on the left is the “Tango no Umi” vehicle. It is mainly used for limited express trains such as “Hashidate” and “Tango Relay.” After this, we returned to Kyoto by “Tango Sea”. We have also made a video of it, so please take a look. Thank you for your viewing.
